I’m assuming you had a lvl 40 player in your group and were on his map. Higher difficulties will give more xp. When you first start you only need three or 4000 XP to go up a level it gets progressively higher until you hit 40.

Normally I'd suggest you maybe completed some of the season journey tasks, iirc they can reward xp. However in the current anniversary season I think they just give global event stars that's less likely.

theres a bug where you cannot get the key to open the lock doors for the SHD tech caches, the 2nd one, located underground. The key box is bugged and cannot be opened, this is in realism mode

Okay, good to know! Tried to launch, couldn't launch. Downloaded Ubi Connect and updated, logged in, tried to launch D2 through steam, couldn't verify my ownership. Tried again in admin mode on Steam AND Ubiconnect. Same problem. Googled. Said to re-login to both accounts. Did. Relaunched. NOW it sticks in an "initialized" loop. After 5 minutes of "initialize" it says "can't connect." Google. Says to reinstall Ubiconnect. I do so. Can't even download the installer from Ubi's browser website. Just a big fat this.

Multiple people report sound issues but their reports usually don't contain video clips of the issue. Not sure if it's the same. Personally I haven't heard of a fix other than the recommendation to restart the game... Which, obviously, can be annoying if it happens frequently

This is a known issue since years and it became even worse since the last update.
Textures won’t load after EACH activity and no, I’m not playing on a PS4 or a 15 years old PC.
This is on PS5 Pro.
The only way to fix it is to restart the game.
But it will reappear soon afterwards.

We are also unable to remove the „new improved visuals“ aka the fog on console which makes it even worse.

I can confirm that one NPC from the reinforcements in the Potomac Event Center gets stuck outside the burning pit area a lot, runs to the docks and the mission is F'd. Im having this weird bug where I felt as if my skill tiers suddenly dissappeared, my skills (im using sniper turret) has only 3 shots, and it's very odd because i remember the ammo on it used to be more. It's just advertising it to you. Go talk to the NY pilot at the white house (the one off to the left as you face the main entrance) and then back out of the conversation, and the notifications will go away.

Guys, maybe someone has had this problem. I bought a game on steam and decided to get a shady pack. When launching, I didn't realize that steam had automatically switched to a second account in ubisoft connect, and now I can't launch the game at all because the shady pack is linked to it, and I'm being redirected between accounts, indicating that the game doesn't belong to this account.

depends if the games your playing have cloud save available. div2 saves yours game on the server side so in div2's case, you can delete local saves. if you have other games on ubisoft connect, you may want to back up saves just to be safe

it will reset all your keybinds

okay, deleted everything Ubisoft from my computer. Re-installed Connect, turned off the overlay, installed Div 1, Ghost Recon Breakpoint and Div 2. Breakpoint and Div 1 launch with no issues, when launching Div 2, it gets to the EAC waiting for game bit then dies to the "Oh no, it crashed". At this point it's can't be the Connect program, so it has to be either the EAC is is crap for this game or the game itself is just not recognizing the start command? I submitted a support ticket 3 days ago after the 50th automated 'send crash report' popup but in my files there is no data in the crash report folder.

Run Ubisoft Connect as Admin
Run Div2 as Admin.
Open "Exploit Protection" in windows security.
Click on "Program Settings"
Click on "Add program to customize"
Select "Choose exact file path"
add Division 2, Division 2 Launcher and EAC LAunch from the Division 2 installation directory.

Tick "Override system settings" under "Control Flow Guard" dont tick anything else.

for some reason when I try to fire my gun using a controller, my controller disables itself (completely shuts off, then turns itself back on within a 1-2 second window). I haven't been able to find this issue anywhere else and the controller works fine on other games. This is the only platform I'm having this issue with. I can press the trigger again in the menu and it won't turn off my controller. It's only when firing.

Hello all, I'm at my wits end here and was hoping someone might know something.

Every time I try to launch the game, it crashes immediately on splash screen or flat out blue screens my PC. I have tried every fix i can find and nothing seems to work. I used to play years ago on my old pc and now i cant play on my new pc. I'm running a 4090, i9-13900k, 64gb ram. I can play any game without any issues on max. But after reinstalling D2 to try out realism mode and return to the game, I can't even get into the title screen. All my drivers are updated. Bios is updated. I've tried launching as admin on everything. I tried launching with windows defender off. I deleted all my D2 files from my documents folder. I redownloaded the game to my C drive. Still nothing works. If anyone can help me out I'd greatly appreciate it. Otherwise I guess I'm never playing this game again. The constant Blue screens already gave me a boot issue earlier today that i was able to fix thank god.

on a CPU that already runs insanely hot

youve also disabled dynamic voltage control, on a CPU that has voltage senstivity issues

and a history of melting itself due to poor voltage control

if this fixes your issue your likely no longer running into throttling, what that will also imply I dont know but I would test some less sensitivity things (like undervolting) rather then overclocking on a static voltage

I had tweaked my bios settings a month ago because i was having crashing issues until i realized it was a power issue and fixed it with a APC. I never reverted the changes i made which included undervolting. So i brought it back to 0, changed the overclock on my ram and changed the cpu clock ratio as recommended after enabling intel default which was disabled.

Now the game is starting with no issues at all and running maxed out on DX12 with no issues. Just posting what I did in case someone else runs into this issue as well.

Ah yes, that's a longstanding issue. Toggle the Schaeffer manhunt mission back to regular mission mode and that should unlock Stovepipe for you

and likewise you need the ballpark mission set to regular version not stovepipe before it will let you run the Schaeffer manhunt

I reinstalled Ubisoft Connect. I’ve put the 3 files into exploit protection and toggled CFG to off, but D2 still hangs at launch before EAC. My problem may be EAC. When I try to open EAC EOS.exe in Div2 folder, it won’t open. I’ve tried to repair it under command prompt and it won’t execute. I’ve tried deleting EAC folder and verifying files, but it still won’t open. Even if I run as administrator, I get a flash of a window which immediately closes. Under services, I have one EAC (Epiconline) service. When I try to start it, I get an error 87 parameter is incorrect.

I don't think so.
NVCleanstall is just a driver debloater.
as long as you have the driver the game should still run.
EAC is kernel level and checks for game file integrity or mod menus.

Ok so, I'm play on PS4 and for some weird reason I'm getting Mike-01 on the division 2and Delta on the division 1. I started troubleshooting a little and got some conclusions:
-It's not maintenance time.
-it's not network related bcs I tried other access points, and everything else works just fine (PSN, other online games)
-It's not account related, because I restored my main account license and even tried an alternative account, it didn't work.
-and it's not the console, I restarted and reconfigured the wifi settings.

I will try downloading other Ubi games to see if they are alright.

It's so weird, it's like Ubi just hardware locked my console or something

PS: I found the solution, basically the time setting of my console was manual instead of automatic, and it made impossible for the PS4 verify the ubi SSL certificates due to time mismatch, automatic time setting fixed that.

Will it work in my case? When the game fails to launch my whole PC freezes and I have to restart. I think it’s an issue with EAC, because the launch stalls before EAC. I can’t get EAC to start or manually repair. Even under admin it just flashes a screen for a spit second.

I got Process Monitor and ran it twice, once with EAC setup and once with D2. I got long lists of mostly "success" but a bunch of "name not found." Not sure what I'm looking for, but this makes me think maybe EAC is is launching even if I can't manually start it, and the problem lies elsewhere. "name not found." is mostly Registry entries, it's ok. You need to setup proper filters, open Filters (CTRL+L):

Process Name -> is -> EACLaunch.exe -> include (add this filter)
Operation -> contains -> file -> include (add this filter)
Path -> contains -> set here path to you game's folder -> include (add this filter)

the game is awarding the stats upon you getting the gun, those stats are loaded into memory (ram) and then downloaded to your save file. you can see them and it still works like that in your live game. but the second ram is cleared (you exit the game) and your save file is loaded into ram again ( you boot the game back up) it pulls the real values

also funny how bad div's anti cheat is at detecting mismatches in memory and save files

I know this might not be the ideal place, but I’m wondering if anyone else here is dealing with VRAM memory leaks in The Division 2.
My VRAM usage keeps climbing until it maxes out the 8 GB on my GPU, even though I’m playing at 1080p, all settings on low, and 50% resolution scaling. At this point I’m out of ideas. :
When I launch the game, VRAM usage sits below 5 GB, but it slowly increases over time and hits the 8 GB limit after around 10–20 minutes of gameplay. Once that happens, I get heavy stuttering and FPS drops from 120+ down to under 10 in extreme cases.
System specs:

Ryzen 5 5600
RX 7600 (8 GB VRAM)
16 GB RAM @ 3200 MHz
Playing on Steam

Probably best to just focus on clearing the invasion (three strongholds then tidal basin) and come back to this later. Make sure you claim your specialisation if you haven't already. So, anyone else getting crazy washed out time of day lighting in the game? PC, HDR10 on, HDR10 capable monitor (AW3423DWF), fog blur option off, neutral lighting on or off. The thing is it doesn't happen all of the time but when it does happen it's kind of whack. When I'm indoors it's fine. When I'm outdoors it gets extremely blown out.

It's very annoying as noticed with the Camp White Oak photos. I could not see anything at all and was just shooting at the little icons. It's why I had included video as well because it comes and goes like someone flicked a light switch depending on the time of the day
