there is a way to 'farm' them, but it takes a little bit of setting up: you need a summit checkpoint on a non-boss floor, take a look through the floor and if it's got a door you have to open in order to reach the next floor, then it's a suitable one for rogues to spawn. Then just fast travel to lobby and back to floor repeatedly until you get the 'rogue agents detected' notification

Try to find out what kind of weapon suites you the most.
Then start upgrading this weapon. I use one standard build from day 1 Assault / Smg basses on weapon, health, armor, Weakpoint, Critical hit damage and i only change outfit if mission asks for it or it's better for some challenges

So many people demand survival in TD2 but no one is really thinking the point of survival in TD1 was getting warm clothes, foods, drinks, temporary stopping the virus and really good gears fighting enemies at landmarks.
Washington isnt cold, drinks & foods dont serve purpose, meh survival cache rewards (even in TD1, only is useful for Global Event openings) so how you would make survival being in TD2 then?
There should be purpose of making survival useful.

For me is the opposite. Story went really downhill after TD1.
Thought they would make story better but they made into purest grind and requires you to do stuffs so you can play normally the missions.

After 30 rank and good gears youre playing normally.
Every mission should be like Falcon Lost at Challenging.

Yeah but the biggest annoyance is story missions should be balanced.
Youre forced doing boring stuffs to get to that level then play normally.
When i got to 30 and had good gears, every mission felt being normal even at challenging.
If i want grind, i would play Underground.
Mission stories is importance, grindfest is 2ndary.
Once youre done with the story then play every mission like underground instead of being forced doing the tasks like connecting satellites for 20th time and defending the supplies just to can play that mission thats that level.

Max level is 286 and max stat is creating or getting randomly drops of upgrades on weapons.
I enjoy having the house with hurried and responsive. Really makes game fun.

I like everything about the challenge of heroic, except for soloing missions because you always restart from the very beginning if you slip up*. I get it, and so I'll do everything heroic but drop to challenging when I'm doing farming runs. I kinda wish there was a way to get like, something in between challenging and heroic. For example i have nomad build in TD1, i always used Nomad build even in pvp.
People usually recommend Striker and Alpha but im just a casual player. Not a hardcore player.
Im already seeing how stressed they are when theyre doing speedruns on yt.
The fast mouse movements and jumpings shows.
As for the weapons youve mentioned, completely understand.
Heck, theres even people caring for mask collections that they get all of them just to never wear them.
Even in reality, whatever collection they going for.
Game never forced me of having different build for getting trophies.
Makes game easier with nomad build and the house/lightweight m4.

Any weapon of that category can be reconfigured to have a library talent

But if you were to change an attribute (weapon wise) you can't change the talent

When you go to recalibrate or optimize stats, you are only able to apply attributes / cores / talents which are in your library. That's the point of adding them to the library, it makes them available for use when tinkering gear. The value of the attr / core will be limited to the max you've added to your library.

If you wanna apply a library talent to a weapon, go into the weapon list menu in your inventory and then press tinker

Though, people suggest doing countdown, since you can change the loot preference to what you want

Countdown is 8 players, as long as you bring a decent build and are contributing you'll be fine

Its multiple objectives under timed pressure, I recommend Challenging since you'll be doing it with randoms

Matchmakes in a similar way to the raids

Loot efficiency wise countdown is better for your time

countdown is also 15 minutes per playthrough, while Summit is a loop of 100 floors to progress through.
