That didn't work either. Creating a level 1 and getting the first part done. Boosted to wony for level 30. Completed intro to wony. Fast travel to DC. Only project is decent. Sid capital stronghold even though it showed completed. Still no projects. I watched tux earlier. He had just gotten to DC, had the project for ShD opened exotic cache and got a lvl 31 exotic. I havnt had anyone else confirm that you can get it. I've tried 3 different boosts now and doing random stuff still no projects for level 30-39 chars

i really hope they drop this seasonal character bs. i have 1000+ hrs on this game and want to play with that char as often as possible and most importantly whenever I see fit (descent doesnt work with main char obv haha). even if the seasonal characters will be merged to the main char after season's end. new seasons are the perfect content for using the gear and weapons i've collected over 1000 hours.

this whole seasonal character thing can be compared to someone owning several sports cars who turns up to actual races in a prius...

If they make very large changes to gameplay mechanics, like a Global Event+++++, most of the current theorycrafting/builds would likely be suboptimal. Which would lead to the community complaining about having to grind out new gear and how Massive is making the players throw away hundreds of hours of grinding for their current builds. All to make builds that are only going to be used for just 4 months. So, I get having a Season Agent for that reason. I'm skeptical about the whole idea and if they will actually make it worth it, because if the gameplay mechanic changes amount to nothing more than a stock Global Event, it's going to be worthless. They really needed to show an example of what they are talking about, now and not a week before it goes live.

I rather farm equipment on my main every season, just to have the best of the best than farming from lvl 0 to lvl 40 every season just to have it. I mean, with my main I can directly start farming for the ''god roll'' pieces, but when I have to start from scratch, I have to take every piece and the work up to the ''god roll'' stuff. Which is annoying considering there are people out there, like me, who do not have the amount of time to that every season. #

I only would consider seasonal characters if you get the chance to switch sides and either become a rogue agent and join keener or become a hunter or something like that. But seasonal characters just to stay in the Division as an Agent is just lazy and nonsense.
Personally, I wanted to join either the Hunters or the Rogue Agents back in Division 1 already. I always thought that the Government Agency is suspicious and honestly, I think Keener is more right than wrong, although some of his actions are questionable.

So I have 0 shd pts on main character, if I lvl up my 3 mules to lvl 40, will those characters also end up with 0 shd pts or will they have shd pts equal to the shd lvl on my main character which is around 3550 rn, so in total I will have 10,650 shd pts to now spend on my main?

There is nothing wrong with the ARPG seasonal model IMO... because it's an ARPG. DIvision isn't an ARPG. Ubisoft Executives legitimately don't understand the difference, and they've ordered Massive to do something and Massive is gonna do it. Nothing you can do about it. I'm gonna play what I'm playing (5k hours SHD 15K) and if the season sucks I'll just stop playing and play something else.

No. Raids are not useless or pointless, they are run every day by almost everyone.

Raids drop exclusive weapons and Summit drops an exotic Chestpiece when reaching floor 100 with all the keys.

Raid exotics are exclusive to the raids themselves, even if you have the blueprint. The summit exotic on the other hand gets added to the loot pool after you get it the first time.

The issue I'm seeing is division 2 was never built to do seasonal characters. Our mains were our mains. We played for so long on our characters that we left an imprint on them. The pride, the feeling, all your hard work and memories are pretty much being ripped away from us with this change. It offers new content to the newer players, meanwhile resetting the progress of the hardcore players who grinded their ass off for their loot. Newbies and occasional players get the new content for a new experience, meanwhile us hardcore players get reset back to 1 AND we gotta get better gear all over again

It's extremely powerful on Heartbreaker builds, and in PvP. Heartbreaker grants weapon damage and bonus armor when hitting pulsed enemies. I think seasonal characters is a poor decision for division, it's going to put a wall between new and old players which are already few and far between. if you just jump in within the first 30s and take lethal damage you'll just die

you need 30s to allow OSP to kick in

there's also positioning too, if you don't position well you'll get seen by a thousand enemies and they'll all launch skills at you

the people that don't get grenades or drones coming their way positioned themselves well so those enemies don't see them and thus don't use their skills on them. i guess it just comes down to awareness

See, with pvp, I like that you can no longer inspect one's build. I think it evens out the playing field so that way you cant just inspect peoples nearby builds in dz and bring out the best build automatically. I also would like this for conflict too

So from a pvp stance, I think this build inspect bug makes pvp even more hectic because you gotta find out how the game plays before you build swap. Such a good bug I love it
