If you still have that Dark Winter, the only thing that needs to be changed is the 3rd stat. The talent is static, and the first two stats can be optimized. Just swap that third stat for DTTOOC and you have a half decent SMG.

I'd suggest playing thru and getting thru to WT1 if you wanna experience the main story line and learn about the systems in the game. If you want you could go thru each world tier but it's kinda repetitive. So if you don't you can boost your character and go to new York but you'll be stuck there until you beat it. Once you do all the manhunts, reach level 40 and beat the final mission you'll unlock SHD leveling and enter "the end game"

There's a fair amount to learn about the game systems (even if you have played TD1), so my recommendation (though not a particularly strong one) is to play through from level 1 and learn the various game systems, paying particular attention to the items (weapons/gear/skills) you get and the loadouts you create with them. There are a lot of users that get upset that they get to level 40 and are constantly getting kicked from groups; the reason for that is usually because they clearly have no idea how to put together a loadout.

Well, it's one of those things like math; if you want good and interesting loadouts you need to practice putting them together and understanding them yourself, at least to some degree. Loadouts work better when tweaked for your playstyle, and of course the loadout you use in the first place is heavily dependent on your playstyle.

yeh no worries, countdown is very good for getting gear. it has a target system, so say you want heartbreaker you select it. then enemies will drop mostly that gear set. after completing it you can redeem the countdown points for exotic caches, named or etc

No, the loot quality will depend on the difficulty. If your on normal or hard you'll be getting purple quantity drops. Most people will run countdown on challenging. If your new id really recommend staying away from matchmaking on heroic countdown.

Heroic missions and open world are fine, but most matchmade countdown groups struggle with the scaling, and your better off just getting more loot/runs completed on challenging than struggling through heroic countdown with randoms

It's just how the math works out once you've got max rolls all around you'll be way too high on CHC and if you are slowly improving your build you might not notice. Just saying keep an eye on it.

On crit builds this is your general guidelines. You want 60% or as close to it unless you are running coyotes mask in that case you want 48-52 and then to play mid buff BUT if you notice you are almost always close buff then just go for 60% with coyotes. Everything else goes right into CHD.

Yeah coyotes buff is circumstantial and most just shoot for mid buff because it's a good distance but if you are a mad lad and do crazy stuff adjust your build to benefit you ya know.
