its the first warhound, after you see them across the water, right? its not an early kill that locks the section, at least not in any time ive cleared the mission in the last 7k hours. its taking too long to kill the warhound that soft locks it... itll go back behind the emp mast, and youll have a short time to destroy it... once it starts moving to the main gate you only have a few more seconds to kill. once it disappears, you are restarting the mission.
if youre getting an early kill lockup , then hold fire a few seconds ezpz.. hound is always moving when i drop a hive and mortars on it

i kinda wonder how many people would be stuck not able to clear something if determined stopped being bugged 😂

you need to level up your overall expertise. if 5 is your current expertise level, thats the highest you can upgrade too

every proficient item adds 10 levels to the number under the large expertise level ( xx/180)

weapons/named/improvised are 20 donated of the specific item per proficient.
crafted weapons and gear can be used, farmed gear from countdown is a good source.

gear and brand sets are 100 donations, any variety type, as long as its the same brand. named dont contribute to brand proficient

you can start by adding secondary weapons and pistols to your loadout and keep the main you preffered weapon, theyll gain passive xp towards proficient

if you are filling up on materials like protective faberic or reciever components those can be directly donated to specific items. use this for skills you hate and exotics/named you dont have access too. and be careful, if you hold the donate material button too long itll wipe out all your mats

The journey itself is underwhelming although a past stream had Yannick the creative director name out a long list of things they intend to change going forward

They said that the journey was designed in a way that tries to educate new players at the same time and it didn't hit the mark because of how seasonal characters were a no go

At the start of the journey I had no idea how to use the modifiers and through the tasks In each journey mission it taught you how to use each active modifier. It was better than just giving us a tutorial but it still felt useless because by the end of this season the idea of "distance" as a way to eliminate enemies will only exist in the gear they've released.

Yes and no, the numbers go up pretty quickly if you treat them as something to do as a bonus to the daily or weekly project missions

But they also lock you into playing solo in order to maximize possible kills that fall under those conditions

With the introduction of scouts it operates differently but for some reason they still tie the opening of the expedition to that event block.

You don't have to know the mission. Just matchmake into Countdown on Challenging. Equip a revive hive, and just follow behind people and shoot the same enemies to tag them and make them drop loot. Most players repeatedly grinding countdown are very experienced and they won't even notice that they're carrying you.

it's not a raid, there's not much coordination involved. Mostly a loot pinata activity

this week is pretty much one of the only times ever when you can get a guaranteed Dark Winter in 15-20 minutes, I don't know why you'd want to go to DZ if you want one today.

For absolutely all the named items: Named Item Caches gives you a random one each time, but the RNG can be a tad rough.

most people are at the lv40 mark which is the max level, you wont find much people matchmaking for the campaign

Prior to any of the server consolidation , dc would be us west , traveling to ny would be us east, consistently.
