You are misunderstanding. The information you relay to the business owners and managers are not the same information that is given to the worker bees. In this instance we are the worker bees, the business owners and managers are people in Ubisoft. The people actually working on the issue need to give certain detailed information to the people inside Ubisoft on what is going on. The Ubisoft Support Customer Support Liason needs to communicate to the Customers (us gamers) if it is fixed or not and in a time frame that is frequent. Since these are two different positions and teams it costs Ubisoft nothing to communicate. Ubisoft currently is not communicating, which is why there is major backlash on anyplace where people can air their frustrations due to the lack of communication and transparency on this issue.

u wanna know why there rn't any periodic updates? b/c when they do give some and it doesn't work out, ppl start thinking its the end of the world, "oh, u guys said on twitter it would take an hr, but its now been two hrs, boohoohoo". This happens all the time with during those 3hr maintenance times, if devs post they need another hr and that hr passes and the game is still not up, ppl go apeshit. So why would they give an ETA knowing that if they don't meet that deadline, ppl would curse them out

i agree that it is frustrating. i just finally got the game working a day or two ago after 3 days of dealing with Epic Games to fix their end of it as it was not recognizing that i had bought the full game but they had the copy of my transaction that said otherwise, so now to have finally been able to play and then this happen is frustrating to say the least

Yeah I was considering buying a different game to pass the time with since TD2 was either CTD or now it just freezes and switches to windowed mode every 2-5 minutes. But thank you for stating that other games are crashing as well. Thank god I didn't waste any money. You guys have any issues with the in game store also saying 'empty' as well if you go into it through the in game menu?

Might be the start of your troubles. Few days ago I could play with like maybe one or two crashes but get in like 5-8 hours of gametime. Now it's just every two minutes or so it locks up from fullscreen to windowed mode. I even tried the whole, use DX11, turn HDR off, lower resolution to 1080p... nothing working.

The lesson devs should learn from this is that Launcher Bloatware is a bad idea, but one can only dream.

my random other day crash doesn't produce a Windows event, so it's definately minor and game related. It's always early on...like the first time I run the game for the day...and it always happens within a few minutes. Not sure it's worth the headache to make a ticket. I was able to complete a mission, so I'll chalk this up to a BAU crash, not related to the crap from yesterday.

if it were me, first thing i'd try is to lower the graphics settings and see if that helps with cpu/gpu usage; if it doesn't then at least we know its not that; i'd also try some other games to see if your usages spike up high there too, or if its just division

if it remains super high usage even with lowered graphics settings and even in other games with lower settings, then you can rule out the game and start looking at your hardware or drivers - it may seem silly but sometimes it can be as simple as cleaning out dust buildup in your computer

although i only have a 2060 and i run the game at 1440p 140hz on high settings with 140fps so a 2070 super shouldn't be worse; however I think division is a bit more cpu intensive than gpu and i have a ryzen 9 3900x

Well waiting 15 minutes at the loading menu (where your character is on the screen) before actually loading in worked for me and my buddy tonight.. I've had bad crashing and haven't played much, he was having bad crashing and then tried and had no issues... so there just might be something to that....

Haven't had any crash since they made the fix. And incidentally I used to have stutter/lag freeze on occasions (especially during firefights/when things exploded), usually only happened 2-3 times and then it was good for the rest of the session, but since the fix I've barely had any and the one I had lasted hardly 1 second instead of 5-6 like it used to.

Yes just had the crash after starting game for the first time today. (But it's been running great since the fix last week.)

It loaded the world (or well I was standing outside Camp White Oak) and then the "Golden Bullet, Day 6" popped up on the screen and as soon as it faded away again it crashed to desktop silently (no error dialog/window, Uplay still running though, and restarting has worked so far without further crash but not very confidence inspiring).

@sinful schooner If it crashes from DX12, you get a Windows event in the EVENT VIEWER which specifically mentions the Graphics driver. This isn't happening. I honestly think they fixed the DX12 issue...or gave it a damn good try. I've been running DX12 for over a week now without a single graphics driver related crash.

I did the referral thingy with a friend of mine who didn't own the game, she confirmed my invite (I got the mail saying she accepted it) and as she was still unsure whether she'll like the game or not she played the 8 hrs trial first and reached lv8, she then bought the game via ubi connect and we moved forward and did the 3rd mission but neither of us got the friends rewards. Is there any way to have support look into this? Maybe it comes from the fact that she was playing trial version before purchasing it? we did the first 3 main story missions only (2 during trial + 1 after buying) and she confirmed my invite before even starting the game.

Update to an earlier post where I mentioned this problem.

So, for the 4th Iron Horse raid in a row after reset on a Tuesday, I'm not able to pick up the keys. Which means I’m not able to pick up a Ravenous after clearing IH. I’m now down 16 keys (as I’m able to pick up the key from boss 4). The key boxes always show as open with no key to collect from them. I’ve cleared my Xbox cache, reset my modem, reset IH on Normal and Discovery modes and have had other people host the raid. I’ve also cleared IH on a second character and I’m still unable to pick up keys from the key boxes. It means I'm not able to receive a Ravenous and wasn’t able to pick up the last component for my Regulus project.

I’ve spoke to Ubisoft Support and they require video evidence from me to continue with the case. A screen-grab isn’t satisfactory for them.

So, from this part of the conversation, it appears Ubi-XXXX are able to check the number of keys I have. But the fact that my account will also show 1 character only has 1 IH clear, and also only has 1 key, is math I would presume supports my claim.

So, I now have to run Iron Horse again, to yet again not receive any keys from the key boxes, to prove that I’m not receiving the keys, and this time record it. I would of presumed the information that is need could be found within the data within my account. No wonder some elements of the Div 2 community are so vocal about their hurt and frustration with this game!

absolutely love it when the game works totally fine. You leave it for like 1 hour and come back and it stops even launching. You verify game files and there is 1GB that needs to be downloaded. you download that 1GB and after it finishes, it says ubisoft canot bla bla bla i have to verify game files AGAIN to download 1GB AGAIN.
So the only thing left to do is uninstalling the entire game and downloading the entire thing AGAIN

what's been going on with the restorer hive lately? sometimes, it will send out like 10 nano drones all at once to a single agent...and burn itself out in like 2-3 seconds. It just sent about 8 to me in a mission and I had full health. Even if I didn't, it only takes 2 nano-drones to fill my health to full, so why are 8-10 deploying?

is there any way to "force" connecting to specific servers? I play from the EU and I seem to always connect to US East or Asian servers, which hugely impacts my ping. I keep seeing "check your network" messages but the game does not offer to jump to a closer server. The only workaround I found was to use my phone as hotspot

There’s a Find better server option in Social. It will only appears if your ping is very bad. 100-120ms ping is not bad to them.

Hey! I keep trying to play the division 2 today and for the past couple of months, with constant reinstalls of ubisoft connect and the game itself and every time i play it, after a few minutes it closes. What is up with Division 2 constantly crashing after I launch it? It wasn't happening at first, then when I hit lvl 15 it was like 1 crash after launch, sometime after it was 2 and now I'm lvl 30 and it crashes like 3-5 times in a row before I can finally play without constantly restarting it. a note: if you deleted your Division 2 folder in My games folder in Documents, you have to redo your key mapping. ignore this if you play by default from day one.

Hey guy's my exotics weapons wall that is in the firing range is not displaying all of my exotics. What do I mean by not displaying is that their is only the lvl 30 exotics that are displayed. Playing on PC, the game will just randomly flick to desktop as if I've alt tabbed the game, I then need to alt tab or click the icon at the bottom to flick back to the game screen.

Well I found something that worked for me and helped me with the non stop crashing and the maxed CPU/GPU usage; if anybody else is having this problem read this link and follow its settings I haven't had a single crash yet! Join the club that happened to me too, until I tried out the solution i sent, i got constant crashes every 5-6 min. and sometimes it was stable for awhile, the game overloaded my processor so much it would crash or it gave me a bluscreen and I never got one on the game until later on. But once I tried the settings in that article i sent my cpu is no longer maxed out and the game runs much smoother and is more stable than it use to be

I'm coming from a Ryzen 2700x where I'd normally get around 100-120fps (GPU is a 2070 Super, hasn't changed at all) and for whatever reason, when I switched to a new Ryzen 5800x, I'm getting some... interesting results.

I typically haven't had many crashes since the last fix they did, but today it crashed in character selection screen (after about an hour idle or so, played during lunch) but for the first time ever I actually got a Uplay crash reporter popup. Unfortunately I can't see any crash log though, nothing really useful in the log files and the crashes/ folder contained a zero byte called upc.exe_xxxxx.dmp but no data.

I encountered a strange bug today...
In the last boss fight on Legendary DUA, I couldn't swap skills. It said my Riot Foam Chem Launcher was active.
The strange thing is, it didn't show the number of shots I had left and it wasn't always Riot Foam. It showed a green circle indicating it was healing, and strangely, it shot either Riot Foam or Healing. It had a mind of its own.
And, while it was active, I couldn't sprint when not aiming.

No matter how long I waited, I couldn't change this skill.

I did Legendary DUA yesterday with no issues. For the last boss, I was able to change Riot Foam to Sticky Bomb without any issues.

Okay, what's up with 2nd ability being unavailable sometimes? It begin happening couple days ago and I shrugged it off at first. Now it's becoming annoying problem - sometimes my character's 2nd ability (the one that's using E key) gets completely perma blocked. Only teleporting somewhere helps, but you can't really do that in a mission or when capturing CP.

I just had a merit badge problem. I wanted to get my 20 headshot and 10 loot discovered badges. So I just soloed DCD on HARD. I triple checked that I had completed all 20 headshot kills and 10 loot chests...then after completing the mission, I didn't get the badge and my progress dropped to 0 for both.

Hello! Since last tuesday I started having random black screens after playing TD2. I can play Rainbow Six Siege completely fine and without issues, but when playing TD2 I get black screens, sometimes just after entering the game and sometime after few hours of playing. I was lvl 30 gearscore 500 couple days ago with my calibration bench filled to the brim with almost every stat and talent. I go to NY and the whole thing I've spent literally weeks on becomes unavailable. I thought, hey - maybe it will give me back all my hard work after I finish NY campaign, but ...I'm looking at an empty calibration workbench library right now and it only allows me to switch lvl 0-30 to check how much of cool stuff I can not use anymore. Disabling all overlays helped with my freezes/crashes. So overlays from the likes of - Steam, Ubisoft, Geforce Experience, Xbox Game overlay, and RTSS (uninstall this one)

I find Ubisoft games (generally) dont like overlays anyway. DX12 is most likely more twitchy that 11, but the performance is worth it. Also I read that the latest Win 10 update could be a problem for some, but I dont find that.

Another good thing to try is use Intelligent Standby Cleaner (google it) I have it set to clear after 1024mb.

Set "Free memory is lower than" to the number that is your Total system memory (which is shown as the top left figure)

Then after "The list size is at least" - put the amount before it cleans (so 1024 in your case)

Don't mess with the timer resolutions, they should be fine as they are.

Is you mouse stuttering after you are using this app? If it stutters anyway, try reducing the games priority in your task manager.

Task Manager > Details > right click the exe.

I found my mouse stutters in Breakpoint actually, reducing the games priority one level fixed the issue. If its stuttering due to the cleaner app, then maybe try reducing the cleaner apps priority in task manager instead, that might be a fix.

Another thing to try is setting the game to Windowed (Fullscreen) instead of Fullscreen. If you play at 1080 on a non-native 1080 monitor you will have to change your desktop to the desired gaming resolution before you start the game.

Unlike Div1 this doesnt seem to have a detrimental effect on performance, at least on my rig.

Another thing to try, especially if you are in Windowed FS (I should have stated this before really, soz) -

Right click the game .exe > compatibility > disable full-screen optimization checked ON

and directly below that:

Change high DPI settings > Override high DPI scaling behaviour > Application (checked on)

I own a lot of Ubi games, and all of them always need some fiddling about to get them to run nicely (for example, Black Flag needs a core disabled to stop screen stutter!) I don't know why but thats my experience of them.

okay everyone, update:

so i have been having INSANE UNfuckingPLAYABLE crashes constantly nonstop no matter what I did. Any community fix even; crash instantly. I reached out to Ubi support they ran me through some stuff and here I am no crashing, games running in the background as I type this. I am ecstatic. Here's what I did.

-uninstalled all of my redistributables, the Microsoft VCC++ things, all of them (keep note of the ones you have. I restarted my computer. I reinstalled all of them. (google them you'll find the downloads)
-they didnt tell me to do this step but i did i ran bleachbit to clean my computer
-verified the division 2 game files
-went into properties of ubiconnect launcher and made it admin
now the game works just fine for me... for now

Im havcing an annoying bug atm where i click play in epic games store. Ubisoft connect opens. Theres the little loading screen with the anti-cheat thing and then nothing happens, game never actually boots

i have that too, just wait couple mins.. itll launch. if not kill it from task manager, skip the epic store just open the uplay as admin and try again

hmmm ok, seems iv been waiting ages, could anti-virus cause any issues. My fiance using pc installed some and I wonder if uninstalling would make any difference?

those are all the ones i downloaded. i have a 64bit system ryzen 2600x and rx 590. i THINK 2017 and 2019 are installed with some games, like D2 (mine did after i verified files pretty sure)

also, this might break some of your programs. it broke lg ghub for me had to reinstall it and GOG galaxy 2.0

of course man! shit i cant think of anything else to troubleshoot for you. you have all nvidia overlays disabled too? the recording ones idk what theyre called. like mine is radeon with amd
