EB had a god tier DPS talent then they removed the DPS part and have only constantly tweaked the base stats which determined if it was good at the moment. It was meh til project resolve then became really good off base stats and now it's going back to meh

My complaint was they needed to improve the base handling. Even with Tenacity, the gun has a hard time hitting anything at range without adjusting your build for it.

They said they would fix it and never did.

I have an unpopular opinion. I think the Ninjabike backpack can be valuable, you just have to use it with 5 different brandsets and rely more on the utility of its cores. I watched the convo you had in build advice. I disagree with a number of the people there.

The NBB is terrible when used on straight gear set peices.

The idea that the 5 different bonuses on the brandsets plus the attribute cores can be very useful. A NBB already promises the user a tier 2 or 3 shield which on a red build can be very powerful.

Throw in the right items, and the advantages can stack up.

Memento only works when you get all the kills and have the time to allow the bonuses to stack up.

To me the memento is the real noob trap. You have to be solo to rack up lots of trophies, you have to be in close to collect them, and you need a lot of them to get the strong stat bonuses.

If you cannot fullfill those 3 criteria, the memento is useless.

The Ninjabike starts with everything already prepared.

That can be difficult. Vigilance is a powerful talent. I am amazed they chose not to nerf that one in this round of rebalancing. It is on most damage builds. People seldom go for composure. They mostly opt for Vigilance.

I had a person ask for a NBB idea last night and we walked through it. He wanted to try striker and hunters with it, but I persuaded him against it. Gear sets force you to give up a secondary attribute per piece. That is what makes them subpar with the ninjabike at least for a non-meme build.

In some ways true, except often vigi is not always in a fight especially if you are solo. It is great when you are at range in proper cover and doing everything right.

When you are deciding like a madman to charge positions and huntdown an elite resource convoy, vigi cannot save you.

you don't get hit even with crusader. NPCs always aim for center mass and so will always hit the crusader unless you're giving them the right positioning to hit your head and not your center mass

You mentioned how people are less accurate and less likely to make headshots then they think. I would argue that people are often shot at and lose vigilance more often than they think as well.

Granted, still even with the new update, you might want to choose to dump all your secondary stats into Crit damage after you reach 60% crit chance or just not bother with crit and go full headshot damage. A single piece of providence is fine with the NBB because it gives the very desirable buff to crit chance with little downside. After that, you need to do whatever you can to buff up with crit damage or headshot damage/handling.

That should give you enough buffs to compensate for the loss of Vigi to a degree. Vigi is still good, and let me not completely dissuade you from trying a backpack with it. Chest talent being obliterate.

Have everything stack the Crit chance to 60% and dump everything else into crit damage.

My point is that people are going to want other builds that are not the same palete swaps of known High End builds that we've all used over the past 4 years. Maybe some experimentation while acknowledging the ideas are not meta or the best possible in every setting cannot hurt.
I pointed out people for a while thought the Famas, F2000, SMG's as a class, Shotguns as a class and other weapons were trash without adequete experimentation. Maybe some of the strange items they have released over the past 2 years deserve the same level of experimentation.
The ninjabike has flaws, but it allows people to sacrifice a very powerful talent to create their own or gain utility elsewhere. It is in my mind something to consider even if it might lead to failure.

Build diversity is the reason I'm still playing this game, I get it. The reason I'll still push back on this though is what's important about build diversity isn't just having different items equipped, it's about how it can change your play. High end vs nego vs strikers vs HF all play differently. Whether or not you run a ceska piece or walker Harris does not effect how you play, it only changes the numbers being output. NBB doesn't change how you play, it only reduces the numbers.

Is there any consistent ways of obtaining system corruption gear pieces? I know they pop out of GE caches and are dark zone drops but it seems incredibly low to get a piece and waiting on events and hoping is a bit tedious too. Any advice is greatly appreciated. And then there gonna be two movies - first one is about the start of pandemic, somewhere in boundaries of the first game, where the main characters would evolve into the world of anarchy and cruelty. In the second movie, it would all be about the outcome of the pandemic and now, when the danger is gone, who’s gonna be in charge of the country?

Maybe even the series format would be better in that case

It is not included with the Steam version.

If that's one of those key-buying services, you shouldn't use those. A lot of them use stolen credit cards.
As long as the game is active on ubi-connect, you can try the PTS. If it's active on Steam, you can not.

The #1 piece of advice is that you need to pick the PTS role over in id:customize, as feedback for the PTS goes in there.
After that; yeah Delta's seem to be happening for some folks, I doubt they'll re-run the PTS though so you're likely just going to have to take the loss.

But with points not allocated you could even role play your shd gains as you progress through the season and only add the points equivelant to the gains you made each session

Why are hunter puzzles so random?

Use keyboard, shoot 3 christmas trees in correct order, get the generator key, activate said generator, wait till night shoot 6 targets in correct order wait for the day shoot another 6 targets and go back to the generator to spawn 4 of those gremlins

I'll just mention high shd didnt benefit at all.. we have been able to run wony on repeat forever, so an extra 1k is just a drop in the bucket. The 5x event was solely for the benefit of new agents.

I don't feel the need for running mules, I already have all items in the game, most of them maximized, some of them expertized to at least lvl 12 for gear and 26 for weapons, maybe 6 to 8 most used builds replicated 1:1 on all 4 characters (usually 2-3 variants of Striker, ND, HB, 2 variants of tanks, healer) and still have +10k SHD points to spend on each character

Same here. I made a new character to play with my buddy who just got the game. When we hit level 40 and unlocked the watch, I legit thought it was a bug when I had 5.8k watch points to spend on my new character. I actually never understood the purpose or appeal to creating a mule character, seems to kinda defeat the purpose to grinding the game.

each alt you have leveled and with an shd watch has the same shd level as your main, including all the scavenging points being duplicated for each. these can be drained and rereun for a new watch infinitely.

if you have all 4 agents created with shd watch, consider it a permanent 4x xp event since they all accumulate whenever any are leveled further.

<1000 , 20% of your shd level would be the scavenging point return on an alt.

1000, the scavenging point return is (shd-800)

so a 5k agent would instantly have 4200 scavenging points to use once their alt gets its watch

and yes, 150 extra storage for each.

There's only snow certain a set couple weeks in the winter, but the game otherwise does have a dynamic weather system that goes between sun/rain/sand storms
