E.g. Cham+HF is a popular combo, despite it not getting the SMG buff at all. (as it's counted as an AR).

@shadow plank Nope! "Rifle" just means rifles, where as AR's only get buffed by "assault rifle" damage.
Oh and "marksman rifles" (MMR) don't get buffed by "rifle" either, as they're another weapon type.

It's confusing at first, but you get used to it after a while. The spreadsheet has all the info on the different types, if you're ever unsure.

There is a weird functionallity with Rifles that I have found though where if you are getting wild spread and massive bloom while firing just let up on trigger and hold again and the Rifle will stabilize

in PvE it's....fine for mid-end game, but deep you're gonna want something better.

I am using my Eagle Bearer on a 6 Red Core Striker build with Perfect Obliterate and Perfect Bloodsucker that is really strong.

@keen kayak That is actually a known thing with guns in div2, it's what we refer to as "Accuracy" as a stat. Or "reticule bloom".
It's why so many builds that utilise slower firing-auto precision weapons take Weapon Handling, which gives that as a stat.

1% in WH gives 1% in Accuracy/Stability/Reload/Swap-speed.

So if you have a full inventory and you open a winter cache and get an EB for example, the EB will drop at your feet, now delete an item in your full inventory and pick up the EB, now this will allow you to share the EB with whoever was playing with you in your session, and vice-versa. 😉

Is Chatterbox a good SMG? I got it from the winter cache and I've been having quite a lot of fun with it. Especially with my Hunter's Fury set which increases SMG damage. It has the talent where rate of fire is increased depending on the hostiles within 15m, and refills ammo per kill.

Tarkov focuses on making the game as realistic and punishing as possible. Your character has several different stats that need to be maintained throughout the game. Each having different effects on you.

Ammo and weapons are scarce, often fought for and rarely good.

Weapons need maintenance to keep them performing.

Survival aspects are necessary to survival and ultimately extraction.

It's by a long way the most punishing game ever created.

Never said it would be quick to farm a godroll, you just need to keep an eye out for one with crit stats in the 2 attribute slots, so you can tweak the Talent.
div2 is a long-term farming game, you will be using that piece in a lot of builds, so it's well worth putting in the effort to get one.
