You can activate/change/deactivate your current companion in the seasonal modifier menu

If you have one selected it doesn't matter which other type you add to your collection, the active one remains. You will have to change them in that menu

I can’t recruit defectors, i didn’t do the tutorial and now its missing

Unlocking tidal basin requires completing the base storyline leadup: all missions in story difficulty up to Capitol Building, then the three invaded strongholds, then a new side mission that appears. Everything from Capitol onwards must be done in your own session, can't join someone else.

Not sure why zoo would be locked, unless it's invaded, in which case just toggle mission mode from the mission options. You might have to complete it on story difficulty to unlock the rest of the difficulties.

Any one that is totally free is likely just a crypto miner, and any that have a free version are rarely worth it.
If you're going to be using it for any kind of long term purpose, getting a good paid one is pretty important.
Just do some research into the various options, maybe you'll find a decent one with a free trial, but I wouldn't put money on it.

hello guys, on division 1 ps5 still records in only 30FPS while I have the 60FPS update. There arent any settings change this; in recordings & broadcasts the only thing I can change is recording codec.
GTA5 on the other hand records on 60fps just fine. I was wondering if this is maybe an a possible setting the devs have to check on their ps5 content platform if that is even a thing?

Solved this myself so here's how in case someone else runs into it later: What I had to do was go into my library, into the Ubisoft+ section specifically, search for the game there, and download the Ubisoft+ version of the ultimate edition from there.

I've tried stuff I've seen from reddit threads like setting to full screen

(immediately switches back to windowed) then closing game and reopening it and setting full screen.

If you're using the hot keys (that you have to hold for a second) to save/delete/etc then you have to not move the cursor at all while holding them.
Just clicking the button at the bottom should work too.

Hello! I'm having trouble logging into the game. When I launch the game through the Steam launcher, Ubisoft Connect says that this account doesn't have access to the game, but another account does, and I'm logging in with the account that has the game activated. My Steam and Ubisoft accounts are linked; I checked. This started after I purchased add-ons for the game on Steam. My game recently started to make some trouble... Upon startup i get graphical artifacts (as seen in the picture). At first its flickering on/off but after a while it stays like that.
It's only happening in this game... other games (2nd picture) do not happen to have this graphical artifacts.

Those artifacts can't be seen in screen captures nor in screenshots.
I already verified the game files and did a clean install of my graphics driver.
Even tried another Display Port cable.

Is this a bug or am I not remembering something I still need to do? It's been a while since I unlocked a specialization and my main char has all of them unlocked. On my 2nd, 3rd and 4th chars there are 2 or 3 not yet unlocked. But pic shows all research completed? Only 3 points available for allocation? Do I still need to earn them, even though all research objectives are finished?

Since you have done all of the research on one character, the others have them all unlocked. Since all of them are cosmetics, they get shared between characters

So, simply put you have completed the research for your entire account

I also noticed that the last two green sets are not saved to apply their appearance on other equipment.

I understand that this is not a critical error, but it has been a long time and this is the first thing you see when you start playing. And so it is with many handles. it spoils the impression.

You installed the PTS version of the game. You need to install the actual game

PTS stands for Private Test Server and is a branch of the game to test stuff before it goes live in the actual game. Don't think that's active anymore for Div1 anyway.

This is a known bug, the mission icon will just stay highlighted and not 'grey out', but that doesn't mean it's not complete, it's just a minor visual issue that can be ignored.

Iirc you have to make sure you call for backup before clearing the defending waves, otherwise it doesn't count.
Captures during retaliation won't work, but abandoning a retaliation is an easy way to get the enemy faction to take over the control points you need.

I have recently come across a bug that randomly happens and doesn't stop until I log out of Div2 on my PS5.
After shooting a quick burst with either primary or secondary weapon, audio can be heard of the weapon continuing to fire even when the shoot button isn't pressed and the controller vibrates as well. Hello, can anyone see the recruiter outfit in the store right now? I was able to see it twenty minutes ago, long after refresh, and when I restarted my game to force-apply the premium credits I had just bought onto my account (steam issue), the outfit was gone. It was in the permanent apparel bundle section for me as well, somewhere under R6 or stinger, but NOT in the rotating store bundles menu. Did the game bug out and show it in a place it wasn't, or is it supposed to still be there? I’m noticing that some of the weapons that were progressing in proficiency and that had been completed in proficiency are back to zero. I’m not sure what’s going on.

I have also been having trouble with my completing activities showing as progressing.

Another issue I’ve noticed is that my graphics change every day. I’m so confused as to why I have to set these settings back to where I had them more than three times a day.

There are times I have to log out of my account, restore my license and restart my system just to get things to work properly.

@tropic wadi Clear the entire zone of any red activities, and you'll get them to spawn before too long.
It's best to think of getting green activities to spawn as making sure a large enough radius is empty.

e.g. focus on a few nearby red things just outside of the zone too.

Also do other "green activities" and don't wait for them to despawn and another one to spawn, takes way too long. Once you clear one another one will spawn pretty soon after. What activity spawns is random but it shortens the waiting time

The patch altered how controller aiming works. There was nothing in the patch notes about it

Getting into cover and moving to the end of the cover where the FOV expands, that's when it happens. Seems like the stick deadzone gets a lot bigger, the look sensitivity is reduced, and the sensitivity curve might even be altered. It doesn't affect ADS though, and it also only works while looking forward? This is a mess

Y'all, for almost a month now I've been getting the same dolphin-028 error. I've stated my case and all the things I have tried before Ubisoft, they have kindly sent me all the same exact troubleshoots I initially attempted. I've seen that this issue is somewhat common. I originally played td2 on the Ubisoft Connect Launcher. But now that it doesn't work, I purchased it for cheap on Steam. I figured that I tried everything, so might as well get the game on a working launcher. This didn't fix it, and now there's a brand new season out and I still cannot even launch the game. The last thing that the Ubisoft Help people said to me is that my case is "Escalated" its been days now since then. It is not my account, it is purely local to my set up, because I can sign in perfectly fine on other devices on my network. Here is one of my messages I sent to Ubisoft Help:

The Ubisoft Connect client won't allow me to log on. Once I provide my email address and password, I'm prompted for my two-factor code, but after entering it I get the error:

"there was an error during your login to ubisoft connect. please restart your client and try again. (error dolphin-028)"

I can log in to the Ubisoft website just fine.

Things I've tried:

• Restarted my PC
• Reinstall the Ubisoft Connect application
• Completely remove Ubisoft references from the Windows registry after uninstalling (then reinstalling)
• Reset my password and enable two-factor authentication
• Clear the cache by deleting "C:\Users\MyUsername\AppData\Local\Ubisoft Game Launcher"
• Renewing my DHCP lease
• Lowering my ethernet card MTU to 1430
• Change DNS
• Reset the network switch I'm connected to (other people in the house can connect via the Connect client just fine)

It seems that my authentication is working but the Ubisoft Connect client isn't allowing me to connect no matter what is tried. Is this something you can help me with, I'm beyond frustrated?

Just a shot in the dark, I'd really appreciate if y'all have anything!

So I somehow got a lullaby and its mods in my mailbox, after I created a new character to try the new mode, i was able to take the lullaby but the mods stuck in the mailbox. Is this a bug? I try creating a new character in the normal mode to try and get mods but they don't even show up in the mailbox, and I am pretty sure all my new characters where suppose to get a level 1 lullaby after creation, but I don't see it anywhere.

Yes, To be completely transparent, I didn't have a level 40 character, so I thought that might be the problem.

So I bought the latest DLC with the boost from the shop.
I boosted my character to level 40 to see what would happen, but still nothing apparently. ^^

(However, I don't regret my purchase; the game seems to have become incredible. I was planning to get the expansion and I also made a few purchases in the shop to help the division at my level ^^)

Haven't dug into the threads much yet, but I'm constantly running into an issue where I just get a black screen upon launch. No splash screens, Uplay notif (the one in top right telling you how to open the menu), etc. Only way to "fix" was updating my driver but now there is no driver to update to.

I've verified files, reinstalled, and a few other tips i've found online. Very confused at this point.

While I've seen others occasionally report similar issues, I haven't seen anyone give a solution other than getting ubi support to fix it for them. They're generally pretty slow so just hang in there and reopen the ticket if it gets auto-closed, and you should get somewhere eventually.

This rancid "cinematic" filter (yellow/blue gradient) is really undermining the realism and strengths of the snowdrop engine. Just looking at the greens in game and they look way worse than before. Putting an instagram filter on the game without a toggle is an oversight. Bought cosmetics dont look like they did in preview (this is a big issue), and overall the game looks cheap, whereas before the colour grading was pretty much always bang on. Please add a toggle, in 10 years of playing these games this is the most disapointed I've been with it.

If you get either beforehand from an anniversary cache you won't get a bp

You have two options:

1. Via Ubisoft discord (the invite link can be found in #rules), pick your matching roles and scroll down to the Division 2 Game Support section. Look up the thread that already mentions this, react with an upvote and state your case

2. Via Ubisoft homepage, creat a support ticket and provide all necessary info they ask for. Attach meaningful screenhots to showcase the issue

The game has a throttled fps when windows focus is on a different program, so it's possible you've got some other program running that is pulling focus. Try closing down any background apps.

Also check your full screen/windowed settings, see if changing them helps
