It depends. Raw Weapon Damage just increases the base damage on weapons. Critical Hits is its own modifier.

I think expertise used to be multiplicative too. Then once it got out of PTS and into the main game, they had changed it to additive according to player feedback.

Expertise is an upgrade you can do over time by "mastering" guns/gear/skills.
It's item specific, except for skills though. e.g. you can make a single gun do 1% more Weapon Damage at a time, or your healy drone be slightly more effective.

To clarify, if you upgrade a single gun, it's only that specific copy of the gun, it's not all of them.

Proficiency Level is what allows you to upgrade stuff more, each item in the game caps out at 10, which lets you upgrade more Expertise levels, etc, etc.
This is all late game though, not worth worrying about too early.

Countdown (when it doesn't bug out) is the fastest loot farm for most stuff, if you're low shd then you'll want to stick to challenging difficulty as heroic players tend to be a bit picky. Also challenging/heroic loot quality and difficulty are higher in countdown than in the rest of the game.

On legendary difficulty it's easier in a group because the number of enemies doesn't change with more players, for lower difficulties you can solo them easily enough.

If you're having to wait for people to join, you can always go ingame and "call for backup". You have to re-call every time someone joins, but it's one of the fastest ways to gain random teammates.

It's another Avenue to reach them. Idk if it is faster but you can have a couple irons in the fire. It generally takes them a week to respond to tickets on website in my experience

Spreadsheet pinned in #td2-build-advice has location info I think. Only a few exotics are locked to specific locations though, most are just random drops.

Each time a mob/chest drops loot, there's a chance for it to also drop a piece of target loot. Directives increase the chance, and for named enemies the chance is 100%. Completing activities also gives you a target loot drop.

Each open world zone and mission have their assigned target loot which changes each day at the same time the daily projects reset. In summit and countdown you can choose your own.

Yes but dps will have killed it before skills get to work. Scorpio with a shotgun build would be helpful. Countdown is like raid in respect of everyone needing a adequate build for the job otherwise failure results.

not really true. tbh, ill i ever ran in cd was cc eclipse . the end was always way easier when the choppers arrive and npc instantly stuck before even jumping out the chopper.
i run with higher haz pro so hunter emp is very short lived, they would be stuck before having a chance to target anyone. also creeping death for maximum spread since foam isnt damage .
the only thing you dont run in CD is deployable like turred/drone/clusters, single use like foam/jammer/fire sticky all useful.

was also added as an alternative since they were having bad luck running healer... most are dps so cc can be helpful

There is also proximity chat (no idea how to turn it on cause I'm anti social). Only reason I know is there were a few videos prior to this season talking about how best to farm the DZ for raid exotics and turning on prox chat was a tip since you could hear other players approaching

if you have uncaptured CPs it will spawn public executions, and if you havve captured CPs it will spawn rescue

Technically they are not nerfing. They've increased XP in alot of other LWA but just fixed the double XP bug from convoys, warhounds and patrols.

aim was to normalise it so xp/min is roughly equal across all activities, so noone feels compelled to farm only one thing for max efficiency

You are probably right that it incentivizes those who have no time to play to puchase apparel keys or season passes to get a boost in keys. But it doesn't mean that devs keep open a 2+ year old bug/loophole to gain all apparel keys in an hour, an activity which should take several days.
