I wanted to ask some build advice. So currently i have a pve armor focused build i built for the summit no armor break ascent challenge, about 1.4-1.5m armor tho i wanted to do a proper one. i have a few heart breaker, about 3-4 pieces. I was playing with a group last night and they were smoking enemies and i was struggling. On the armor build, the fps is pretty low, about 80k i think, the dps one i used had it like 100k something total so its also rather low. My shd level is low, about 6 i think? Its a new character i made a few months back when i wanted to start over with a new character look, as i normally do replays on hardcore. Any advice on builds? like do you focus on cores, attributes or is item stats more important?

Honestly, the way AI reacts in this game is kinda great, there's a lot of little touches if you pay attention.

Something i don't get. So the hunters are essentially there to take out rogue agents, but they weren't deployed against keener nor the first wave, but they get sent after you despite you not being rogue but still on mission. It seems a lore pothole that don't add up. You can say however that the Hunter in D1 Survival is there to take out Division agents, maybe they were lied to and told you were part of keener's group & maybe another reason why they go after you after causing issues for the deep state group that Black Tusk is working for that is trying to get rid of opposition to take control of office

I've tried the new gloves, pretty awesome. New sniper is cool but I don't see it being all that practical on the hotshot meta besides 1 tapping a hunter. Too niche. Not terrible, but too specific of a usage. Tipping and Bullet king is fun but the stacks go away a bit too fast. I went back to striker in the end. Then to PvP. Gave up after that and have been on other games in the past month. Hit or miss logging in on Div. Was hoping something would be worth logging in for

Shroud is pretty good. Finally Nemesis has a replacement... For PvE. Us PvPers get no new toys besides the Tempest. And I've neglected to even bother going for that just to try it in PvE and PvP

Sniper hits for dummy numbers and shroud is definitely on top now for overall damage. Was hoping shroud would work in pvp but that never was the case. Overdogs don't even work either. I've gone up against a few Tempest builds in pvp but that wasn't anything riot foam of a sticky bomb couldn't fix

I do need SHD levels so whenever the next XP event is, I'll for sure log in for that

I can say this, i’ve extracted a couple times and when switching from 0-30 to 31-40, 31-40 shows 0% while 0-30 shows 2%.

i use them on nego mostly and it allows you to transfer that higher damage to marks, damage is condition on the target so your marks can be all high rank, as long as your target is low rank you melt everything

it can be. you need to make sure you are marking targets tho. crits mark targets and thats how you get the higher damage. if you are running into single targets only then striker is better suited. you rarely run into single targets outside of raids/incursion so as long as you keep crit marking, youll be doing work. nego frontloads a lot of the damage, and every crit transfers 112% of that crit to the other marks as long as you use the nego bag.

Strikers ramps up pretty quickly in most situations, keeping it at full stacks isn't going to happen all the time but as long as you can get to 75-80% maintained you're doing more than your fair share

Countdown will be faster generally due to sheer volume of drops and the fact you can buy an exotic cache every couple of runs. Priority objectives can also be very time efficient for random exotics.
