Basically, stretch goals are back. Lexington and turmoil are back. Lex has 3% drop chance, turmoil 1%. 50/50 chance at pulling bonus item from a cache, IF you haven't gotten the new apparel from it yet. After you collect all the apparel, drop chance goes from 50/50 to just 10%. Named item rates stay the same

It's not tied to the DLC. It was an event for helping newbies with the shepherd level system. Ever since they released the end game available to all players, you don't really need the DLC for any of the items. The only exception to that rule would be the catalyst mask from Brooklyn DLC

Based off of the road maps that they have given us, it appears so. We have survival coming back, which could be pretty good. However though, if they plan on releasing a PVP version, I see it being a big problem. The problem not being survival itself, but instead the lack of bans on cheaters

I'm very excited for survival. A lot of people like the PVE version of it, and a lot of people like the PVP version of it. There was a hardcore fan base of the mode for both versions. However though, PVE cheaters aren't exactly going to ruin it. For the people that like to do PVP though, that's the whole experience: experiencing other players. And if other players are cheating and ruining the experience, well, I don't see much of an audience there that will be sticking around

The only thing that we all can do and hope is that when they release the mode, they will have at least some members overseeing cheating and maybe just maybe this cheater epidemic on this game will be fixed. I think that's what all of us want, especially for both sides on PVE and PVP

The cycle goes:

Make new char, do first mission, boost to 40, buy material share blueprint, complete weekly shd requesition project, delete character and repeat

Im not recommending it and advise against it but just giving the option

The only real issue are Protective Fabric and Receiver Components. But like most players with high SHD levels, a few CD runs with either weapon or chest targeted loot make those materials a trivial thing because you can just redeem ceramics and electronics each time you run out.

The xp reward is only for shd level not stretch goals. So you can take any (e credits, exotics etc etc)

I don't think that's correct from my experience.. XP prios give you extra seasonal XP for stretch goals.. i.e. you get Tidal for example 730 for regular heroic run + XP Prio gives you another 930.. so you get double stretch goals XP. That's how I'm 258.. I've been doing it since the start.

To clarify.. you don't NEED prios to farm stretch goals because each missions/stronghold/activity gives you seasonal xp anyways.. but prios give you extra.

I will measure how much seasonal XP it gives you if it's e-credits. But from what I've seen, on my levels, it doesn't give me seasonal XP.. the mission ITSELF will give you let's 400-500 seasonal XP (regardless whether or not it's prio or NOT). So you can go do any missions or stronghold or activities without prios and you will still progress but if you do XP Prio, you will see the Seasonal XP amount.

86 crates though with no bonus drop is, as mentioned, astronomically low. It's hard to believe. You would have almost certainly gotten patches or vanity items. The highest I had it in like 260 levels is 12 without bonus drop and that was extremely rare and when I already got all vanity items. If that's the case something is definitely wrong with your account. The drop chances for specific items are not great but not getting any bonuses in 86 summer crates is definitely something that should drop.

it's not mind blowing or game breaking. I personally like it and it's probably one of the top ARs in the game but it's nothing that you can say is "overpowered". Many people still prefer St. Elmos. Lexington has great handling, and minor buff to base damage over other ARs as it's "named" attribute is weapon damage.

For all those still voicing theit discontent with the drop chances on these Summer Caches, RogueGold has confirmed in a live stream that he has told the developers that the chance % is abysmal and that the loot pool is diluted. His suggestion would be that they need to increase the drop % a good amount more. Not too much, but enough to increase the odds of getting the exclusives. But not enough for it to be a handout. He also suggested a pity system, where every 50 levels or so, it'll grant you a token and you go speak to some sort of vendor and pick up your item you want. He also made it perfectly clear that he can give that feedback, the devs can choose to ignore it

All we can do is hope that they have considered our concerns and will make changes moving forward. But yes, they are very aware of our feedback and concerns. As RG said, it's up to them to decide 🤷‍♀️

However, a good number of the game is Solo players. Even tho it's a group play game. The interaction entirely depends on the communities you follow

a lot of kill based talents, that don't work good in groups, if you can't get the finishing blows
so we have weirdly designed elements, some work good for groups and some don't and you can't use them same build for different content or solo/group stuff
this is similar to pre-gear 2.0, where you had to stack damage to elites and couldn't use the build anywhere else than pve

now keep in mind the first season no journey and scout goals were shared ... this was feedback that came from players and they added it in the 2nd journey season (still forgot black tusk named enemies, but all good)
and yet here we are, priority objectives ...

Having Prio's count for a group would be interesting, but for right now, the solution to doing them quickly is to just "call for backup", chances are someone else who needs that objective is looking right now, with how small the popular rotation of them is.

Matchmaking on Strongholds is also working quite quickly as-of late, I've not had to wait more than 30 seconds to start a Tidal since this event started.

The issue is that you have 3 dice rolls with 2 of them being really low. There wouldn't be this outrage if the inital 10% chance of bonus loot was significantly higher or didn't exist.

Imo guarantee bonus loot and add a genshin esque pity system. After x caches without a pool being activated it force activates it

The thing with this game is it is an addiction, and not as microtransactiony as Destiny, which is nearly dead, and the open world has a crazy level of environmental design that holds up after 7 bleeding years!
