I saw someone on YouTube who said, that it would be better to switch the backpack with Creeping Death to the Eclipse Protocol backpack instead, and then get a Golan Gear holster with skill haste and status effects

My question would be

The Eclipse Protocol backpack as the "Symptom Aggravator" talents, and it's amplifies all damage you dear to status affected targets by 30%

The amplifies damage, is that also burn damage, or only damage from weapon?

Depends on playstayle. My walking around build is EP with backpack, Vile and golan gloves with status effect and skill haste (blue core rolled to yellow) and fire spec for 20% longer burn. For legendaries, when foaming i use creeping death.

Generally speaking, when you have EP back, you deal more damage so u spread statuses more easier but don't have initial spread. Try both and use whichever you like better

Raids are unlocked you just need people to do them with... Check help sections and look for raid builds videos on YT. Usually people look for 50% crit chance and 50% crit damage red core builds and will gladly take new players to show them around...

Go to #td2-build-advice pins and go to the spreadsheet, then go to Weapons exotic tab to get the full list on how to get each one. Though if you’re really new then you can get them from weekly SHD requisition (project) or as random drop. Probably best to focus on story tho.

yeah challenging is a good base difficulty as it removes all purples from the loot pool, and the minimum rolls on stats are higher too

the step from challenging to heroic is quite large, too

bluescreen is the only one (so far) that comes from a manhunt mission - some other exotics are initially locked behind projects or game modes (eg capacitor from Summit)

Eagle Bearer and Ravenous are also raid-locked, and Bighorn is legendary-locked.

all the craftable ones except regulus will enter your general exotic loot pool only after you've collected the parts and crafted them the first time

i run Chatterbox because the point of Striker's is to be aggressive. Chatterbox replenishes some of you ammo on kill and also you get big reload speed buff if enemier are nearby. And the biggest DPS loss in this game are reloads

you are trying to compare bullet damage to dps, which you cannot do as they are 2 different functions.
Also keep in mind the damage numbers shown in your inventory is only base bullet damage + basic weapon damage (no crit, no hsd, no talents/ perks, just basic weapon damage)

also the damage on the right side of inventory is bullet damage (NOT DPS). and for shottys its total damage from all pellets.

to me the dps on shotguns is calculated from the total of rounds hitting a target combined by your crit chance and crit damage you have equip. You can tell this drastically from a full skill build with no red attributes to a full red build.. your crit chance/damage affects each pellet..

I mean, there's really no angle to it other than staying in cover as best as you can and focusing on the objective at hand before smashing everything to clear the area. Had to do it solo on Heroic and it was a sweatstorm so I would understand the frustration.

I have a fairly annoying issue that's happening this patch

I play on pc and after the update, whenever i turn the game off, it creates a phantom "Thedivision2.exe" file that can't be terminated in task manager or by /taskkill'ing it in the command prompt cause it technically doesn't actually exist, yet it prevents the game from loading back up again because "another launcher is already running"

It's happened twice in a row so far and the only way i've managed to fix it is repair the game files each time, which re-downloads 3.9ish gigs of files after the scan

Is this an issue that's ever occured/been documented in the past and has a better solution than preferably wasting 25ish minutes on repairing the game files every time i wanna play

It's weird because the way it works for me is, i verify the game files, the game finds corrupted files and re-downloads 4 gigs, then completely loses the game and prompts me to redownload it (i use the locate installed game feature to find it again), it prompts me to scan and download 4 gigs again and THEN it works fine

So i have to scan, repair and redownload 4 gigs twice to get it working

Do players know you can break the Mini-tanks trax and the Controller will come out and try to fix it? Instead of destroying the tank and then the Controller, just break the trax, kill the controller and let the tank blow up as you strut away. People, you don't have to shoot the tanks after the Bi-Ped-NPC's have died. (Doggo's are the exceptions)

Do players know how to disable Doggo's?
The Sniper Variant's weak spot is next to the barrel as it's about to shoot, doing so makes it Disrupt temporarily.
Mini-Gun Doggo, the Red Ball joints; can even stop its spin attack.
Grenade Doggo, these weak points are the little red lines on the trunk/boot area, and once broke will shock the area for 3 seconds.

Before everyone starts calling me childish and such, please read the whole post. So, we are talking about the "Guide contest". If there is one thing in this world I don't like it is unfairness and I think this contest is exactly that, unfair.

Me personally; I broke my knee last December and started playing Div2 in March. Since then I met alot of awesome people in the division community and made some lasting friendships. I won't lie, I really wanted the figurine to remind me of this time of my life when I was playing like crazy and my baby girl was even born in the meantime. I am certainly not claiming I invented hot water (Croatian saying 😃 ) with the guide I made, but me and several other people put in our time and effort and were not given a chance for our guides to even be put up for voting.

I asked the mods here for clarification why my guide wasn't put up for voting. You guys were quick and told me it is not you but the community team and I applaud you for putting up your time and commitment to moderate our discord channel. Ubi support also said they have nothing to do with it.

The voting itself was supposed to be reactional and members of the channel were supposed to vote (not the „community team“) but couldn't vote for some of the guides even though there was nothing wrong with them, at least not in my opinion and according to the rules.

I think that sums it, it was a contest, but not really...bummer!

this way you can have two pieces with weapon main core to ramp up your weapon damage, especially if you're using a capacitor or a mechanical animal.

There's a bug where your previous loadout is visible to the host. They might be looking at that - not much you can do other than maybe logout with the countdown build and log back in.

Also if you're having connection issues your character won't fully load in and people kick for that since bad connections often drop in the beginning.

There's a solution 🙂 The problem is you're going into that menu right after starting matchmaking.

well right now there is an exp thing going, and several events going, reanimated and dark path apparel event.

I would go out with a decent build, set world difficulty to what you think you can handle, set a few directives to give you a little more exp, and farm the world of convoys, and small things, and skip control points to increase your watch level and get you back into playing and familiar with the game.

you can always go back to summit to farm, it's not going anywhere.

theres a setup with chc and chd prerolled to it in countdown vendor/cassie
you can reroll that to red or keep the armor core

cassie's will be more affordable.
if you can find a setup with both repair and haste rollable to skill tier, even better. another one you can use is setup with hazpro and status (for countdown haz pro cc build)
