This has been a ongoing issue for over a year now.
You can tell as soon as you start the game. If the launch screen is laggy, then don't start the game. Just exit to desktop and relaunch.

TBH, it's just going to happen. So don't worry when it does. Just restart and should be okay then. Clearing the cache folder helps with game running better, and for those with CTD or game hanging and getting a windows error message.

I'm actually convinced this game has broken RNG. I've farmed way more than 200 summit floors on heroic with 6 active directives and I still don't have a wyvern chest with status effects and skill damage or one of those with kinetic momentum on it

It's RNG, so who knows, but it should be too bad. It's a yellow core so you don't need to worry about the core roll, and it's a yellow major attribute your looking for yellow minor attributes on, so that's in your favor.

You really don't need armor in countdown, and memento isn't great on countdown either tbh.
Heroic gives more, but it takes a group that's prepared for it, which you will rarely find in matchmaking

convoys are a better exp/hr. You want to do them on the highest difficulty and directives you can manage without them slowing you down. If your on heroic and its taking you over a minute to clear a convoy then just drop down to challenging, etc

I had to go into the game folder, and repair the anticheat thing to stop the crashing, and the game looks fantastic

Go to game folder, in game folder is a folder called EasyAntiCheat, run easyanticheatsetup, click where it says repair
When you run the game again easyanticheat will prompt you and you have to click yes

@elfin meadow The PvP in this game is a world of hurt and misery, it takes an immense and unreasonable amount of patience and dedication, in terms of build, in terms of skill, it is not very accessible, especially after Expertise update, PvP of this game has no element of fair play, it all depends on who no lifed this game the most, I do not recommend PvP to anyone who is interested in it

You're welcome to not like it, but it's downright strange to actively try and ward people off it.
Just drop the negative attitude already. You want new players coming in, that's how a game's player-count grows.

If you're that bad at PvP, you might want to try improving, instead of lowering the player-count.
That's the only reason I can think of to actively want less people in the DZ.

I have, I was using skill builds for awhile like a lil beach because I can't be bothered with how OP everyone's guns are
In order for me to compete to a level I can determine that leaves no room for mistakes, it means I have to max grade all my gear, including all PvP pieces and weapons, that is too much grind, I choose to play something else, something that is actually balanced lol
Imagine if in literally any other PvP games, you're required to play 10 hours to make your weapon do 20% more damage than other players, no one really think that's okay, but for some reason, this game's community does lmao, sorry I don't wanna be part of it

It is time consuming. But im having fun in div2. But ive seen other players with non expertised weapon n gears, they still can compete, coz they know how exactly they wanna play and have the right gears, talents and weapon talents

The rumour I heard about it is that it had to do with Sony/Microsoft, but outside of speculation the only answer we have is "no future plans".
