Actually, getting through heroic content isn't much different from Challenging. The main diff is their bigger hp pool and damage.
You actually have 2 things to do:

• find a build (even not maxed) that can reduce quickly their hp
• not taking damage by playing and moving smartly (and not just rush like a bull....... Kick striker because that's the exception) and using cover properly. The best shield in the game is the environnement.

Golden bullet is just a crazy on kill buff that increases ROF, reloads on kill, and makes your gun a laser. It's crazy how fast you'll clear content.

Oh and there is a project going on that nets you an outfit and special gun that's going on for another week.

Printer filament. At 4k shd you can do the level 30 character to 40 in under an hour and get 3200 points every time, then spend them on printer filament

3 shd points per donation of printer filament - this gives you 10% of a proficiency rank - 30 points per rank - 300 to max out an entry - if you created a new mule you could get 10 items to max efficiency

if your alts are level 40 they'll carry over the levels you gain on main

I doubt they'll let have it setup so you can gain per character instead of just one

If you can level an alt with the 5x, it will be a lot lower xp being multiplied. Just run your main and get a carry later for your alts.
I do think it's a shared 5x across the alts. Any gains you make on the main will reflect on the alts once they get the watch.

it would be wasted potential on leveling an alt fast... if you level an alt you dont get the total amount as shd. if you run your main through the full 1k levels, every alt you make after that will benefit that full 1k shd since alts duplicate the watch

countdown is faster if you are targeting and donating items. i find weapons to be the biggest category needing roughly 4400 total items donated (20 of each variant donated).

grinding cp will give good gains to the gear youre wearing , but that will be a somewhat limited strategy unless you plan on using a lot of bad builds just to expertise the different pieces

when expertise came out you saw a lot of ppl wearing 6pc of whatever gear or brand just to try and level it faster

If you have all the mask in the basement you just need to go visit all the sites where the hunters spawn and a key should be there. They put that in as a failsafe a long time ago. If you do all that and still no key it's probably a contact support or find someone who hasn't killed the hunters and do them all over again.

That's really gonna be more depended on the build any given piece would be used in.
Generally crit /dps builds you'll want crit chance/crit damage.
Skill pieces are good with skill damage/skill haste, also status effects if it fire/bleed/foam focused.
Sniper stuff/marksman type items youl want headshot damage/weapon handling.
Healing is repair skills and haste.

Sometimes you'll have builds that go a little against the norm , so knowing what your focus is before farming out specific builds will help sort out the crap from the good stuff.

Any max rolls that dont really fit the brand they're attached to are great pieces for library attribute extractions

Tank builds in this game don't usually work.

This is not Warframe, where you can make every single thing of your build viable on it's own way (Warframe, primary weapon, secondary weapon and melee), in this game, your entire character have to focus in 1 thing, skills, weapon damage or protection.

E,g, if you get an mp5, you can change the Talent, but when you get a new mp5 you can change something else instead.

The basilisk's armor is a different mess. I often just dodge roll around him with a Mozambique Special while breaking each piece of armor with a pistol. There are little tricks to each one of those challenges.

Oxidizer chem often does not do enough damage or worse kills him without breaking the armor.

reading all these complaints about dz loot and i agree made me think just imagine, "entering occupied darkzone". Increase the quality of mods, higher stat rolls and exotics. Add hunters and rogue ai in there and force players to fill those servers first 200ms ping range. Then i remembered how people hate the dz and if that happens, the d1 year1/2 days of people complaining about only good loot dropping in the dz will come back
