In order to almost guarantee a lex, on mathematical probability, you need to open 151 caches. With each seperate opening providing a seperate 3% chance, that gives you a 99% chance at obtaining one.

The fact you're complaining after just 20 caches, to me, is insane.

Named items either have a perfect talent or a stat boost, and afaik the stretch goals will be coming back since people like them. Iirc lexington is a 3% drop chance and on the higher end of crate items. Once you get all cosmetics too there is a smaller pool of possible extras but i believe they roll a different slot per crate

If you don't make it, I believe cause of the negative backlash, they will give Lexi in loot pool in the next chance. The moment they do that though, the gun will automatically lose all its ''royalty''. Not because it's the best AR in game, but it's sth some people missed and they can' t have it.

this is the major issue I have with it all.. I don't mind having long time players received it the way they did.. it's a thank you for playing the game.. and I also think we should not get the skins they deserved to have for it too.. they are special as well.. but since they decided to bring it back and give it to people, watering down Stretch Goals with like 15 loot groups is at this point kind of silly.

Something for them to note for next time. This is too much. I'm almost 40 stretch goals levels in and I only got like 1 pakhan, 1 chatterbox and rest are patches and vanity. Kind of silly. I don't mind grinding, I just think the pool is too large for this event.

what I understood is that it was kind of an event as a veterans reward I believe.. but you are right, even that wasn't great because I'm sure there were players who played for years and maybe if they missed that event and weren't playing or were taking a break wouldn't have gotten it. That must have sucked.

In general, I don't really hate it either way, it is what it is, it was before I was playing the game, but in general having a gun in a shooter game that is kind of better than others (and people can argue - "oh mine is in the stash", or "oh it's not that great" etc is not an argument). The gun IS arguably one of the best guns in the game and having a lot of these things behind events definitely makes people pissed because of FOMO..

Just make these guns attainable through projects, longer quests etc etc.. like regulus, like nemesis etc.. I wouldn't mind that.. even if it's more involving, but just being based on rng luck is not a great way to go about it. Give away special skins, special patches, special effects on skills or guns for those things.

Building my own game and working on these type of games in general is something I never liked. Make the engagement in the game roll with something to chase through experience and action, not rng alone and timed rng too. Literally nobody likes fomo.
