Everyone was rolled back. One of the ways that people got proficiency with weapons gave extra, unintended progress towards your expertise level. The max level for expertise was always meant to be 20, but people were getting as high as 30.

I just got back for the new update and Countdown has been the easiest way to get a lot of gear. You can switch the targeted loot form the main map or once in Countdown.

i saw how buggy the whole Expertise thing already was so i've been donating Countdown loot to it but not actually improving any weapons with it until it gets reports it's all working as intended

But if you read the message from the Devs that was sent out on twitter, which you can see here as well, they intend to give out SHD caches, which will give "some" materials back as compensation, so I highly doubt exotic components will be in the mix.

They said they will be returning materials, they just prefaced that with stating that it likely won't be the exact amount of materials returned. How it exactly works out is left to be seen, but we don't need to assume all those exotic components are just lost.

I mean, farming for exotic components isn't THAT hard, if you've been grinding CD, then you use the CD currency to buy exotic caches. Wash, rinse repeat.

The update rolled back the bugged progress in the expertise system that affected most players.

Just fixed the XP calculations, set you at the expertise level you should be, and gave you some consolation prizes for toughing it out.

Complete non sense that division 2 just knocked back every player in expertise regardless of rank. People under level 20 should not of been effected. I just went from level 5 to level 4. All those resources and Time are now wasted. It’s now hard enough gathering and donating resources to level up. Now you take that hard work away from people that haven’t even gone over the cap. 🤬😡🤬😡🤬

making a 2nd char or more isn't too time consuming, takes about 3-4 hours depending, because you create, start on Warlords, kill Keener and boom, you're good to go. Just know you have to get points for specializations all over again though.

The buffs in CD are random, but if you do a run and activate the close range dmg buff, it increases dmg by 75% I believe.

It's not an issue, because it's been addressed, people got expertise too high then they should have, so it's been dialed back to correct it and capped the expertise level to 20. Honestly, do a lil research before you go complaining.

Countdown is the new "Raid" but it's pretty much 15 min runs, just follow the group you land in with, because it's split into two groups of 4, and just kill shit and survive at the end without being killed, then wait for others to call the chopper to extract, wash, rinse, repeat.

If you were only like Experitse lvl 4-7ish, you probably only lost a level, maybe two, but if you were one of the ones whom went nuts with the grind, or exploited the tombs mission, and got up to 20 or higher, then yeah, you got busted down to where you actually should be.

I think you are just thrown off because the Upgrade number, got shifted to the middle of the item and not the side where it was before the update.

my expertise rank got rolled back this morning from 6 to 4. so all my gear upgrades went back to lvl 4. i noticed the numbers go in the middle instead of left side. since then i played a little bla bla and now this problem happened where everything got to zero..

I honestly agree, when I heard about it on the PTS, I didn't like the sound of it, glitches and bugs aside from there to here and now. More content needs added, being they added NY, they should have expanded NY back to the Div 1 NY and continued on. Revamp some D1 raids or something.

Honestly, I don't really feel sorry for those people. If you went ham or exploited tombs and cranked weapons up to 20 or higher, and invested those mats, then well, you should have known better, considering the history of Div 2 and Div 1.

There'll be compensation but they can't determine the exact number of resources used. You can guarantee they'll be granted a generic cache with some materials and exotic components to offset the heat of the situation but in turn will cause much more frustration when player A who only upgraded 1 item to grade 2 gets the same amount of resourced as a player B who was taken down from 22 to 15 and lost hundreds and thousands of materials. Lol

I didn't exploit anything myself and went from 14 to 11. Eagle bearer from 12 down to 5. It is what it is.
