If you're talking about the street apparel event caches they are done with the period to earn them via leveling, currently you can only use existing keys to open them and/or buy keys via the in-game store.

Strained is a much better option on non-vector SMGs. The MP5 is unique for (good) SMGs because it has a long rail attachment allowing you to run the tech spotter pulse and flatline.

People I have a question about a bug that happens to me in pd4 in division 2. What happens to me is that for example with the carrier of the eagle I have 122k in basic statistics for the bonus that the specialization gives but suddenly after a while for example if I go to the shooting range the damage appears in 106k and it's like if I didn't have the assault rifle damage bonus activated and what I did is restart the specialty it puts it back to 122k but then it lowers it again to 106k And the same with the weapons that I put the bonuses on, for example the scorpion that would have to have 1.1m of total damage and appears with 933k of damage

Is it just a visual bug or does it really affect damage?

the library is to collect the highest stats, lets say you get a %6 crit hit damage on a AR you add it to the library, then later on you get the max which would be %15, now when you want to maybe recalibrate a AR youll have it ready in the library to add it, once you have collected most of everything from each type of weapon/armor you can work on donating items to the expertise section

Okay. I have tried donating in the expertise side and nothing has happened lol. In my recalibration library I have all of my core attributes maxed out. That’s the only slot maxed out. I’m also using the heartbreaker armor set trying to max that out as well. There’s a lot to this game. A lot to try and take in all at once

Library is simple to get attributes filled. Play cd, mark all the stuff as junk then go through library and pull stuff out, which destroys original piece but keeps attribute forever. Categories will be marked with a green up arrow if you have anything that can be improved.
The library will pull an attribute from anything not marked favorite, so marking stuff as junk helps you know it's ok to pull attribute. Then donate the rest to expertise like suggested above.

Anything left gets broke down for mats or sold. If it's already marked junk from beginning this is all pretty quick.

You won't see much change wih expertise. Your dial will move a little and you may see the number xx/120 count up a little.
Each weapon,named,exotic will take 20 donated duplicate items to level it proficient.
Gear and brand sets take 100 donations of any piece from the set.
You can also just use items and they will become proficient through xp gain.

Eventually you'll start seeing shields with stars on gear and those can take upgrades.

Dont worry too much on expertise though , the upgrades are pretty small and they cost a ton of materials.

to get it the first time there's a project yeah, just google a guide. You find each piece in the summit caches at different floor ranges (eg, the first piece in floors 1-20, next in floors 20-40, etc)

oh, but be aware if you google an older guide it will give you the wrong floor range for the first couple of pieces, it was originally different but now is just 'every 20 floors'

It's a very common issue.
Only solution I've found is to kill the Process via Task Manager, and try again. It rarely happens twice in a row.

Seems to be caused by a RAM issue, at least on my end.

How do I get dz creds I’m trying to get the apartment smg

AT LEAST ON PC; if you're just farming landmarks for the sake of farming landmarks and generic DZ loot (as opposed to targetted loot)
Just jumping between the three dark zones for ~2-5 minutes can eventually land you in a DZ that has 0 other players in it besides you. You'll walk in and see that there are no extractions, that there's DZ drops that have gone unclaimed for 5+ minutes, and no landmarks are being done.

I legitimately never have trouble finding an empty DZ server at least for a solid 30 minutes.

If someone does show up and kill you, call that DZ a wash and start jumping again.

You can run and open resource-boxes. THey go straight to your inventory. No need for extraction.

The alternative is if you land a fight club.
A fight club is where you'll see 3+ people consistently killing each other just outside a DZ door because they're having fun/practicing 1v1ing each other in a good sportsmanlike fashion

The lower paper DPS of the steadyhands LMG versus dps-oriented ARs will be compensated for by the fact that you can build and maintain stacks more easily and, importantly, actually keep landing hits consistently against difficult to hit targets. The +accuracy+stability half of Steady Hands is not trivial and helps you laser targets that would have an AR missing half its shots.

easiest way to get it, is from targeted loot smgs,
the named world bosses in NY are a specific drop source for them, but they are timed and only 3% per kill chance
setting your targeted loot in either summit or countdown to smgs and farming TL will be allot more likely to get you one fast

If you have to ask, whip up a 4 red 2 blue heartbreaker build with crit substats
You "should" be running 6 red heartbreaker but given that you're asking, the extra survivability from your HB stacks will give you a hand
The hard parts are the initial hunters (if your group struggles on these your chances of extracting are almost zero) and the extract (successful extract is worth a lot of extract countdown credits -> which buy exotic caches, so it's most efficient if you can make it out)

Don't use any drone-type deployable skills until you know exactly what you are doing; if it has a separate healthbar when you throw it, the hunters will hack it and turn it against you which is no bueno

Take the crusader shield and the riot foam chemlauncher (riot foam is the best assistance you can give your team when shooting a hunter, if you aren't EMP'd by them already)

This will give you 53% CHC and 105% CHD on an assault rifle, which is roughly "balanced" crit stats, you can push to 60% CHC + 120% CHD if you swap in crit mods instead of protection from elites mods, but everything is an elite in Countdown and you're running 6 red cores so it helps to not die

heartbreaker is super easy to farm as it's a green set, even though it rolls blue major core, you can just look for the relevant mix of crit stats. 1 piece with chance, 3 pieces with damage, and if you use mods to balance your crit out as opposed to Protection from Elites you can cut your farming short; also you can keep 1-2 pieces with blue and it's not the end of the world, the extra HP from HB stacks and on your shield is noticeable)

The Kingbreaker drops from the season track rewards, but in a pinch, use your favorite assault rifle with flatline. AR is important because Countdown has VERY BIG rooms; you will be fighting at ranges where SMGs are ineffective.

no, you're using the HB backpack. THe chest is just a generic Ceska chest with Spotter talent on it.

You could also use the Perfect Spotter chest if you have it; make it 1 of your 2 blue cores to save time

Red core = it has 15% damage as its stat

As opposed to blue core (armor) or yellow core (skill tier)

Again; in theory you'd be best off with 6 red cores aka all damage on all armor pieces, but in practice having 1-2 blue cores will save your life regularly, and it's also easier to farm :V

And at the end of the day, Heartbreaker isn't """"""optimal""""""; it's just really forgiving AND powerful AND easy to farm, so it's a very good "baby's first properly assembled build". Again the logic is: "if you have to ask for a build, then getting a HB build is probably where you're at in terms of skill and time investment"

For most of hte armor pieces, it boils down to farming targetted loot for that armor piece and crossing your fingers
Something about setting the armor type for the targetted loot will cause it to regularly spit exotics at you, often enough that we consider it an inevitable goal and not really "random"

given that you're asking, you can just substitute the Coyote's mask for either Grupo sombra (Crit damage) or Fenris (AR damage). And if you can only get 1 of the 2 crit substats on it, that's fine. It's not the end of the world to have only "1/2" high end pieces while you're farming; the four Heartbreak pieces having crit on them is already good enough.

Once you get the Countdown build it's time to grind your face into Countdown a lot since CD is the game's most efficient source of targeted item drops. According to my math it's actually not the best sources of materials to upgrade things once you're a seasoned player (due to a quirk of the SHD level farming) but... yeah, get familiar with it.

don't worry too much about putting together a "perfect" build then, which is what countdown is good for
Countdown gives VERY little SHD experience. Meaning that focusing on grinding items there will stunt your growth overall. Same with Summit. Try and find targetted loot or a mission you enjoy and that isn't awful and anti-fun (Liberty island, cough, Keener end fight, cough) and run those because you'll earn experience way faster there.

so the first steps for you would be to either find an open world sector with Heartbreak, or Summit if it's not on the map (or if it's on the map on a stupid mission)

Shield is there to give you a small amount of safety when manuevering, it won't hold up under fire since you're gonig to be mostly red, but it just needs to go "DONK" against the first few Hunter bullets so that you're prompted to take proper cover. Not even 6 blue core Crusader shield can stand up against sustained Hunter fire (they do a gorillion damage) so it's not like having more blue would help.

Foam launcher is for when you can catch the Hunter moving around in the open. Landing a foam on him will let your party burn him down, hopefully, in the ~3 seconds or so.

granted, in most parties you'll be constantly disrupted by the Hunter EMP pulse, but sometimes you can find windows in between.

Say you have a 15% amp. That would be (1 + 0.15)x damage. I think your forgetting the 1+ part in doing your math. The 1+ is the damage your doing before anything is applied, so say your adding two 20% buffs together and multiplied to a 15% buff, the math would look like:
(1 + 0.2 + 0.2) x (1 + 0.15)

hearthbreaker is a 100% increase at full 100 stacks with the chest, striker is 200 % with full 200 stacks with chest and backpack, even with jsut chest at 200 stacks its 130%, with both having close to eachothers build layouts, but 200 stacks is harder to get to, i think for the few places where its super benificial now to run hb, that will be striker after the patch if the stats stay the same
