I recently returned to the game and had no issues before but now after returning after a few years and several updates I had alot of crashing issues. Game kept freezing pretty often and sometimes I had to restart the PC completely and couldn't even access task manager.
I Googled for solutions and what worked for me was setting Easy Anticheat to only be allowed to use one processor and also going to the root map where the game is installed and for the three exe-files (EACLaunch, TheDivision2 and thedivision2launcher) I right clicked them > properties > compatibility > tick "inactivate fullscreen optimization" and then click the button just underneat "change settings for high DPI" and in that new window that pops up tick the box "ignore high DPI scaling". After I did those things I have so far not had another crash/freeze (knock on wood).
The naming of some things may be a bit off, I translated from my Swedish Windows installation.

Also, sorry if this should go in #unofficial-troubleshooting but I saw fellow agent having crash issues and wanted to give a tip of what worked for me 🙂

The only difference between someone with high SHD level and low is that generally the ones with high will have done it more often and understands where to go and how it works. That's about it, the boost to your stats you get are pretty insignificant if the build is good otherwise.

Hey y'all! I'm new here after discovering the subreddit. I only recently started playing Division 2 after it showed up on PS+. Having never played the first, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it didn't take long for me to fall in love with it. A lot of it really appeals to my love for Diablo, just admittedly a vastly different setting 🤣

So I've been playing for about two months now, and am at rank 35 in NYC. Up until recently I haven't messed around with the Recalibration Station at all, and even now I'm really only putting talents in my library (or a really good attribute roll if I get it). I figure doing it this way means I can grab the talents now on lower level weapons (I don't think they scale?), and then use the higher level weapons as I get them to get better rolls.

I have a question... in two parts: First, is this a smart approach? Second, how do you decide how much to deconstruct at the station vs. deconstruct for crafting vs. sell? This has been the thing I have spent the most time thinking about, haha, and would really like to figure out a system for it (if one exists).

If you go into your resources and highlight an item, it tells you which faction “hordes” that material. Then do missions/ activities that involve that faction. And yeah, there is always solar farm.

Bullet king is weak. Does less damage than other lmg’s because of the no reload. I only know one spot where it is beneficial, sniper alley in iron horse. And even that has a new and better strategy.

You’ll need exotic components to upgrade expertise above 10 on weapons and gear. Takes 15 to go from 10 to 15, and another 40 to go from 15 to 21 on one item… the grind is real.
