And I was on the 2nd control point west Potomac park on outcast. I was treated unfairly!! I got a bug where the Hard to Earn Directive from the Summit has been transferred to my open world and it has taken over my Pistolero Directive, which leaves me with an always active Pistolero Directive that I cant turn off. Anyone else have something similar and knows how to remove it? EDIT: The bug was removed after I made a DH raid and completed it, the Hard to Earn Directive had been change to Pistolero and then I was able to remove it. Hopefully that might help someone else in the future.

This happens to me daily. For me, I clear the error screen and try again and it loads up. Sometimes I have to do it twice. You shouldn’t have to uninstall or reset console as it appears to be a server issue on their end.

I think there’s a problem with Retaliation. When I play solo, I suddenly lose even though I still have enough time, and when I play with multiple people, we all have different timers to complete the retaliation. I don’t think this is how it’s supposed to work.

Black = no green control points in that zone, dark orange = at least one green/white cp, one red/white cp, bright = all green cps.
Dark orange bars get you rof buff, bright ones get you rof+damage.
It's actually related to the current season's base modifier, not retaliation exactly.

I will say, that I've had almost no CD crashes at all, and I rarely ever host them.
There's a better than average chance that the crashes aren't related directly to that, and it's somewhat random.
If it was an easy fix, it probably would've been fixed by now.

Well, I used Steam's recording, but only for the purpose of this recording (and even then, recordings aren't this bad).

I have absolutely no clue as to why this is happening, I have nothing else open (even if I have a Firefox tab, the game ran just fine).

is anyone having problems with The Division 2 stuttering or crashing lately? For the last few days, my game has been randomly tanking to single digit fps for at least a few minutes until it either crashes or resolves itself sometimes. Hey, I have an issue but I can‘t find any solutions online, maybe some of you here already dealt with it before. When I got the game I bought it on ubisoft and played it over there. But I for some reason really like steam with the playtime counter and achievement systemc so I bought the game again in a hefty sale on steam. Online I heard that you don‘t have to redownload, you can just copy over the files from ubisoft to steam and that worked fine. But the achievements never worked and online someone said to uninstall in ubisoft and steam and then redownlod through steam, so that‘s what i did. Now I downloaded the 80gb game on steam, but when I want to open it in steam it just redirects me to ubisoft where I have to download the game again

Yeah there's a bug where sometimes missions stay invaded after their week has finished (think it happens if you complete an invaded mission then toggle it back to invaded before the week ends).
If you toggle it to regular version now, you won't be able to toggle it back to invaded.

Does it fail outright from the jump after the logos, or can you see your character but it fails when you connect?

So I ran wireshark, and logged into my account and then quit. If you're willing, I have a list of IP addresses you can ping to see if any of them fail. This would at least tell you whether or not the connectivity issue is something that's fundamental or if it's something else. You can also run the nslookup command on those same IPs and see if they return a DNS name. This will confirm DNS functionality. Bear in mind that some of the IPs may not have DNS entries as they're meant to be direct connected via IP

Some also may not respond to ping as they're set up to receive specific requests, like HTTPS or other server services

Depends on what function the IP serves. Some of them may just be load balancers or regional routing so you connect to the best server

So I am assuming that the IPs I got from Wireshark were game server or service related IPs, as they are all unpingable, and only two of them have DNS entries

So having you ping those wouldn't help

Oh I found one you can try. It's for static3.cdn.ubi.com but it resolves to an akamitechnologies domain

That MAY be for the launcher though but there's a LOT of traffic to that IP when the game starts, all HTTPS, probably for the login server

If you can get to the menu where you see your characters, then you're getting into the login server fine though

I've found some other IPs as well, these look like they might be load balancers or regional server redirects. They resolve to the same domain but have two different IPs. Probably for an east coast server since it says east1 in the name.

For some reason the Division 2 game window minimizes to taskbar as soon as it starts. Clicking the game in taskbar brings it back up but it goes straight down again. Tried restarting game and ubi connect, still happens.
Update: I solved it by pressing alt+enter after maximizing the game window which brought it to window mode and stayed maximized. Then I switched to windowed fullscreen in settings and it stays maximized. Don't know what caused it but glad I fixed it 🙂

I have purchased the Dallas Outfit from the Store yesterday together with some PAYDAY masks. The masks are already in my inventory, but the outfit is still not in my inventory, although it says "OWNED" in the store.
I cannot equip it through the store, as the Equip button is still greyed out

After multiple tests and community observations, it seems that these exotic kneepads are completely unbalanced or not working as intended. The damage bonus can stack up to extremely high levels — in some cases, reaching over 600% increased damage for the agent.

This level of power completely breaks the game’s balance. With these kneepads equipped, enemies (even elites and named bosses) can be eliminated in just a few seconds, which destroys both the tactical depth and the intended gameplay experience of The Division 2.

If this stays in the live build, it will completely destabilize both PvE and PvP balance. I strongly urge you to review this item immediately and either adjust or temporarily disable it until a proper balance fix can be applied.

Division 2’s strength lies in its strategic combat and fair challenge — extreme damage multipliers like this undermine the entire system and risk ruining the long-term enjoyment for many players.

As it stands right now, the item does not work as described. It’s supposed to let the player take or absorb the damage from the marked enemy, not boost outgoing damage.
Currently, however, no enemy gets marked, and instead the player’s damage output is increased by 600%, which clearly doesn’t match the description and seems to be a major bug.

I’ve been cheated out of idk how many since i’ve been grinding and it’s reset multiple times without a single cache. i think it has to do with the game mixing up your dz xp with your season xp because i lose season xp when i die and now it’s not synchronized, so i just gain season xp but without the caches. lol bravo ubisoft amazing

The filters are automatic and not manually approved, like on this discord itself.
So it can be a little picky about the phrases, as sometimes people will use them to....attempt to circumnavigate them.

if you already did and have companions but it still does not show as completed, then support ticket with Ubi is your next step 🤔

i pretty much doubt its intended since i could already unlock the first spearhead with that mission near the east DZ at level 30. i could even run around with him giving orders...but then i went to new york..did some quests there and when i got back....the spearhead was suddenly locked with level 1 and round about 300 exp.

Hey folks - What @pulsar moat is acurate in that the game is** just not working**. I do not recommend doing anything to your PC settings, DX, or what-not. Just let Ubisoft continue to work on it. It is a server disconnect issue. The server disconnects and then the game shuts down automatically to keep from hard-locking. Ubisoft knows about it. Best thing we can do is chill for now.
