Seems like blacks are crushed, either HDR setting (not just in game but also perhaps autoHDR in windows and/or monitor), or say not full range colour output (NVIDIA used to often, maybe still do, default to limited 16-235 range colour output instead of full range on especially usually HDMI)
(Otherwise I'd have said it's perhaps neutral lightning setting being on or perhaps different in game contrast/brightness settings, not monitor ones, but you said you tried all graphics settings)

E.g. in NV Control Panel => Change Resolution => scroll down with the right screen selected and double check if output dynamic range is full instead of limited
(there's also one in adjust video colour settings => advanced tab there that also has a similar dynamic range but I don't know if that one applies to e.g. games or at all)

Also, ideally you'd compare screenshots with identical graphics settings in another game too especially in a place with some good dynamic range of light vs dark (with shadows and darker spots visible in the scene, ranging from fully dark to slightly visible areas under shadows) to see if it's related to something with Div2 acting up or if it's a system-wide thing where the blacks are crushed, at least that's how it comes across, or some gamma setting

The gamma setting example isn't just monitor related, game's actual output can also be affected by GPU/game's gamma setting that isn't changing monitor settings (which'd not be visible in a screenshot indeed) but is instead directly affecting the source feed so it looks like that on any monitor and recording

And everything else I mentioned is settings that change the source image before output and thus are visible on all monitors and also in screenshots/recordings

On top, that issue doesn't seem brightness related to me anyway so I'd not bring that up, as the bright areas are sufficiently bright, it's just the dark places getting crushed way too much

He counts as "Rouge Agent" AI if I'm not mistaken, he got 2 skills, first one is hack pulse which is unique to him and hunters(not sure about hunters) and 2nd one is defender drone. If you try any damage skills such as turret, striker drone and stinger hive, he'll hack it and use it against you. He will stay immune until you kill his defender drone. Tactic is usually kill defender drone, give damage enough to force him to use medkit, start shooting again. You can effectively use banshee/ scorpion combo to stunlock him and not let him use his medkit

He uses medkit when he only got 2 armor slots left.

When you see his armor around there, use banshee and keep hitting with your other primary, before banshee's stun status lost, start shooting with scorpio

Looks like story is selected. Should be able to run into the mission and it will trigger the objective. If not you might try matchmaking and that will start the mission, but since you said solo, I’d try matchmaking and stopping matchmaking before it sends you an invite request. Then run into the mission

You can keep the stacks to an extent … it stacks based on enemies in front of you but it’s dmg is kinda low for multiplayer so it won’t refill the mag and you’ll be forced to reload

Also, re-animated on or off or does it matter (I play with it on for the whole event)? Only reason I ask is because a lot of what I’ve been reading makes it sound like most people play on challenging difficulty?

It’s a dps set so you need at least 50% Chc with coyotes mid buff and a good amount of chd say around 130 chd

You should be running skills that apply status effects to enemies … the easiest of which is the jammer pulse and banshee pulse . When you kill an enemy with a status effect you’ll get hollow point (special ammo) added to your magazine which will amplify your damage by 20% or I think 30% if ur running the OD Chest

Actually I've had another question, why are Named Caches so sought after as opposed to exotics (generally this is what I see)

Exotics are capped at two (one gun, one armor) so you usually just get the one you want and move on, plus you get multiple free exotics every week just by doing the weekly projects

Named gear has perfected talents, which tend to be more powerful than their counterparts

But they're way more varied so you need to farm them way more

Like an exotic will always have the same stats, just different % values to optimize for later

heroic countdown does drop higher rolled gear on average BUT because its much harder then challenging countdown, its not worth doing unless you have an organized team (at least for loot farming)

There is such a bug indeed, remove the visual transmog modification before switching builds and it should fix itself. This happens with all of the gear visual modifications (bags, vests, gloves etc) from this season's apparel event

Possibly a noob question but this whole expertise thing makes no sense. So I'm expertise level 2. And I have gear that says "proficient no upgrades active". When I go to the expertise menu none of those items show up in the menu for me to be able to upgrade.

You can’t upgrade past your expertise level.

I'm aware of that. I said there's no upgrades active which means I didn't upgrade it but my expertise level is at 2

I have no issue upgrading my weapons though. They all show up in the menu. But gear items it's only a few.

For example. First pic shows its proficient with no upgrades. 2nd pic shows the expertise level and the menu that lists all the items I can research only shows 7 pairs of gloves which I've used far more than 7 lol. It doesn't show any items I'm actually proficient in.

you'd be going to the empress international brand to upgrade those gloves instead. the gloves section in expertise will only show named and exotic gloves.

with that said i do not recommend upgrading armor at all. the reason why is because it will only increase the base armor of that armor piece (80k for gloves) by 1% per level.

if you do upgrade stuff with expertise, do that on weapons and skills that you use the most.

M1a CQB is probably the highest bursting rifle in the game. Boomerang is an excellent talent on a crit build. If you're really good and consistent at headshots, rifleman is also good.

If you land a crit with say 100% CHD and 30% TWD, it doesn't matter if you first use CHD (x2) and then TWD (x1.3) or other way around (x1.3 and then x2)

so if you have two sources of TWD (obliterate and vigilance for example) they don't individually multiply as then it'd be 1.25 * 1.25 for 1.5625 or 56.25% buff, but you first add them up for 25+25=50% and that becomes the TWD multiplier as 1.5

RP & WF, Dropped on my level 40 character and then converted to level 30 for my second character. That's why it makes no sense that half of the exotic reconfigure blueprints that are for sale on my level 30 character don't work.

Have had ridgeways drop from level 30 exotic cache, and you can reconfigure waveform, capacitor, Scorpio etc. (but not all level 40 exotics) from level 40 to level 30
