Yea it's still great, but an AR might be better. The new exotic AR (st Elmo's Engine) is top tier. If you grind the season to level 90 you'll unlock it

I'm certain this has been talked about to death, but Descent ABSOLUTELY needs progress saving. It takes HOURS to get a good build going (around loop 20 or so) and it's completely unrealistic to think that time investment is necessary for a game in this genre.

People getting into 60+ have invested nearly 10 hours into a playthrough, and considering macros are officially not allowed even (anti-idle macros to let you take a more than 15 minute break) that's just silly to not have progress saving. That's all I wanted to say, hopefully someone in the team feels the same.

For all I come here asking for minor things (well, crashing isnt minor) to be fixed. I got a solid ass game from Massive that I just keep coming back to. If the seasons models here, even if you think they are shallow, were "replay the campaign and find all the comms again before you can start doing fun stuff" I'd have pooped on this game a long time ago

try doing yourself a favor in the long run, finish ALL the side missions incase it's a diff side mission tied to starting it up.

most common thing causing that bug is usually a side mission not done....hell the one last season (at tidal basin) I think it was required a side mission done that was halfway across the map (near the safehouse near Ivy Tunnel) from where the actual bounty took place, but if it wasn't done it wouldn't start.

outsider kinda lets you use and SMG at range BUT when using an smg you want to be close (striker shield, HF, better accuracy) so makes outsider kinda meh

My biggest issue with Outsider is that it takes away from another Talent, it's the same problem as using an Exotic with a decent talent but terrible mod slots+attributes.
