Most Exotics aren't inherently stronger than other guns, it's their talent that makes them unique. In EBs case the damage reduction is great in some cases but the gun isn't as strong as some high end ones like famas

You need to use the weapon in combat and once you reach level 10 or become proficient, you can upgrade the weapon damage based on your expertise level

For now just put all the guns, chests and backpacks that have talents (ie the purple or gold ones) in your backpack, with inventory open, look for the prompt to open tinkering, go to the library tab, then check any sections that show a little green arrow in the corner, you extract stats from there.

Talents are special abilities that are applied to guns, chest pieces and backpacks(and some exceptions) that makes them extraordinary

For gear pieces that have yellow cores (plus one skill tier) you can also extract those now as they're always a max roll. Only need to extract one of each type (mask, holster etc)

@wooden cipher you don’t spawn them, they appear themselves on the DC map. You would need to be thru the Division 2 campaign far enough that the Black Tusk have invaded your world map. Hope this helps!

high end is not rare at lvl 40 but there is a ton of brand/stats to get

so while high end is not rare, the specific item you'll want will be harder to get

Once you reach level 40, on challenging difficulty or above all gear drops are high end, gear set or exotic, so not rare at all

Why are my backpacks all the same skin now even though ive never even applied this ugly ass skin to one single backpack? Even my exotic backpacks are stuck with this skin. I would disagree with this, correct rolls are usually more important than max rolls (even a low dtooc is better than max swap speed for instance) and optimisation exists.
Also don't fall into the trap of keeping stuff just because it has max stats, stash space is far too limited. Only keep stuff that's actually useful in your planned builds.

you don't have to spend them, you can just let them rack up for future situations. You could spend them on printer filament and donate to expertise (pick stuff that's really awkward to earn expertise on normally)

Which new exotic? Strega and Centurions holster are both on the season pass so whatever priority objectives give you season xp. The chestpiece is locked behind the end of season manhunt so just do each week's scouts and wait until they're all released.

It's very precise, has a really nice sound, and does comparable damage to others. I'd say it's two major drawbacks, especially compared to something like St Elmos which is the major rival for it right now, is that it only has 41 ammo vs the 71 of Elmo, and Elmo gets the Electric mag.

And that multiple marks can be placed, so if a bunch of people have the gun, then you're getting a bigger bonus. But I'm also not very smart with the number stuff. Or use decoy and turret to distract NPC but require skill or experience players to carry out the roles or good dps to carry the team as some said they can carry a team with it. IMO, always have 3-4 set of builds just in case the situation; healer( F.I with BTSU) Tank ( bulwark with chest and backpack and a liberty pistol to blow up chunga bp or other) pure dps red build( I personally like striker so striker) and lastly, CC ( P.E backpack require with form chem and jam or form with BTSU to support heal)

If I’m going to level a mule solo I usually do the WONY boost and then unlock the four NY safe houses. You’ll be at level 32.5ish when done then I head to DC
