if you're going for story line you can do the mission around the DC map in order (I don't know the proper order off top of my head) but if you just want to reach end game you can go straight to WONY after completing Tidal Basin and do the other missions around DC after you're done with WONY and return to DC. Your choice honestly, you're not gaining much other than a little bit of story by doing those missions prior to leaving DC.

atleast u didn't get shot through boxes/crates on the one (usually fire room) with a small area in center with a wall on two sides only. I was hiding in a corner and the NPCs beamed me through the smallest of small gaps between two crates....homing bullets I tell ya.

nemesis is not an issue (solo, in group it's even easier). Foam + fire bullets before the fight and don't spec into armor before the fight (we do this after). You need as much dmg, as possible at quickest fire rate ever (allegro talent). If you can't melt him with everything I wrote - it's not the boss issue then

on a turret drone build it's average 5% more skill damage (additive with all your other skill damage so prob about 2% in effect) stronger than a wyvern or second hana u, so it's ok but not really necessary

if you could find a way of managing your skill damage to get most use out of the damage rotation then it could be a bit more valuable than that, but it's a lot of effort for little gain

Unsure exactly what you mean, but to only let enemies drop gold/gearset/exotic loot, play on Challenging or higher.
also, the higher the difficulty, the better your minimum stats of loot are.

e.g. Heroic will have better rolls overall than Challenging, etc. But there is some RNG at work still.

If you equip different gear and mess with appearance changing it to regular transmog (brand/gear transmog), then switch back to your original gear it can break the bug and be back to normal. It seems like it's the apparel event transmog stuff that sticks.

no Directives means that you have to rely on sheer numbers. An ~average of 40 drops per run, from my own testing.

You get given the new Exotics as you level up in the Season Pass, and farming GE's/Countdown will get you plenty more.

I will say though, as an aside, I absolutely adore the way The Division handles min-maxing in the end game, compared to a lot of games. Everything you do here feels like your time is not wasted. Wish more games adopted its philosophy and let players be players.
