On a completely different note... I just started a new toon, doing a full rerun of the campaign and such. I usually play long range/sniper or skill styles but figured I would go outside the norm for me and use an LMG and play around a bit. I am finding the Stoner really fun to use so far.

About to wrap up WT5 and start WoNY, and used the Stoner for the majority of it and have been having a blast. Still not sure what to pair with it as being where I am I havent a need to worry about a proper build yet.

problem with that is crashing, makes you redo the whole thing and you hope you dont crash before you beat him

Elmo's, it's a full mag of shock ammo and booster hive doesn't do a lot, you can't shoot while shocked, and it's hard to out strafe 70 bullets, it makes it where you almost have to have a shock protection build to go into dz because 1 person with the gun will wipe you in a few secs

Skill issue. Don't get hit, prioritize targets, use shield and cover effectively. I blitz through solo Heroic content in super fast time and almost always have the highest total damage and kills in group stuff.

Striker's is probably the quickest build a new player can use to farm Heroic for other builds they wanna make.

you need to first complete the foundary and future initiative projects

to get the regulus project unlocked, then the next time you run normal iron horse, the revolver parts drop from each of the 4 bosses + the box at the end that requires 5 raid keys

there's no degredation system, this game is more like destiny in that you keep all your guns until you don't want them.

On any weapon, u would want damage to target out of cover if possible as an attribute as its a direct dmg upgrade

the only exception to gear is that the backpack and chest slot have a "Talent", which is a specific thing that it gives you, like bonus crit damage after a kill, etc.

I generally dislike the idea of my weapon degrading over time, just because I enjoy it when I have a weapon that I can keep upgrading and stuff and then I just don't use it because I don't want to degrade it
