yeah it's not like a raid where you need good players and coordination, you can just all pile in and you'll probably be fine (the only area where weak groups tend to fail is right at the end, but you'll already have a load of loot by then which you won't lose)

eh, I was saying pretty much the opposite - I've yet to play on a team that couldn't manage the primary and secondary objectives (except when over half the players got disconnected), but quite a few weaker teams have got that far then failed at exfil - it's definitely the hardest stage of the mode

if you play smart, you should be able to roll with 6 reds and 0 blues against standard countdown enemies. They don't spawn very "densely" and the rooms are very large. Getting flanked when you have 7 teammates is hard so dogpiling enemies with raw DPS should be more than enough. Any incidental damage you take, the small amount of blue you get as Heartbreaker should give you enough safety to retreat and medkit.

The only "difficult" part of Countdown is the DPS check at the extract with the black tusk waves combined with the massed Hunters. This build is far from the best at that but with 6 reds it does the best it can, and you'll get enough blue to not fall over to the blacktusk damage - it's just the Hunters shooting you that will obliterate anyone.

#

The only thing that can survive Hunter gunfire is a 6-core bulwark build that also has to spec into 100% disrupt resistance and at that point the build has no way to actually kill the Hunters quickly... so...

The build is meant to just be able to keep up with a typical Countdown party, have just enough survivability to not fall over randomly, and be able to shoot with 6 red cores during the extract.

If you want to facetank certain enemies, with 1-3 blues on HB, the backpack+chest, and an ACS you can double your healthbar in a few seconds. It's great for missions! But even this won't protect you against Countdown Hunters, so when you were asking, I didn't include it.

Having a Spotter chest and a Flatline AR with 6 red cores is way more consistent against the extraction Hunters.

I don't think there's anything to gain by putting them off until you hit level 30 (except I guess a bit more level 30 loot, but you'll be constantly replacing your gear as you move up the world tiers anyway)

Question: Floor 100 farming, it seems its not the same as floor 10 or anyother boss floor farm. When I kill myself I spawn in the lobby and lose out on my loot if I didnt get it before killing myself. ive tried before getting my loot and after and yet same result. Thanks in advance for any input!

However the upgrades itself only apply to that 1 specific item you applied upgrades to.

Yes, proficiency can be gained by using an item (or donating) and affects that whole class of items, but does not improve the stats by itself, you need to add expertise upgrades for that (and they only affect that specific item, as has been said). The number of expertise upgrades you can apply is limited based on how many different item classes you've gained proficiency on.

90% of them are a RNG rewards from control points level 3 and higher (also reward from weekly invaded and some projects). also you can check the crafting table, it lists all the blue prints in the game and how to get them.

A lot of cover isn't "perfect" even from the direct front. Sticking to every piece of cover religiously can actually expose you more when you aim to shoot than if you were actually un-stuck to cover. Anything that's man-height or higher is probably better off with you edging left and right behind it, than sticking to it and RMBing to peek. Waist high cover is still important to use though.

The cover-to-cover move seems ridiculously clunky at first. You have to be in cover to begin with, then you have to carefully aim at another piece of cover until you see the prompt, then you hold down spacebar to take what seems like it would be a ridiculously vulnerable pathway that the AI deems useable.

What the game doesn't tell you is that while in a cover-to-cover move, enemies will easily miss >80% of their shots at range. Enemies that would normally laser beam you to death suddenly deal almost no damage at all. You can utilize cover-to-cover moves to close the gap on enemy positions, or, more cleverly, use it to ESCAPE a bad flank. Hell, you can even cover-to-cover right in front of an enemy while in the open simply to avoid some damage while reloading.

tl;dr:

  • Don't religiously use every piece of head-height cover if you don't have to, learn to just move manually around it.
  • Learn how to use the cover-to-cover move early on to avoid huge amounts of incoming damage, it has some "muscle memory" to get used to especially because of how unintuitive its usage can be.

This results in the weirdly unintuitive situation where I'm corner peeking around a wall, slicing the pie with WASD movement to make sure I only expose to exactly 1 enemy at a time instead of using the cover-peek which would cause my character to step fully out into the line of fire. Then, the moment I realize I'm being flanked, I THEN stick to the wall at the corner, only to look at a faraway concrete barricade and hold down space bar, causing my character to do a cover-to-cover scramble during which I take almost no damage, where if I ran normally I would certainly be dead.

There's a lot of build-finicky stuff and gear knowledge but that's all jank you'll learn when it's relevant. But you can start learning how to utilize your movement properly early.

TBH they should just have count down drop zero loot and upon completing CD, you get a big loot box chest with a lot of loot. that way everyone can go through their own loot without being rushed.

Perhaps to keep peopke from being kicked and from leaving the group because all they want is the loot, Ubisoft could reward you with bonus recalibration or expertise caches or even an exotic cache for extracting. I understand some crashes occur but doesn't their system know the difference between someone intentionally leaving, being kicked or crashing? I don't know, I'm far from being knowledgable about such things

The only way to currently replay any part of her manhunt is by the camp white oak manhunt mission unlocked with the battle pass

Alright, you get to a certain level in the battlepass which will end in a few days. You unlock the final mission to kill faye. You go to the mission site (camp white oak) and toggle the manhunt mode. The mission will reload and it’ll be done. That make more sense?
