I have like no actual evidence for it and never done tests but I swear when you split up there's barely any enemies in each room, and my fastest challenging CD run was with me + a level 1 person with pre 40 gear being dead basically 95% of the time and a level 50 person with a random match of tank pieces
all we faced were like 3 reds and a purple in a room every time lmao

however extraction did seem to be exactly same as with 8 people so that's the only dice-y part
we picked up all loot and we got like quarter of the normal loot you tend to get in a run, if not less
it could've just been that it bugged the hell out in more ways (our entire 2nd subgroup dropped instantly on connect and the 4th person in our group crashed half a minute after)

Edit 15m later: Yea no nvm those were just 2 anecdotal flukes, I just went in solo and barely did it on challenging, definitely just the usual ton of elites still and didn't seem different to doing it with 8

crit damage can definitely get higher over time, but ur low shd lvl so understandable. you'll get 10% more from watch, then also get 10% more chc from watch as well which means you can respec some of ur current chc towards damage so you'll gain a bit more in due time.

Best fun open world is when you get multiple activities stacking and it's just pure chaos. That's why I alway try to aim for CP with a patrol or convoy incoming.

I'm not sure what you mean by this. Most of my status load outs have multiple sources of status in them e.g. weapon, skills, exotic. So, I rotate between them. There are many points in the game where a group of enemies will attack all together in missions, countdown, summit etc. ID instantly disables them.

Black Tusk drop from their chopper and they are already burning without you even having to lift a finger.

Even if you do manage to use it for one wave, there's more than that
