The amount of work required to implement something like this would also be easier than implementing a new difficulty.

For the stage your at in the end game, I wouldnt worry about the expertise system at all. Just let it naturally go up over time, but its a very low priority, basically just something to work on when youve done literally everything else.

For the coyotes mask (and exotics in general) you can reroll them at the crafting station. The rolls will be rng, so it could come out completely maxed or lower than before, at the cost of exotic components. Since yours is already low then theres very little risk. If it comes out close to max, then you can optimize it to max it if you want to later.

For where your at though, just get a good idea of what the builds you want to put together need, and start working on gear that has the correct rolls, thats whats most important first, not just max/high rolls of random things

Probably easiest on one of the control points that has a mounted gun, eg fallen cranes or navy plaza. If you let yourself get killed before finishing the final enemy of the attacking waves, and respawn before the npc can pick you up, you can repeat that stage as many times as you like

@desert briar Assuming you're trying to make a red DPS setup, you're probably better off going Ceska instead of Fenris for that Chest.

If you're talking about Journey 7; yes it's more than possible. Just google up a farming method, and you can pretty much get 3 of the steps done via spamming Lincoln Heroic.

Journey 6: Wall Street.

Activate all the Modifiers you need, put it on Challenging (minimum needed for the Journey) and run it 8 times.
You'll get the flow by the 3rd run-through.

Yes, because it's not 10% AR damage.
weapon type brand/gear bonuses scale based off your damage before you factor in red cores, so Fenris on a full red strikers setup would be closer to a 2-3% increase.
