I've always said, MSV's strongest work is their world design. The little stories that are entirely unspoken but you can tell enough what happened.

That sounds very slow and boring. A plague is not a quick thing to happen. You'd be playing for months as whatever you were before the SHD is activated until it's turned on too late and then everyone else just dies.
There's a reason div1 skips that part.

Chatterbox / Lady Death are fairly okay alternatives if you don't have an Ouroboros. Closest you can get to the Ouro that's high end is the CCMG Banshee

I can't say I've ever really cared that much about achievements in games, but if you feel that strongly the campaign is quite fast in itself. A "slow" re-run of the campaign is actually a lot of fun, done it a few times myself.
I guarantee that no one else is noticing that you are missing them on your xbox char, if you feel like you're faking it or whatever.

I did play build all red core + all CHC/CHD and I found out that Emeline's Guard is better than Dark Winter or The Appartement

A little bit less damage but bigger mag (50) which allow you to kill an elite on Heroic with only 1 mag

Also give some protection on kill which is always pretty nice at close range

All three of those are fairly "whatever" choices.
You don't need to use a Named Item to have a good build in div2, in fact most of the time a regular one is better. It all depends on the build itself.

The way difficulty in div2 works is that the higher it goes, the better the lowest possible rolls are.
And also: Challenging and above only lets enemies drop gold/gearset/exotic loot.

So combine those two things: and never play below Challenging. Just pretend it doesn't exist.

If you are dropping purple on Chall, then it's a bug. Not intentional. "Play on challenging or above" has been known as a thing for literal years for a reason.

Yes. Bugged. Some are not scaling, some are. As I said, I assume the devs just missed those and had to change them all one-by-one or something.
As someone who opens a heck of a lot of those crates: a lot of the ones that are not working correctly, are in kinda niche areas. I consider it a good way to get the appearance mods for newbies, but it's clearly not intentional as the patch stated that they were going to be changed to scale.

For named items, it takes donating 2 to level them

The best way to max those out is honestly buying them from the various PvE vendors, and donating them.

You don't really need to be going that heavily into it. Just when you're doing a Countdown run, melt down the rest of what you aren't using and donate that.

Div2 is meant to be a marathon, not a sprint.

Div2 is not exactly the best game for people like us, as not everything is actually available anymore. But at least what you can see in Expertise+Recal Library can always be capped out.
With the 5x XP event coming up, you will probably be at least fairly close to having enough to justify spending SHD Scav points on credits, so something to look forward to. There's a 1000 levels cap on it.

Yeah exactly, I'm 1237 right now so I'll leverage the 5x to get the SHD and then also get a bunch of characters to 40

A SHD run of WONY can be fairly safely done from about 1500 onwards, at the low end. You'll 100% have enough by the end of that to justify one.
I'm like 60% sure that the 5x XP will only work on Lvl 40 characters, as it's seemingly designed to get newbies up to the 1-2k cap.
