following guns so far are now dead... test subject, scorpio and orborous. the test subject can be replaced with an automatic rifle and put in sync on. twice as strong. bye bye test subject. scorpio stacks last 10s you have 9 rounds to hit with a 7 round mag in 10 secs or less. they put alot of thought in that one. good job. dead talent = dead scorpio. so sad. the orborous-- the loss of the crit dmg is not much but made a world of difference. dark winter is now the champ. use to be 50 percent crit dmg and now 90 percent crit dmg. so why the up on dark winter and lower on the orborous? makes no sense.

If you're looking to farm out Proxy kills, I highly recommend just playing Main Missions. Enemies deploy them all the time, and having Jammer Pulse equipped will make the kills much easier.

It's really good for group content, especially when everyone plays it. It synergies really well and everyone can profit from it and contribute to the marks, without taking away from others. EB for example with the kill condition is flawed in group content, when someone gets "your" kill. Strega doesn't have that issue, enemies often end up with 4 or 5 marks, so 60% to 75% amplified damage.

I was running to Taxi Graveyard for the scout mission and just getting there I hit enemies that take no damage at close range and they charged at me and I was destroyed 🫠. Then after a really prolonged battle at the control point, I realised that there’s no benefit or reward for the modifiers….its just “make the game harder but you get extra damage, sometimes”?

Then I get asked to do 1 loop of Descent. Why only 1? A typical run is 6-8 loops so 1 feels pointless for 280XP?

I think strega+centurion scabbard are bugged.
So when you flip to your pistol, it doesn't toggle the buff.
So when I get the wrong buff on the wrong gun, I instinctively swap to pistol to get the right buff.

Also worth noting if I got 50% more mag, it would keep the mag bonus.
First I thought that was all.
Then the strega kept the long clip, and has a damn near instant reload. I then did this to my artists tool. Sure enough, it got the fire rate, damage, more clip, more reload speed.

So enjoy that bug while you can guys

So it's not sniper 5 directives speed, but honestly just as close.

Just casually playing on challenging for 2 days and 1 on heroic I have already made it past 69

There were people in my clan day 1 who already had it filled out with that status build on normal/hard

Maybe I'm the dense one, but a lot of the seasonal modifiers and the journey objectives don't seem very intuitive, may require some trial and error on your part. modifiers may change how the GAME interprets actions even if they arent visually represented as such. You may have an objective to kill x at short range, and even without using the reversal talent, because of a certain combination of passive talents, you actually only get credit for killing them at long range. and other such things, so TL;DR if youre not getting credit for stuff change your talents up or do the opposite of what the objective says

I am a bit concerned regarding the complexity of the modifiers when realizing the devs and community manager actually said that in this season the modifiers would not be that elaborated to get a start and the hang of it. I am overwhelmed with the active modifiers descriptions, and then for the next season these should be even more complex?! Insanity. No surprise even the game itself deltas out now 😅🫣

If they're that hard for you to understand, you can just turn them off with no real downside to doing so.

You don't actually get a benefit from having them active, outside of damage changes if you use them effectively.

Supply Drops and Warhound Convoys are actually very common spawns, if you know how the systems work.
To get the former to spawn: capture a control point (several near each other is better) and clear the area of activities. That way, Supply Drops start spamming in very frequently.
For the latter: they're on a timer. Just keep an eye as you're doing other stuff.

Seasons 2.0 is so boring without seasonal characters. Was looking forward to that gear grind and watch grind again. Don't see the appeal of being able to plow through seasonal content from the start instead of gradually going through the season as we leveled up our character and got better gear. Devs had a great idea and fumbled hard as hell.

I do think the seasonal characters should've started at SHD level 1 and not force players to go through the 1-40 to unlock the watch. That is pretty pointless. Scale the seasonal leveling requirements to the SHD watch would have been better.

that's what Morty mentioned on Twitter. I believe Morty was the former community manger or something. He motioned the idea was presented too early, not clear enough and that the reveal of seasonal characters should've been close to when the PTS was ready. I just think the concept had great potential for the devs to create unique experience each season, making each season feeling fresh while expanding the game's playerbase beyond what it is now.

Even at least I wish there was an item vedors sold that granted cross progression of characters like with blueprints. So if players wanted to transfer progression, they just buy that from the vendor. I legit would love to start this season from complete sratch, but there is literally not way to do so which is annoying. I would actually manually wipe my character as if I just bought the game If I could.

IDK I am looking at Diablo 4 now, the new season started on the 7th which wiped the game, gained over 20k players when that game wiped. Further more, if you look at the start date of each wipe, you'll see a huge spike in players when the game wipes. The first season that Diablo wiped saw a 173% increase in player count. In fact, it looks Diablo has seen steady and gradual player growth since they introduced wipes into the game with the most recent wipe creating a new all time peak playercount.

From what I remember there was some pretty big backlash from the playerbase when the devs first announced wipes and now the playerbase seems to be overall pretty receptive of the concept. Eventhough players comlained about wipes, the constant increasing in player count shows people actually do like that kind of grind. Diablo overall seems to be in a fairly healthy state following the implantation of wipes by the looks of it.

i think the best thing for you in that case is to enjoy the game Solo for this 3 days, then if u really really like the game you can buy it, but even then the matchmaking will be dead for you as everyone at this point are at the end game. but after some time you will get there to then when you do matchmaking in missions and other stuff you will see that players joining you party or you get the option to join them
