it is very situational on the team too.. if the team knows the spawns and their movements which are fairly predictable you will be ok.. but if not, you will not have a great time

I found that if you create countdown people join a lot slower but if you select option to join countdown session it's usually instananeous. Also, if you do host, don't forget to hit FIND MORE AGENTS option. Just creating countdown doesnt' really start to look for players. Just something to keep in mind and easy to miss.

yeah.. my legendary striker that works is like this:
Coyote's Mask (to give a boost to my teammates and myself)
Striker bag (goes from 65% damage to 90%), striker chest (doubles the set bonus with double stacks)
striker gloves and holster
palisade kneepads
I run 3 blue cores + 2 protection from elites mods
it works really well and deals with damage fine.. You are at about 1.3m armor which will not save you but it will make you not get one tapped.

Palisade I use since I use gunner, so I can get 20% armor on kill. most people use similar setup btw for legendary.

that's a good general striker chest for sure.. for legendary you definitely want damage.. what you kill faster can't hurt you. Now, that Palisade is a "unicorn" type of chest..

And keep this in mind, Obliterate is used by most for a simple reason it's always available on tap on crit hits. So it's a damage that's always on tap.

Intimidate does more damage but comes with a few caveats. First, you have to be within 10 meters of enemies and in legendary you won't like being that close in most cases. Second, Intimidate procs on bonus armor after 9 secs for max damage, so you also have to have something that generates bonus armor to take advantage of it.

In general, intimidate is very strong, it is actually multiplicative damage onto itself, so every percent of increase of damage is multiplying with the previous one. It's not just simple 36% in damage which makes it one of the highest damage talents but as I said, it's very circumstantial.

you can also try the striker build I run without seasonal modifiers.

Chatterbox, Striker (mask, chest, gloves, holster), Palisade kneedpads Armor/CHC/CHD, 4 armor cores and memento. You can replace Chest with Intimidate and your palisade chest, and use striker knees instead.

This is a pure run and gun build with huge bonus armor as you will be at about 1.7-1.8m armor. Every trophy from memento you pick up will give you huge amount of bonus armor and once fully stacked memento gives you 30% weapon damage, skill efficiency (for the shield), armor regen.

Chatterbox gets procc-ed to insane levels when you run into a group of enemies so the damage it puts out FAST is insane. I run striker chest because with this setup Chatterbox fills up 200 stacks of Striker very very fast. But intimidate is also ideal becuase you will be within 10 meters anyways to pick up trophies for memento and boost to damage.

So you can try to make that type of build if you like run and gun CQC playstyle. I love it personally.

even though nemesis is a project/quest with invaded missions, there is a chance to get the blueprint from one of the elites in invaded version of zoo thus bypassing the whole invaded missions parts of the project since then nemesis goes into your pool so it can drop. Otherwise you would have remembered as you craft Nemesis when you have all the parts.

most DPS PvE setups are just all red, whereas PvP ones often have a few blues in there, again depending on the build.

The main missions have fixed xp rewards on story difficulty, while xp from side missions, projects and other activities scale with your level. It's best to do the main missions as soon as you reach their level, and use other sources when the next main mission is out of your reach

If you have a lot of shd/cash to spare you can use cash to buy 20/per proficient for each weapon model/named items from vendors weekly. Don't do brands/gear this way as its 100/per proficient.
Also craft 20per of items you have excess mats for. Improvised items are noted as the only way to get is crafting. Just make sure to save the good rolled improvised and kill 2 birds with 1 stone

I have a question: Is division2 supposed to be this easy? I am level 36, and I am running around with a level 33 p90 and all I do is shoot at enemies that are so easy I dont even have to use cover. Only very rarely there is a heavy character that forces me to use cover.

I dont optimize my gear and I only update the stuff I wear every 5 levels.
I remeber division1 being harder

leveling up with the random weapons helps you in finding the type you like to run with as well

Testing my own theory and the lvl 40 boost is just broken, the only way to boost to 40 is by starting BfB, and then you can't leave Brooklyn until you've completed the whole starting mission and reached the bridge settlement, which takes a while.
