Basically there's the general loot pool with stuff that's available to everybody. Then there's also the stuff that you unlocked, like for example the Nemesis which won't drop until either you complete the project, or someone drops it for you. Either will unlock it for you and make it show up in caches or targeted loot.

Then there are also exclusives that'll never show up in caches or targeted loot, like Eagle Bearer, Ravenous, Regulus, Ouro or Bighorn. They're specific to a certain activity, or dz.

Yes, but at the expense of the backpack talent, which are some of the strongest ones that we have.

If you want an item that gives you all 3 cores in one, but has a worthwhile Talent on it: Memento is incredibly strong.

Yeah. I never knew true patriot backpack gave a 4% boost to the red, white, and blue talent.

Until I scrolled down on its talent and saw that it goes from 8% to 12% which doesn't seem like a lot but Is a huge jump while you actually do use it

I've made my build entirely for enjoyment. I despise the PVP and know I suck at it. So I don't typically partake in it. I know that leaves me out on several good dark zone specific exotics but I just can't stand the sweats who use meta builds and will just obliterate you in seconds. Also I like making people explode into fireworks >:]

As div2 is incredibly "math focused", it's important to get the stats right, otherwise you can work towards a goal in the wrong way, and end up making an awful build.

The drop rate for the Ravenous/EB/Bighorn within the DZ is, and this is not a typo: 0.002%.

So you can pretty much pretend they don't exist within there.

I don't typically use exotics anyways because my favorite weapon category doesn't really have that many or any good ones, so it's not worth grinding for them. If they drop then it's like "Oh cool I got something." Otherwise I don't typically use them.

Like I have a ton of exotics but I just don't like a lot of the designs or functions. Which sucks, because I liked that high quality weapons had somewhat unique designs in the first game but don't in the second one in replacement of exotics.

Exotics in div1 are overall much weaker than in div2, and are pretty much just "guns with an extra stat".

It's why you're limited to one gear and one exotic gun.

My favorite pistol from the first game isn't even in the second either. Centurion the 1911. The only named Colt style handgun is the Mozambique special in D2. Very sadge.

Waiting 2 hours? Given the drop chances in DZ plus the probability of getting ganked, it's far quicker (on average of course) and less toxic to get them from the raids. As for the wait, there are servers that run far more than our own (due to our lack of voice channels), you should be able to find one very quickly once you have a suitable buil

I know they can seem intimidating at first when you fear letting your team down, but once you give them a try and get past that feeling you'll find they're really not that scary

I doubt I ever will have what's considered a suitable build. I'm playing this game to cosplay as whatever I want and shoot people with guns I like. Not become a mathematician to solve the math problems required to get to the moon (seriously there's so many spreadsheets for builds in this game)

All the "meta" builds have been fully worked out, and 99% of them are farmable within Countdown.

Set CD (countdown) to Challenging, set your TL to what you need, and matchmake a group.
Finding one should take you between 30 seconds and 5 minutes, and then you'll end it with 40-50 pieces of loot.

just keep progressing and you will find better stuff naturally

For enemy faction materials, you get them by eliminating enemy bounties and named enemies in missions.

Weapon/armor pieces materials, deconstructing them.

Field Recon Data, you get plenty by doing Control Points at Heroic Difficulty. And for SHD Calibration, either by using your scavenging points in the SHD Watch menu to buy em or getting them from loot caches in Countdown.

i tried a lmg that has low damage and it's pretty strong, and same with a AK M that had low damage, compared to higher damage weapons like shotguns and rifles/ the 11 mag rifles. they both were pretty good. i think the damage counts for single rounds or something, and not dps

Yes, the damage number is per bullet. So you need to factor in rpm aswell as other factors

i just found this out today by accident, but you can shoot blinking red conduits in mission buildings to open doors that lead to more loot and cosmetics like a backpack charm. i'm level 11 and i did it because i did my first blue mission and couldn't figure out how to get a door open till i followed a wire and saw the conduit blinking. not sure if there are other ways to open doors, but the blinking conduits is one way that i learned myself today.

i only say that, because before today i missed lots of doors because i didn't know how to open them. sure there's other ways that don't involve conduits

Daily Season Pass Project - Capital Building mission is broken? I have attempted 4 times and get hard stopped in the Statuary Room every time. Well you need to have both grave and monument in your fov too, so that the distortion triggers when saluting, plus do it in the single night.
Some solutions that worked for other players was completing all bounties from progress tab in the area, doing it with directives off, doing in a specific order starting with the top right one and going clockwise.

The game didn't return "after a year" they immediately began to keep it going from the end of Season 4 in December 2020 but had no long term plans or staffing in place to create the content. Despite us receiving a number of season re runs they were actively developing content and training a new team on the snow drop engine whilst that was happening.

According to both something that was said on a twitch stream and in a tweet from a dev.. they can sustain the number of staff between the studios for division 2 whilst the profit from game sales and mtx outweigh their budget. It's the same with how For Honor has managed it for this long despite it not being a massive front runner for them.

Alongside this -- they NEED to keep pushing content for Division 2 even after the DLC comes out so that interest is maintained for the third game. I still feel like the story will likely go off in a different tangent so that no commitment to lore and story progress from 1 and 2 would be required.
