your only route right now is Striker magic as @small spear says.. get the backpack, holster and mask and kneepads (or gloves) and slap on obliterate talent on your chest and with weapon damage and crit chance/crit damage, farm for a decent AR and you'll be blasting like i did. later you can try out other builds.

Special ammo and Scavenged Skills are swapped 90% of the time I've found. So don't pick Special Ammo if you don't want Scavenged Skills active. Sometimes the UI can still bug out and show your cooldowns as the green ticket icons, but this is just a visual bug. Your skills still come off cooldown like normal, you just can't see the numerical timer.

Hi, after starting the New York DLC to early (I hadn't finished everything (e.g. my bounty was on 85% but all were closed / and not all side missions completed, so only 90% but also all closed)... Even when I was a little disappointed (4 days no reaction on my ticket), I started a new (2.) character. When I activate the first classified assignment, the trophies (Comms) were 0/4 and the bagpack trophies was 1/1. But when I run through the assignment, there were no collectables (Comms). When I switch to the old character it shows 4/4 and 1/1... Is this normal?

so it grew on me a bit.. the issue i have is lack of reward relative to the amount of time you invest in running it (and I'm talking just to get to nemesis), and with one death you are done after playing for an hour and you get nothing for it. On top of it all, the money to upgrade stuff and make it meaningful is also fairly low. I'm not saying massive buff to credits you get while in loops, but a bit of a buff to it so I can actually take advantage of making the build would do much more in incentivizing me to play it more.

as is, I can really just play it as one go, and that's it. If i die, I'm out and back to playing stuff that actually rewards me I guess.

You need to unlock the permanent boosts to currency and stuff. After that having credits to unlock stuff or even reroll isn't too much of an issue.

Its one of the first things I did when coming back after a 6 year hiatus, but, it came to me as a complete surprise. Had no idea what state the game was in or what they've added. I liked the idea of having a mode where gear etc didn't matter (later found out about all the bonuses you can get..)since I was obviously far behind. The first time experience was great (it was probably even more fun because I hadn't played division for so long, and always loved the games gunplay) but I feel like it does get kind of stale after playing it a couple times.

True but that's because originally seasons and level 40 etc. were WONY-exclusive content. Now that seasons and level 40 have been made part of the base game, in theory paid content like WONY and Brooklyn DLC can never really be used for seasonal content, as not every player will own them. And because seasons are the main focus, it doesn't instill much confidence Brooklyn won't just be left in the dust afterwards. I'm sure it will get some priority objectives and some other minor incentives, but will likely follow the same path as WONY.

Brooklyn does have some nice things tho. For example the offsite main missions. Not only does it mean they can be more creative design wise. But also, and they probably never thought of it, they could bring back missions sites from the division 1 without returning the entire map.

Yep, it's right before the last boss. I destroy all 3 in the area and then it says something about back up generator and sets another timer for the rockets to launch. I shoot the red thing on the launcher and the timer is still going and it fails the objective at the end of the timer

I always thought cleaner AK-47's would make for a good exotic. 30 round mag but a underbarrel flamethrower. Ofcourse not as strong as the spec weapon that would be busted. Problem would be the ammo and how to obtain it. Max ammo would probably be 50 in a mag but overall idk. Also Ig drops on kills could be how to obtain it. But generate overtime could work if it wasn't that strong. Like 2 tier 2 flameturret damage.

There is a trick, at least for reward track caches, if you already have full inv (20 caches) then anything left not claimed will dump into you're mailbox. I'm not 100 if this is true with project rewards but it's possible.

Fun fact: the version you played pre-patch was actually an easier version than originally intended.

On Summit's launch, there was no difficulty select, and it scaled via floor. So the final set of floors was always Legendary.
Add on the small fact that Hunters also didn't scale via group+1, and were always spawned in at 7.

It was great for farming Bighorn, as that's 6 chances at the gun, instead of the usual 4 in a full team.

it's jsut your build.. I have went from Challenging to Heroic with ease just by optimizing my gear and running Striker. The only one thing that made it easier was getting St.Elmos and Chameleon. The rest was literally setting up Striker, getting solid rolls with crit damage, crit chance, and putting obliterate on chest and it was easy to jump to heroic.

I ran challenging for a while though.. I was running striker but I was still inexperienced and ran bag and chest (bag with Bloodsucker talent and Chest with Glass cannon).. which was a problem as you take 50% more damage. And bloodsucker was kind of a waste, considering when you level up gunner spec you get 10% armor on kill anyways. So I repurposed my gear, I started using the striker bag (didn't have memento exotic at the time) and rolled crit damage, crit chance everywhere i could.. I then put Palisade chest piece for some extra armor and used Obliterate talent instead of glass cannon. I also switched to reviver + shield

This made heroic become cake. Though, even now, where I'm vaporizing everything on heroic with a bit of a boost to expertise and the watch, you will still go down. The game is made purposely this way. Unless you are strategic in movement and aware always where you can take cover, you will do go down. But Heroic will be easy to kill and run that's for sure.
