Btw it's unbelievable that for years random crash caused complications (fortunately, it only happens very rarely for me), but now "something new" comes after every update. Thereā€™s currently a glitch with the season pass, they made it so seasonal xp and regular xp are separated so that the pass is a lot slower to level up, but thereā€™s a bug where random activities will give a very large amount of season xp and allow you to skip a lot of the grind to complete the pass.

u can complete things in NY if u are lucky. But twice i have done journey where u have to take 15 control points in NY AND TWICE IT SAID I HAD SO MANY and then DELTA! then i get back and it says LESS CONTROL POINTS TAKEN. i completed took these cp and opened the supply box. so impossible. what a joke. more things change more things fuuuccck up as usual with these guys.

nothing works, the reversal won't activate when pressing the stupid button sometimes, so can't get that to progress. the journeys say complete on some and then it doesn't after delta. i turned it off. i said this way before. when they put this in it won't work. so now we will repeat the past where they come to fix it and break something else and this pattern will continue for the next couple of years. just irritating and frustrating. not again for me. good luck

If you use a fire chem or environmental explosive (fuel can) you can ignite multiple enemies if they're close together, but it might not last as long

the active modifiers are a bit underwhelming yeah, but some of the passives can provide a lot of strength a lot of the time if you play into them. (Eg 250% amp just for bodyshotting everyone at long range? Or 150% hsd bonus for headshotting everyone at long range if you're a sniper?)

I just finished Camp White Oak mission with a friend, and after completing it I got an exotic called "Pyromaniac".
Saw the red name pop up at the bottom left and all.

Those seasonal modifers are the worst. I spend more time killing myself than the enemy. On second thought, as grindy as this game has become, shooting myself in the head may be a good thing. Even if I turn off the modifiers, if I start a group and others join, the modifers get added if they have them so I'm playing with them wether I like it or not. It may be time to finally uninstall this game.

This is only when reversal is actually active though, you have to activate it manually and it has a relatively short base duration and long cooldown

@lime fulcrum if u are referring to the journey requirement, I got my 200 kills as follows:
Bank mission on normal. First part of mission (lobby). Go up to 2nd cover position. Target npc and activate reversal. Run up to npcs and shoot them (in head if possible as that increases activation of modifier - slightly). I usually get about 6 then rince and repeat. Was a pain but got 200 after an hour. Some parts of journey is more like work than fun!

i wonder why devs pushing people to do them solo when global event's objectives are team shared. journal's objectives should be like global events

My take on this is:
They are trying to get players to be "occupied" with the game over a long period of time, rationalising it by saying that these objectives can be achieved through playing the game rather than cheesing it. Whereas in reality, most agents want to get all this done quickly so some of the activities become a chore (eg 200 kills). Busy work until the DLC drops.

@exotic panther Modifiers can be turned off with no negative effects, except a couple of the Journey steps require it to be active.
Difficulty is 100% separate.
Also in an unrelated note: make sure you try and get to Challenging as quickly as possible, that way enemies will only drop gold/gearset/exotic loot, and you can throw out anything below that.

As long as you have a general dps build, you can matchmake into challenging countdown. Its 8 player matchmaking and pretty easy to carry a couple agents without good builds yet.
Revive hive and shield are your friends, other skills get hacked and used against team.
If you can grab 4 pieces of striker, an ar you'll be doing ok

Countdown is a ton of loot so probably work towards that. You'll be swimming in gear and have a solid way to buy exotic and named caches
