i would keep it to a few control points in 1 area until you get their specific spawn locations down. reset and repeat the same area, and just ad a couple more when comfortable with the ones you are doing. they all have different layouts and different spawn patterns, but once you know what to expect they become a lot easier

Inputs in the game are queued for after an animation completes. Sometimes there's even server delay and your input (like pulling out shield) get delayed by a lot.

If this is happening to you a lot then you're accidentally pressing spacebar 4 times (2x for dodge, 1x "cancels" the dodge, 1x puts you into cover).

It's a common problem b/c when you're trying to dodge out of trouble you're also more likely to spam keys. Actions in the game can get pretty delayed. So like you'll double tab dodge... nothing will happen for 1 second... and you'll double tap again... but now 4x taps are queued up and you get stuck in cover.

no it's a real thing. if you stay near cover and double tap the cover button normally (double tap cover is dodge roll), you will get into cover first because you tapped the cover button then you dodge, and that messes up the dodge roll. it is a real thing and isn't related to panic spamming or anything

Once you hit Lvl 40 (aka: have finished WONY) you can junk all purples.
Only gold/gearset/exotic will be useful going forward.
if you play on Challenging or above, enemies won't drop purples either.

You just need the tally and 1 other piece for the bp to drop. I got it this week on one of my alts.
Have them read off what they have for parts. It also may be a possibility they already have the bp without realizing.
Another issue that can screw it up is if they have a nemesis in their inventory that was shared by another agent. That would stop any pieces dropping as well. If that's the case they can put it in another agents inventory and will be able to progress with the project

Perhaps that's a factor as to why you haven't seen the next part drop after x number of runs... assuming they haven't changed the requisite parameters since that time, of course.

You can get some pretty neat blueprints for going deep as heck into it (The Gift and Emperors Guard spring to mind) but otherwise I don't really get much out of it and I think most folks agree (I can matchmake into it maybe 1 in 10 times)

the problem with ninja is its not in the targeted loot pool until you get blueprint so its literally only in crates... so far im past crate 87 still no luck, lots of useless guns tho

Should be in the targeted pool. That's usually only a thing at the start of new seasons with new exotics. Ninja backpack isn't something that's going to really next level or improve a build. It's for exo comp, memes, or collecting.

Unrelated: a lovely Christmas story about why you don't give up on your Countdown group too early. Other sub-group got full-wiped twice at the start by the Hunters, one of them left. First one everyone went to? VIP.
Ended up finishing really strong, had the main cleared with 6m left, everyone extracted comfortably

There's not enough room for newbies to grow, which is unfortunate because if they don't, the numbers will just dwindle and dwindle until there's nobody left to matchmake with.
It's a mission of mine to drop nice things for new players whenever I can, it's the right thing to do (everyone here was on day one at some point) and it's hard enough being five years behind everyone else without them reminding you of it everytime!
(Three of the players in that CD were <200 SHD, which is pretty much newbie status at this point)
