Just tested it and it does work, using bridge park pier spawn (as long as you don't get an activity in that location). This was without engaging the group or being spotted by them.

is anyone else having an issue with their dualshock 5 controller after the update? ive never had issues nor had to use steam input, but after the update, its like turbo mode is on. it will constantly input LT over and over if i hold it, and even tapping it inputs it like 5 times in a split second. steam input fixes it but it changes the button display to xbox and changes some controls which isnt the worst but kinda annoying

Bro this is ridiculous, if you die on escalation, you can close the game, reset the router, reset the console/PC and when you choose that agent, you satay dead on that group, on that mission no matter what.

But when you get a single DELTA on descent, the mode is like nah, you failed, reset that.

I'm sorry but that logic is just kinda stupid to not work on descent aswell back in the day.

Even if you don't get a delta, you get one of 50 random bugs and run fails on loop 39.

People asked for them to add checkpoints a million times. But since descent was coded by some other team, they are clueless how to change it.

As a matter of fact, on release you could at least rejoin friends. But it was giving a lot of xp each time. So obviously instead of fixing xp gains, they have disabled ability to rejoin.

And the best part, after the last guy of the group wasting 25 minutes of the group's time killing the rogues at T5, one of the rogues just disappeared because of the draw distance, then we got softlocked on the "kill rogue agents" objective. And we had to leave the group.

Agree with your theory; escalation may be bypassing the usual gate that prevents skipping the story mission, which is usually required, before being able to do higher difficulties, leading to the loot table being either the story mission or just random drops, with no targeted drops. Certainly makes sense, even if it's not entirely obvious or intuitive.

Easiest way to know; check if the mission can be done with targeted loot via the map, eg challenging or heroic, if it's locked to the story then that could easily be the issue.

Also, and I mean this with kindness, not judgement - free up some space, even temporarily. Store some builds to stash, you can pull them out again once you're done. Being completely full, or almost full, puts gear at risk for not a lot of good reason, especially if you are in a safe zone with the stash nearby.

No. You can't re-run wony missions on heroic, for example, with targeted loot unless the story mission is done. That is very likely to be the cause for no striker drops for some doing the escalation version.

PVP is either conflict or pvpve in darkzone. The latter is getting a rework for next season which may help it becomes more popular.

DZ: toxicity, talent unbalances (this will change next season), but also a lot empty servers sometimes and not real reward for the risk of being killed by other players. (DZ exclusive items can be obtained in other ways.)

Gear can be shared for an hour, mission loot stays for no more than 30 mins. So no. It's more likely that no targeted loot dropped at all. Getting the story mission done should fix future escalations however.

Technically the game shouldn't let people escalate a mission they have yet to run at all (if it followed the non-escalation behaviour); however, given originally there was no targeted loot, it likely never came up as a potential thing to solve, as it would not have mattered.

To be fair, and I will be kind, some of it is due to people not often running WONY missions, which do seem to be a little more challenging than Washington. The current Striker mission has quite a high NPC count. It just helps if people actually run a decent build that is either heals or very high damage output.

completing the 'wall street' mission as part of the WONY story appears to be the requirement for proto drops, as they are targeted loot, and one has to clear the story for any mission for that matter to gain access to higher difficulties and targeted loot.

The Libary gives you “storage” for stats you want until you get “god rolls” but when you want to use a certain stat you recalibrate it but it’ll only let you recalibrate that one stat if you do

Optimization lets you make your stats better but cost by unenabling it to be recalibrated but can be improved if it has a orange arrow underneath the stat

Normal is the full raid, all mechanics on at a base difficulty & no matchmaking. Discovery is the same layout, but some mechanics are simplified, there is matchmaking, and easier difficuly.
