yeah its funny. the military likes to pay for contractors to develop new weapons to improve upon the specific shortcomings of its predecessor. and most of them over engineer and come up with a totally WACKY rifle, but the winner of the contract goes to whatever company has the simplest and least changes and not trying to reinvent the wheel

like. the m16 needed to be more accurate so they spent a ton of money developing weird replacements. in the end they just put an optic on the m16 to improve its accuracy and it worked to an insane degree. like 50% more accuracy or something crazy

2: the devs only take feedback from the PTS channels and rarely read any other chat, as other chats arent for feedback.
3:... #division-universe is the lore channel. Possible lore is fanfiction, and that can either be thrown in #division-universe or left on its own, but the peeps down in division universe really like their lore so dont throw anything too out there in there.

Nah I can only see the story going that way, The Division will do it better than (and I've only seen some gameplay of Fallout, didnt play it) a wasteland with walking mannequins.
I don't see us randomly again start with an agent that "just got activated" with gray gear and good intentions...
I really think we start somewhere familiar (probably the White House), chaos breaks out, and we lose everything within minutes.

(If it's possible for the developers to make it that way) we will probably have the same character as in Div2 with the same build/weapons/outfit/mask it has currently equipped and play with that, until arrested by the Hunters.

No more infinity ammo for Drones/Turrets.

If you dont take the "Survive with nothing" part too serious, it is like div1-2. (Only in the finished non-beta version of Hardcore mode it will be that serious)
You start over with nothing as you lost your gear/guns/stash during the ambush (instead of starting with nothing because you just got activated)
You need to get new skills because you got "fired" as a SHD Agent, instead of re-discovering as a new agent.
From there on it's upgrading your Skill perks 5x so they don't break anymore.

Heartland looks more like a "DZ/West Side Pier PvE looter & PvEvP battle Royal" game

wonderful. my cars registration expired because the dmv decided to stop sending physical mail out and i had an old email address on file with them. they only accept online appointments but the website doesn't work. so I finally found a phone number where I could talk to a human being. I was able to renew over the phone. if they want ppl to do everything online, make sure the damn website works.

actually it not that shaky. you can see it coming down from the sky very slowly, its two black spheres revolving around each other slowly descending from the sky. then it stops at whatever altitude, then starts moving 90 degrees from its original trajectory (parallel with the ground/horizon) and while still spinning, moves toward the northeast and didnt stop. i just lost it in the distance

nice! what controller do you use? I've had two Xbox elite series 2, and one turtle beach recon (xbox) controller (which i actually like much better than the elite s2). I used each one for around 4-6 years and never had a bit of drift.

but the elite s2's both slowly fell apart with the rubberized grip peeling off to reveal the like.. 0.001mm thick plastic scaffolding that makes up the inner support structure, which then quickly cracked and shattered to bits. the turtle beach is nice because its got 4 programmable slots for different button layouts and its very easy to re-assign buttons in the controller itself rather than changing the button layout in-game.

I have used a razer wolverine ultimate for about a year and it's wonderful. I wish the tournament version still got stock but unfortunately there's not.

So I got a common drift on the right stick, but talking on the left one, it was a complete disaster. When pressed once to sprint and hold all the way up, it registered like if it was taken down for less than a second and this caused my agent to stop sprinting.
Pretty much every game became tedious because of this issue and even worse when this problem became more and more frequent. Combined with (on the same left stick) a down left drift that not even a high dead zone could help.

Solution was:

WD40. All that just to be solved by a single spray on each joystick.
