Look into umbra. It's a little bugged atm where if you travel you have to swap a piece off and back on to get the talent stacking, but it seems pretty good for the short time I used it. I have it paired with memento and I was getting decent performance.

I'm sure the bug will get worked out as well. Umbra kinda nice as its regen isnt kill based

I have not seen the live stream but Tux informed us the devs have announced there will be some seasonal apparel to earn. They'll be removing the shock from the modifiers. I believe fixing some bugs, retweaking gear AGAIN. Yan said mostly buffs, regarding gear like true Patriot. MOSTLY he said... I shiver when statements like that get made. I'm fingers crossed legs crossed gonna read the next patch notes eyes crossed for Sys Corr buffs

PvE content it's alright. It's not meant for being the most damaging build in the room. Definitely more tankier. It's not bad in PVP I've found, especially with Pestilence now. I did testing and I can get almost 700k ticks with Pestilence and that's with 1.5m armor

Setting it up to work with rifles as the gear set currently sits, it's just asscheeks. I tried crit based, the damage ramp up is underwhelming. I've thrown everything I could at it. Merciless, Ravenous, Even the vindicator. I tried High end, with a CQB and a Police MK17. Strained, Optimist, Boomerang was best actually. The hardest hitting gun was Merciless and that's a chore to hit targets with

Headshots with rifles, don't even bother. Go hotshot at that point

I even used memento and that still wasn't enough to consider Aces worth it for rifles

Their recoil is clunky. Even point blank full auto is difficult to control. Aces doesn't offer weapon handling like Hotshot does. Why not offer the same bonuses and make rifles work with hotshot?

If you mean the blueprints (BP), you can see their drop location on the right, when you select each thing.
Most are from CP (control points) at Level 3 or 4, equivalent to Challenging/Heroic.

There's no real "quick way" to get most of those, but they aren't meant to be done fast either. In about 3 weeks, there's a 3x XP event on, so that would be an idea time to farm them.

If you get used to go to cover to heal and out to shoot, four Umbra pieces rocks. There is a bug at this point, which disable the main talent when you switch zones most of the times, but the workaround is to go to your inventory, change a gearset piece to anything else and swap back. Even with that pesky bug, you'll get top DPS and armor regeneration when you need it

Legendary summit drops will have higher chance of being dropped since better average stats, but you'll get way more drops in countdown than summit, plus that's easier, so unless you're farming something extremely rare (13% PFE I'm looking at you) then countdown is usually the way

Best way to farm proficient levels?

Varies depending on what you're going for. For regular weapons, run countdown with that type as target loot and donate everything. For named items, buy 20 copies of any on sale at vendors and donate them, or craft & donate if you have the blueprint. For pretty much everything else (regular gearset/brandsets, skills, spec weapons, exotics and DZ-locked named items, etc) use them (if they're good) or donate materials. If you have a lot of shd levels then you can create mules, lvl them to 40 and grab the watch, spend all the scav points on printer filament, donate to level your proficiencies, then delete and repeat.

Any tips for eliminate elite hostiles at long range with prime time? A good location? GCRock said countdown which is an absolutely awful choice unless you are with friends letting you kill the chopper enemies like in tbe video

I was using Brooklyn bridge cp in ny for longrange named kills. As long as you were on heroic it should give a lot of elites as well.
Just use determined hotshot so your 1shot everything and keep resetting controlpoints till you max out on kills. That cp also close to safehouse. Just be mindful of convoys in the area, seem to pop up on that same area.

Just being honest. Legendary vs Heroic are 2 different things.

I can solo DUA Legendary but I can't solo any of the other ones on all reds.

Really good players can solo all of the lgendaries mission with all Reds.

if you want an easier time with full red just run determined headhunter and you can clear 90% of legendary encounters

If they can solo heroics with all red in one-shot without sweating it too much then they can start getting ready for legendary.

Arguably in a group: due to sheer volume: Heroic CD, with a dedicated team, all with the same TL, sharing the one they don't need.
@golden pawn Just making sure you know this: you 100% do not need maxed out mods, 80% of the way is perfectly fine.
Solo? Probably still Countdown, just without a premade. You get a lot of loot in CD, and it scales a little higher than the difficulty you're at, making Heroic closer to "Heroic +1".

If you're not as efficient in CD quite yet/confident to carry: Challenging is still perfectly fine. Due to the scaling, it still does very well, and even a random team will complete it nice and fast, some might even share stuff they don't need.

The bleed effect alone is worth removing, otherwise there's no point in using the gun, just pick something that doesn't have that.

Sheppard rank 25 gets you a commendation. And it’s nice just to help people either with their mission or endorsing them to get the commendation, at the end of the season, you supposedly get a reward as well.

To clarify, endorsements are how to get Sheppard ranks. Can see on the map when you tab to SHD.
