You just haven’t done it I guess. To find it, go to any gear that’s not maxed. Click on it and then press m to tinker. Then click the non maxed stats and then optimisation is the bottom right tab

Honestly, Countdown being spammed is the best farming method we've ever had in the div franchise. Just set the TL to what you need, put it on Chall, then run it until you get what you need.

Div2 is not a game about getting everytrhing straight away, you're meant to take time to max out your build.

I’ve been using foundry and a couple other pieces as well. It gives me armor and damage, but I can also get repaired in the process.

There’s an exotic backpack that has a park on it called resourceful it’s very helpful. I use that as my fourth piece and it also gives you additional things from the other gear you’re wearing.

it may be worth running one of the perfect precision strike weapons as a backup to cap. there is a funky interaction. once the talent is procced the damage will apply to your skills. slightly more damage than cap delivers at full stacks 😉

yes but not by much. If it's an alt that you intend to play I think it's still better to run WONY. DZ is for watch mules which you just use up all the scavenging points on and then delete and run again.

basically you still need to complete WONY to unlock NYC from "story mode" and unlock all the skills and get all the SHD caches and so on. Might as well do it while you're going to 40 rather than speedrun to 40 and then have to do it anyway

Decon any gun that doesn’t have dtooc (crit chance for lmg’s). And look for matching items that won’t require more than 1 recal to be useful. For instance. A ceska piece with headshot dmg and handling is useless since the brand set is crit based, so you’d want at least one crit rol on there.

No, they got 2 things that make them immune (white aura around them)
1: defender drone, just destroy it
2: they have an unnamed ability that makes them immune to dmg for like 15s. You can't do anything to break their abilities but you can disrupt them so they can't activate it again.

Usually only the "Iron" (DZ named outcast heavy) and the final boss on Lincoln memorial have this ability.

Neither. They're solo (last alive sometimes) and haven't enabled any ability. I even saw an Outcast heavy hammer fight a True Sons heavy machine gunner for like 30 seconds. At no point could I damage either of them.
There is no drone. There is no immunity. It's just no hits even seem to register against them, as if I was shooting a wall without even leaving bullet holes.

Cloaked: When your armor is depleted, nearby enemy skills are disrupted for 10 seconds. Can occur once every 30 seconds.

The smoke itself is just a cosmetic aspect of the exotic. Because it would be a bit funny if a npc takes your armor and suddenly everyone around is like: where did he go? 🤨
