Usually, it's based on what the Gear is themed around. E.g. Strikers is about weapon damage, so it has a Red Core.

you definitely need to look in shd tab of the map if it doesnt let you hold m to see the call. if you are really slow getting to the map, the icon does disappear when the call has been answered.

blue exclamation point from friends or clan, these dont give endorsements tho.
blue exclamation with wings if they are anywhere prior to getting an shd watch (lvl 1-39).

According to the picture that they show what you get there is a gun you get with the agent pack it says the gun's name is ruthless but when i googled it they were only talking about getting it if you pre orderd the ultimate edition

It was a pre order bonus way back when the game first came out - but they then added it for purchase at 9.99 in the store. It comes with the ultimate edition. The ruthless is the same as the merciless in terms of the weapon talent, it just has a different appearance. So yes you will get it plus the blueprint to re roll it when you reach 40.

Almost never do. When my clan was active (one year plus ago), I used to post anything worthy out of the vender resets. Eventually, it came to the point where I was suggesting that we should be able to execute the venders because they never had anything of value.

Put a decent build together (hotshot headhunter is an easy choice for levelling) and go farm CPs on heroic 5 directives. Especially during an XP event.
It might sound daunting but with that build, especially if you run Determined on the MMR and stick to outcast CPs and activities, is extremely easy to use and effectively just one-shots every enemy

you can matchmake for challenging countdown to farm the pieces quickly

running lots of lvl 4 CPs will also help fill your blueprint collection

once you have the build together you literally just have to headshot one enemy and you'll be able to body-shot everyone else, including the boss (unless he has a helmet, then you'll need a second shot)

it's cheese that takes almost all the challenge out of the game, but if you don't mind that then go for it (if you do mind, don't use Determined on your weapon so you actually have to keep aiming for headshots)

If you like rifles I would recommend trying out the "aces & 8's " gear set. with the new full auto rifles it really feels good to use at any range.

if you enjoy using Ars/smg and want to be tanky you could use the "striker" gear set and roll the weapon damge to armor

heartbreaker (like a tankier version of striker) and umbra are also both good options for AR mid-range builds. Hunters fury is excellent for up close SMG builds.
