yes. as expertise level goes up, you can increase your items to that level. at lvl 10 expertise, you can get your weapons up to +10% damage... armor and skills as well

all the proficiency lvls you have get added together to make your expertise lvl, you can then apply that expertise lvl to proficient (so lvled to 10) items.

The only time I've been forced to walk is in the beginning section of Viewpoint when you have to go through the gate leading into the underground portion.
I'd chalk that up to rendering problems. It wears off by the time to hit the door with the keypad.

Speaking of LMGs and BK. You should put together an LMG build, grab a Stoner LAMG. Slap steady handed on hit, and just play bullet king but with extra steps.
And then you can brag about doing better than people who use bullet king if you're good at the game.

One of the problems with being a dev is the fact that you rarely have the time to properly sit down, play, enjoy, and actually analyze your game.
So when most of the feedback you see is coming from a very vocal and very... unique set of players, it doesn't really turn out well for the other half that actually know what they're talking about.

I don't mind the devs trying to do both PvE and PvP. But the problem lies in the fact that the team clearly can't handle both at the same time.
Instead of wasting time and resources, they ought to just abandon PvP and focus entirely on PvE.
If they want, they can make a Division game where PvP is the sole focus. Which if I'm not mistaken, is what Heartlands was supposed to be anyway.

I'm almost 90% certain that's not going to happen. The higherups in MSV considered both Raids to be failures. The odds of a third Raid are pretty slim. Especially now with Countdown in the mix.

I don't get why they consider them failures, IH is fun.
One of the major problems was a lack of matchmaking. Which sure, Discovery mode has. But no one does Discovery mode seriously. It's a joke difficulty that's only there to "learn the ropes", but that isn't even true because the important mechanics you see in Normal get disabled. Having to gather a full team of 7 other players via third party apps like Discord, Teamspeak, etc. was far more than the casual audience was willing to go. This was the first major nail in the coffin.
The Second was a lack of good rewards. Eagle Bearer, Ravenous, Regulus, and the accompanying Gear Sets weren't exactly great incentives to get players to try the Raids along with the sorts of problems that can happen in them. Which to be fair, incentives wouldn't even be such a big deal if the gameplay itself is fun and enjoyable. Which it is. But it plays literally like anything else in the game but just with added mechanics to follow or you wipe.
Which leads into the third nail. Every Raid so far has been essentially about having as many damage dealers as possible with maybe one or two people running something for support. Basically, it was all just clearing ads and doing sweet FA until it was time to damage the boss. Of which many were just your average DPS check.
Both Raids have essentially offered nothing of value to the game, the rewards were less than appealing, and matchmaking was a chore because it just didn't exist. These three things combined basically killed Raids as concept for MSV. Even if players don't see it that way.

Yes, the developers specifically made only a specific portion of vendors sell the same weapon this time, aside from the weapons that are not that same weapon, like Shield Splinterer, Swap Chain, Baker's Dozen and Surge. But if we indeed take all of those other weapons away, yes, we actually have the devs forcing the same weapon on us specifically to reduce proficiency gain

There are now too many options to be included in every day, so if something isn't available, you can always use Summit/Countdown and select the TL.
