you just anger the hyenas via hyena activies/missions/stronghold then you have them at 100%. make sure you have gloves target loot (incase one decides to be nice and drop a pair for you) and get a kill squad that drops the blueprint as well 😹

you dismantle gears/weapons to pull stats off it to put in a library so you can infinitely put that stat on other gears and weapons. whatever you have in your library is as high as your stat will optimize to. we typically tell people to get the chest/backpack/weapon with the corrrect attributes on it and change the talent through Recalibration which allows you to do 1 stat like this as many times as you want. so talents is highly advisable so you don't have to farm another item to change talents on it

Even with directives enabled, it really shouldn't be that difficult.

The biggest problem is the Marauder shooting a missile to the side of the cover you're poking out of, which will actually connect, as opposed to enemies who just shoot the wall next to you or off to the side.

Belstone is a normal Brand item.

However, neither the BPs, nor the materials show up at the bench for the level 8 character. Is the level 8 character too low to see it or what am I missing here?

Endgoal for everyone is obviously vary but for most getting expertise to level 30 and eventually Prototype Gear in the next season.

Its basically an endgame progression like expertise which going to appear next week. Though the requirements in-general has been reduced for new/returning players to catch up. Of course some are against this idea but it has to happen one way or another.

Take it from someone who played thousands of hours of grinding games like War Thunder and Enlisted.

Still crashing anytime i get anywhere near the James Dragov and Javier Kajika quest chains in New York DLC. You don't "farm" expertise, it's a system where you can add ranks once something is Proficient.

You can level up a proficiency with Printer Filament material, that means leveling up proficiency is easier.

What they're reducing heavily is the cost to add Expertise levels to something once it's been made Proficient.

Let's make it nice and clear, just to avoid confusion.
so to make an item "Proficient", you have to donate copies of it, or materials, until it reaches Level 10 of Profiency, which is the maximum rank it can go to.
Once an item is at Level 10, you can start to add Expertise Levels to it.

We occasionally have "proficiency events" on, where the gains from donating are much better, so I'd suggest waiting for one of those to really knuckle down on the farming.

Countdown+buy caches is really good, so are Priority Objectives that reward an Exotic Component.
there's an Expertise event on right now that gives you double Exotic Components from breaking down Exotics.

Correct yeah, but the event with the double-exo comps has started.
Countdown is still decent, Retaliation is good, but the exo drop rates are a little low since there's no guaranteed reward outside of Heroic, I think.

Just give Prio Objectives a go, you'll be shocked at how fast they can be, and when your RNG goes bad and you can't get any good choices, there's always other stuff.

They are earned by killing named faction bosses, completing high-difficulty Control Points, and via bounties. They can also be crafted at the bench after acquiring specific blueprints or bought via optimization caches.
