as named caches are generally more worthwhile, either those or exotic caches as nowadays you will need allot of exo components for expertise

I’ve installed it on my expansion ssd and crashes and bugs out running it in hdr mode but will crash when I switch it off in setting too. Personally, I had the PS4 physical disk on my Pro. Loaded it up on my PS5 (WD external Drive, disk model). That was way too slow. I upgraded the SSD to 2TB, as well as the digital version of TD2 since it was on sale.

Other than the SLOOOW loading times between scenes/zones, I didn't have issues.

I don't play with HDR either both PS5 or PC. Tried it a few times on the PS5, but went back to normal. Don't get that HDR option on the PC oddly enough. even though GPU (3060Ti) and monitors are rated for HDR. At least I think they are.

if it's the post-WONY level 40 endgame you've reached, you could also farm the General Anderson manhunt mission for exotics, but it'll take a bit of work to unlock first

countdown has the added advantage that you can spend the countdown credits on exotic caches for extra chances

I love iKia's burst and sustain tables to help give you some info about, well, how good burst and sustain is on all the weapons of each weapon type, it doesn't give the full image - you should still consider mag size/total damage per mag/weapon type (for specific bonusses from a build)/handling (not much point in some higher damage weapon if you don't hit as much with it or don't like it personally)

Perhaps having a look at some attributes that are incredibly overshadowed, where DTOOC and stuff is so uniquely ahead nothing comes close, would be nice, especially for say LMGs where they already have DTOOC and the third attribute is kind of awkward

They do change stuff but only stuff that is massively overtuned or undertuned. There is not that much of that kind of thing in this game, and just because you cant do well with something doesnt mean its bad either, you havent gotten to the top end of the meta yet.

The honey badger you were asking about is a fine gun, but its not the top of the top. It doesnt need to be buffed because its only slightly worse than the other ARs.

There's a balance to be had between having differences in a games available options, without having too large of outliers that unbalance the game. If you remove all the differences then it doesn't matter what your using and the entire idea behind having various builds becomes pointless.

Overall, the balance in this game is very well done considering the various amount of differences in options.

The famas has it's pros and cons. It's great at burst damage, and is accurate. It's downsides are a large kick, shorter range, and lack of a long barrel which keeps you from using it with the strongest weapon talent. It's a pretty good case of a well balanced weapon that is still a very strong option, but has clear downsides.

There have been times in this game where there were clear outliers. When the EB was released it was so far ahead of everything else it made everything else irrelevant. It got completely reworked in gear 2.0 with most other things, and now is a mid tier weapon that has a very strong niche in pvp. Another solid case of the game doing a good job at balancing.

if its just once in a while, that is sadly normal, most people will have a crash for every few hours of play, (for me it averages to 1 crash per 7-8, sometimes days without, sometimes 3 in a hour)
if its very often, like every 5 mins, then give some of the things brought up in the link a try, for some they can help get them from a crash everytime to be like the rest with once every few hours.

How do you get maxed attributes?

Say you a gear piece with 8 crit damage and skill damage that’s half away and there’s in gear mod slot. Excluding the gear mod slot, how do you make the 2 skills with the piece you picked up max? Is it just a matter of rolls or you gotta do something at the bench?

You can go to the bench and optimize each attribute as long as you have the materials. It's expensive though. Usually you want to optimize when you're 1 or 2 away from max value.

But if you play on higher difficulty like Heroic, your chances of getting loot with near perfect attributes increase slightly (still RNG though). It just takes lots of patience and luck.

Same as main. Gear gets better as you level up, so equip the best you get. After the final mission, if you happen to have gotten any exotics, keep those because you can upgrade those to level 40. Recal library is something to work towards also.

Expertise grind seems to me to be fairly okay the first couple of levels of expertise if you're consitently looting weapons and gear you don't want/need as junk and just throwing it in there at the bench with the donate all option. Gradually I expect it will be slower and slower progress doing that as more of the various weapon and gear types reach proficiency. I started out playing WONY maybe a week ago or so and I'm soon expertise level 6 by doing just that and not even intentionally grinding expertise.
