Just tried Heroic CD again on a lark. Same quality of loot as Challenging (as usual). One person disconnected early. We finished the mission without too much trouble (thank goodness it was not the steam vents main mission). Things went belly up in the final hunter stage. Two hunters peeled off to the side, ran like 100 metres away, and my team decided to go after the BT helicopter guys instead of dealing with those two. I had to yell "help" in the chat because I went to deal with them on my own. Survived thanks to @smoky stag recommended Galvanize/Scorpio build. One guy came to help me. At 0:10 seconds, the flare was fired but there were still a ton of enemies left on the field. We couldn't kill them all and at 8 seconds to go, I decided to extract. The others were still fighting the mobs when I clicked "Spectate".

I maintain my stance that unless you have a coordinated pre-made team communicating well, Challenging is still the best option for CD. In this instance, we could have got more loot if we had killed all the enemies left, but we didn't, so it was moot. And just one guy disconnecting can change the dynamics on Heroic. I got 180 points at the end of it, but I get 140-160 on Challenging pretty regularly.

I can successfully lock down at least 80% of the map in the final stage with CC in Countdown. And with a good team, we can get it done on Heroic. I'm just saying that Heroic mode is less forgiving of player tactical errors like splitting up to chase down hunters on their own, focussing on BT drops before hunters have been killed, and then there's the game throwing random crashes and disconnects, reducing the team count. The buff to HP is miniscule and basically has no effect. You could get to SHD 10k and jumping off a ledge would cause about as much damage.
The only reason they go for a SHD level that high is resources, being able to skip a certain section of the div2 grind.

So I started farming out commendations and looking at guides for a couple of them if needed, and all the guides were saying how Battlefield Awareness Distinction is so hard because it's 3 kills with your primary then 3 with your secondary from an elevated position without missing a shot or taking damage... but the commendation says nothing about difficulty or weapon type... so sniper rifle primary, sniper rifle secondary, storymode difficulty Viewpoint Museum has 6 enemies you can quickly pick off from that first little walkway

i use syscor, i have not prepare 3 yaahl build

3 yaahl and 1 resistance mod, it's 3brand+1mod(= 12%chd = 10%hsd = 1 attribute)
but let say you want to fully counter ridgeway, 100% build resistance, you need 60% hazard = 6attribute, and 2ceska 1yaahl = 2brand , and 1 bleed resistance mod = 1attribute, equal 7attribute +2 brand
first piece of ceska is 10%chc, it benefit crit build so it don't count as cost

compare with normal build, 1v1 situation
anti-pulse are losing 3brand+1attribute = 45%chd + 12%chd = 57%chd
reduce damage from spotter, flatline, HB
bleed are losing 2brand+7attribute = 30%chd + 84%chd = 114%chd
reduce damage from sadist , wicked, and 3% regen of ridgeway
these are just numerical, in fact you won't build with 45%chd from brand, chd of hazard build won't losing so much actually
but it show the cost of anti-ridgeway are more than anti-pulse

for teamfight situation, ridgeway still able to activate wicked from your team who are not full bleeding resistance, then you get less benefit with anti-ridgeway

yeah, there's no room for everything, rule of thumb is that you keep everything you need for the builds you use and also that pieces that don't get mentioned often here are probably not worth keeping (or they have a low priority anyway)
