Strikers is over played, no new skills, nobody really uses signature weapons, they're basically weaker than the named weapons, all the skills need some love instead of dropping cosmetics and new gear sets that get swamped out as soon as they are figured out, give me a mortar tube as new signature skill, an RPG, a grapple, melee weapons, a attack dog, a airstrike, give us a shoulder cannon, a skateboard or some heelies, executions, let the grenades be free for all signature builds.

also we've had new seasonal skill variants and at this point they cant add something new without it being "what if it was purple" or an entirely new skill, and admittedly the latter is possible with the central park dlc
every signature weapon has its usecase the devs just dont give anything except the tac50 and crossbow a place to shine in endgame content
strikers is overused because its braindead dps, other sets can outperform it and better players use their preferred one of those instead

I'd recommend retal because you get a named cache at the end if completed on heroic while also getting broken SHD watches to buy reconstructed caches for the blueprints

Retaliations guarantee you a named item cache as well plus you can farm its blueprint which benefits you the most. Getting one to drop is rare, even more so with the right attributes you want

Once you get its crafting blueprint you can craft it until you get the roll you want

However we have been discussing and none of us have seen a gear-set piece drop as prototype, only brand sets and weapon. I think they have (either intentionally or unintentionally) not included gear sets in prototype loot pool.
