not really. It's worth if u have a good grp or u go with ur friends if they are xp in legendary

Depends on what your after and what stage of the game your at. Legendary is much slower, so you'll get gear at a lower rate. When your starting out you're really after getting gear with the right rolls first to get builds going. Late game you can optimize your gear so again just getting the correct rolls your looking for is what matters.
The one thing legendary is good for hunting is max roll mods
Outside that it's mostly just for the challenge

re: Hardcore. It is currently in "beta", as it was a passion project for one of the devs.
There is rumoured to be a "look at" coming at some point in the future, but don't hold your breath. For all intents and purposes: it's done.

I really do wish there was a difficulty between challenging and heroic. Because I don't mind the harder fights, or even dying once or twice. But having to completely start over every time you die, that's just not my personal idea of fun 🥴

that's exactly it - the no-checkpoints makes it unfun. So maybe your success rate per wave for challenging is 99%, and on heroic it's just a bit less at 95%, but that's enough to make it completely unviable

Yeah most people take tons of time just to solo their first one but once you got strats in place it becomes quicker and easier everytime.

Still, they could just have made the "No respawn/checkpoints" a separate feature that you could activate, in fact, they could make it an option for any level of difficulty. This would have made room for more variation in play for all of us. Like I wrote, I liked the difficulty of the enemies at that heroic level, it was more on par with my damage output on that particular cha. But the punishment of dying takes the fun out of it for most adventure/casual players.

what exactly are you doing? Countdown is an insane way to get drops. At the end of the day it is 100% RNG but 2-3 runs on challenging will give you enough resources to buy an exotic cache on top of whatever you get dropped from the run itself

Have a carry pull you into boss room on an invaded 5 directive mission, requires 6 completions if you start your character in NY.
Can have multiple people run it and send invites, depending on the weekly invaded mission a solo carry will take 30-40 minutes but with a few people doing missions it could be 15ish

I think the dye issue is related to non gear transmog , the ones applies in apparel menu.
If lost had all striker or any regular gear equipped, swapped loadouts , then went back to the saved version, it should be as it was saved.
That apparel menu gear was jacked up before when you applied it in the inventory menu, becoming sticky, even covering exotics

There's a bug with heroic true sons bounties that always puts them in constitution hall, if you can't find a different faction then try lowering your world difficulty to challenging or below

I must say, I don't quite understand the reasoning behind the annoyance. Equip stuff you haven't maxed proficiency on yet, go get some kills, once it's leveled up move onto the next item types. If it's 2x or 10x the process for you is the same, it only affects how frequently you change items around.
