I believe the actual reason PTS isn't on console too is that to add anything to a console update of a game, you need to get it certified and to do that Sony/Microsoft need to take a look at it.

The countdown is not an option for me, it takes too long to find a group and everyone leaves the lobby if they wait for a long time, the summit will be better for me. If I increase the difficulty will the drop rate increase or does this not work for exotic items?

The idea behind making it Challenging or above is that on those difficulties, enemies only drop gold/gearset/exotic loot, no other colours.
for Countdown: do the same thing with difficulty. Most Challenging Countdowns take about 30 seconds to find a full team, sometimes it's as low as 10.

Yes and no. On my current pc build I've had no issues with div2, but on my previous I had more headaches than I'd like to admit, had to manually clear DX cache with a .bat aswell as clean RAM with RAMMAP from time to time or the game simply wouldn't launch / crashed often.
I don't think it's feasible to retroactively add DLSS/FSR support to a game, but along with engine updates I hope it'll be included in newer division titles.

Back in 2021, when I started playing Div2, it was buttery smooth on my system. Even with high settings, I was getting 80+ FPS. But somewhere during 2023 if I'm being correct about the timeline, the game suddenly started performing poorly. FPS dropped, and the game started crashing out of nowhere. I spoke to other players over on reddit and many of those players were also facing the same issue. I may be naive but I'd love to see FSR 3 integrated in this game at some near future.

Mine is hit or miss where sometimes it's perfect and sometimes there's a tiny lag during the run cycle and its annoying. I think more than anything it has to do with my connection rather than my PC being too taxed bc I have a lot of room to improve my graphics if I want to. Hell no, still up there, at least top 10, would be less if they were able to get rid of all the technical issues. The game crashes since 2018 (we should submit it to world records). Never had an issues on Division 1 nor Avatar friontiers of pandora. All these games are running on Snowdrop engine, for whatever reason they run great, never had any issues with Div1 and Avatar and yet keep getting crashes with Div2
