Hello, I am having an issue where any of my level 40 characters can not trigger things with emotes. This includes summoning the hunters that require it but also there is a puzzle in the marina classified mission that i have to wave at the camera and it will not trigger. I can do these things on my level 30 at that is at wt5 but both my level 40 characters after finishing the expansion can no longer trigger things with emotes. Any ideas of why this is and a workaround?

div 1 won't start at all, tried both dx11 and dx12, have restarted pc, closed all backround processes, tried stopping in-game overlay, reinstalled, tried 60fps, verified plenty of times, tried all windows modes, nothing works.

There might be a chance that someone will be able to offer more suggestions eventually but I'd also recommend opening a ticket with Ubi Support in the meantime. It sometimes takes a while for them to get back to you, so the sooner you open one the faster the issue might be fixed, if nobody in here can help. 🙂

Now run it all again solo, and make sure you stop and listen any time someone's talking to you ingame regarding the manhunt, and if you're very lucky it won't bug out again

My advice from someone who had terrible problems with it
Once reset, do any of the Missions not marked "Replay" first, complete it absolute on your own, with no additional modifiers, once you do the rescue and go back to the castle, Interact with the NPC but remain nearby, dont walk off until they've finished talking.

SSD plays a crucial role for initializing the game but the ram is more important afterwards. Screen freezes are either ram/graphics card issues or network instability.

So, did the manhunt and now Birdie is showing at the Castle, but I am unable to talk to her. Did the last mission with a friend and they were able to talk to Birdie with no problem. Would running the mission again fix this or would I need to do more of the manhunt again? This is on Xbox.

If you get a random rogue agent spawn at that point then it breaks the mission, it's a well established bug. Have to reset unfortunately.

they have never fixed that and never will. its has been with us since day one! this game is about to be broken with the next season. if they put gear lock on, then goodbye to group playing and fun. i mean it makes a lot of sense to give 16 loadouts to save and all this gear and then lock it on you so u can't use it. . i don't know why or where this idea came to be. they are going to discourage group playing with that. group playing is already discourage with a lot of things that won't count in a group especially during star events . this is another step backwards and i expect many clan members to drop as they have already stated they would if gear lock comes to be.

That broken rope at the construction site side mission/bounty location has been broken forever, and they fixed that in the PTS, so there's reason to hope (the summit combat commendation wasn't fixed though).
They've also said they're NOT implementing the combat lock in pve yet.

you can only optimize up to your recal library, so it might be not bugged. also recal is not working for exotics is intended. you need to reconfigure if you want different 3rd attribute.

I can confirm that Ubi are able to restore a deleted character, even if someone else hijacked your account and did it.

Lullaby is only available to people who bought the extra paid thing that includes it (you should have a lvl 1 one in your inventory somewhere if you did).

My average FPS while gaming are 140-150. But in some unperiodically time frames the fps drops to 90, game stuffers and going back to 140.

GPU usage is around 60% and CPU are around 25% usage…

I can notice this only in Darkzones.

Any ideas?

I was thinking about a CPU bottleneck due to bad Multi Threat game usage but idk.

Or could it be, that the SnowDrop Engine are AMD optimized and only intel CPUs experience those problems?

I bet the nemesis 3 times in 3 separate weeks and I am still stuck at 7/52 collectibles, it should be 10/52 tho. as far as I understand, I can get 1 collectible per week per the weekly descent project. the project was also always marked as complete in these 3 weeks but no further collectibles for descent were unlocked. somehow stuck at only 7.

since the update before this fix, there have been a number of issues. . ammo not correct. makes the rock n roll into a non named shotgun. ammo loss, doors won't open after checkpoint in DUA, GRAND WASHINGTON, TOMBS, JEFFERSON TRADE, ETC. any chance of this getting fixed, can't finish missions might be an issue to fix?? maybe???. also sharing loadouts is not working correctly for the turret skill mods. will not send over to stash box. wouldn't be great if all this was working again like it was before the last update.

You brought back the Legacy manhunt comms but you forgot to bring back 3 collectibles from Lau's manhunt and that is "Lost Ellis Memos" Database Collectibles Which was automatically obtained After listening to Lau's encrypted message for Kelso in "meet with Kelso" side mission before starting the manhunt , but ofc that season is long gone and there is no way to obtain it , Please add these missing collectibles beside the legacy manhunt comms which you brought back .

I'm opening some clan caches and my inventory count seems bugged. When I open one of the caches my inventory count doesn't change. It's stuck at 98/150 but if I add up all of the gear categories I have 155 items rn. Even if I move one of the pistols to my stash and back the count doesn't change at all

Fixed it by reinstalling ubisoft connect in the hope that it would put me back to the non beta version (it didn't), but td2 loaded again :/

Don't play on wireless? Restart your router? Get closer to router? Use a cable or a homeplug? Make a "Cantenna" - but not the complicated way seen on websites. Just use a pringles can, a wireless dongle, a usb cable and some tape 😉

Hello everyone. I'm new to Division 2 and I'm having a problem (or at least I think so) with the game's audio. Namely, I can't hear some things, such as the character's gait.

The error stops when I enter buildings. Outside of buildings, I have no sounds of my character, especially movement. I feel like the character is "dead" and has assassin mode turned on, which doesn't make any sounds, haha

I know what you mean though, although the only sound that's dropped for me outside is the environment sounds. But I did a bounty (in a building) a few days back where I lost all sounds except for the environment sounds, no guns, no drone, no enemies 🤨

Heya, got a bug currently that I am trying to spread the word on.

Apparently certain items purchased in the store (Such as apparel items and season passes) with premium credits has somehow locked me out from equipping them. [More on the image in post]. I have waited for 5 hours, restarted the game, uninstalled and reinstalled, opened a ticket 14 days ago (still no response to this day), and so on.

I don't know if this is a common bug or if this is only an account only issue. If you have any answers, please let me know as I have about 5 items that I'm somehow unable to equip at all [Which all I spent using premium credits]

i have a few bugs since the update. ammo is short, rock n roll named shotgun has 20 rounds. suppose to be 30. the damage mod for the turret will not move with loadouts to and from the stash box. what a pain that is. headhunter talent works off and on. ninja bike backpack throws all weapon and skill dmg out of wack, even in the negative dmg indicated with a minus sign on dmg. ???? the memento backpack doesn't always give the bonus armor or refresh with kill confirm pickups. foundry bulwark materials lost and breaking it down doesn't share across characters. the lengmo has no limit. there are a few other bugs, so many can't remember all. P.S. found that the dmg mod for the turret does not register as inventory.

hey guys me and my friend need some help - we tried asking the reddit and were just told "crashing is normal" and our thread was closed - my friend is crashing non stop - on average he crashes without end every 10-15 minutes - every mission we do he crashes at least once but normally 2-3 times and i have to take cover and just pray i survive until he returns - the frequency is definitly not normal! we've been playing off and on since launch and it has NEVER been this bad or frequent! he recently got a new computer and this is the first time playing it on this one - like i said the crashes are litterally an average of every 10 or so minutes without end and sometimes when i activate my pulse it instantly closes his game so it just is clearly something weird

Get ready to read. I'll explain what I've done to fix my crashes.
Set the game priority to high via regedit, (DM for more info).
When the easy anti cheat is loaded, go to task manager under the details, and change the priority to low, and set the affinity to cpu 0 only.
Change the resolution to windowed fullscreen.
If your using the dx 11 render and crashing try dx 12, if your using the dx 12 render then change to dx 11.
Set the fps cap to a frame rate you can consistently get.
I must ask what hardware your friend is using, since I've made custom presets for my particular hardware. (AMD CPU\GPU)

Also Rivens if you were replying to me. I fixed that black screen issue with the tinkering station by changing my loadout from my tank build to a different loadout. Then just navigated through the menu to each piece and tinkered from there. #unofficial-troubleshooting message

That is probably your best bet. If you are running DirectX 12 that could also be the issue. Ive had it where it has been fine but then tanked every so often. I just use DX 11 now because there isnt much of a noticable drop in quality

i recently tried to take Ghost mask for a friend (i have done it before myself)
after a series of tries, i suddenly noticed that when you salute any grave-while facing both the grave and the monument- the player does not encounter any UI glitch similar to EMP
thus there's no interaction option showing up even though we've saluted all 3 graves correctly

the session owner did not killed the hunter before
and we were sure the time in game was night and before saluting the graves - we've interacted with the console in the basement of the Control Point

i keep getting connection lost when trying to open ubisoft connect. i got into the launcher once tonight but that was after uninstalling both ubisoft and div 2 and reinstalling ubisoft connect.
but ive checked my firewall, disabled anti-virus, reset my router, restarted my pc, and just about every thing else i can think of to try and get a connection to the launcher to go through.

Does anyone know how to stop enemies with directives from appearing in descent mode? Not counting the named enemies that deal shock, fire, and electricity damage at the same time... they even shoot missiles and flamethrowers at the same time... not to mention the ones that shoot bomber drones every 2 seconds!
I would love to have a game developer and ask them to their face why they add so much nonsense to the game but they are not able to fix things that have been broken since they launched it!

1. The most important change that should be implemented in The Division 2 is either improving stability and operation with the DirectX 12 API enabled or adding this option in brackets as (experimental mode). Many new players complain about game freezes and they have no idea that the game runs very stable in DX11.

2. Instead of adding skins to weapons and characters, it would be useful to add new effects to skills. There are still empty slots there, and it would be nice to use this as a new reward element.

3. Dmg among players is currently so high that Tom Clancy's game on heroic level becomes a running and shooting game instead of a tactical game. So the name "heroic" loses its meaning when we keep buffing players and NPCs don't get new abilities. Either changing the names of the difficulty levels or some new ones would be useful. There is a huge empty gap between Heroic and Legendary levels.

This is due to players only shooting at NPCs instead of using what is implemented. It's like shooting drones or robots. It's just time inefficient.

Use the demolisher skill and you take away all the nPC's special abilities and they can only shoot with regular weapons if they still survive.

There are over 40 skills here and each situation can be solved in many ways other than shooting.

Two things I noticed in the video

1. High ping in almost all clips
2. If you didn't have high ping, you had SHD Exposed on.
   Try testing if it continues to happen this week, because I was frustrated with it aswell - but never happened to me before SHD Exposed.

Not sure about deleting but overwriting sometimes just bugs and doesn't save when you use the hotkey, you can either try bunch of times until it works, or use the cursor to click the hotkey prompt at the bottom of the screen.

When people are playing Descent , suddenly one of the members would be teleported back to Loop 1 while still in the group and he/she can't interact with anything or even do something and he has no choice other than to leave the descent and the time spent would be wasted .... since you have no checkpoints for descent and tons of issue

Also looks like I can get the game to launch when I remove the EAC certificated folder, but then the game hangs because of EAC... so this all seems to be an EAC issue?

The UI tracker thing doesn't specify difficulty but if you check at the spec desk in the white house quite a few of the tasks have some minimum difficulty requirement. You should be able to change the difficulty from the mission menu after the first time you complete it.

While the bug might have been introduced with Project Resolve, there's one common denominator with every clip of that bug that has been shared in here - bad ping.
The only outlier is one clip from SHD Exposed with regular ping where it also happens - and I personally only experienced the bug in SHD Exposed (because I mostly solo).
If you have a clip of this happening to you without a warning of bad ping / without SHD Exposed - then it can get properly bug reported to MSV. But if not, it's gonna be faulted under bad ping.

It's a guessing game at this point, because of how the crash happens, but ideas include:

• Removing the current Display Driver

1. Download and use DDU - Display Driver Uninstaller - to completely remove your old display driver.
2. Reboot
3. Download and install insert older version driver from Nvidia's webpage.
4. Reboot
5. Repair and verify Division 2
6. Start game

• Manually updating Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributables
• Try running less RAM modules (this one is kinda grasping) or changing XMP settings

My best buy sells Division 2 Premium Credits digital codes. However, they ONLY sell the ones that say Xbox on it. Will the code also work for my Ubisoft account since I only have Division 2 on PC via Uplay? I'm using a best buy store card to buy it. So, can't buy it from the Ubisoft store. I posted it in the Ubisoft discord, but it wouldn't let me actually create a case on the support site. It kept failing to create.

does anyone have a solution to random fps drops? the game was running fine until abt 2 days ago and now its pretty much unplayable every time i try to launch. ive uninstalled and reinstalled and checked all my drivers, lowered settings as much as i could (they were like medium and running around 60fps perfectly fine) but nothing seems to be working

I disabled Ubisoft Overlay in Uplay. The game will ask to reenable it on start but you can skip the message and play. Solved on my end the hart fps drops wich make the game feel stuttering.

does anyone know why ubisoft connect suddenly can't connect to the internet when I run it? I opened a ticket about it on the website but I haven't gotten a reply. Sorry new to game, is there a way to make name tags on team mates smaller, or even my hud info next to my character smaller? or to hide stuff? When in countdown all I see are name tags washing over the enemies.

Sadly cannot change size of name tags, but there's som HUD customization to move it around, change size - can't remember which menu it is in, but it's quite easy to find

Memento buff not always working since update. again. i see the ammo is still screwed up. you guys are repeating the mistakes from 4 years ago. the devs 4 years ago screwed around with the ammo and left it the way it was for 4 years. and now we are back to losing ammo every time we swap weapons. i guess learning from mistakes of the past doesn't apply to ubisoft.

I noticed a friend of mine who I play with regularly (who is on the other side of the globe effectively - hes in colombia Im in australia), keeps having issues where he'd be constantly announced via ubisoft he is disconnected and reconnected regularly but hes stil there, however, we've noticed that during descent, as soon as it happens he gets dropped from the session. Any ideas? Happens if I have joined his session or he has joined mine

I dont know what developers did but 20.3 on PC impressed me.

I noticed an average fps increase by 20 and the micro stutters are completely gone. Very stable, very smooth play.

1. Game home screen is blank;
2. Blurred weapon and clothing textures;
3. Hud does not appear, both pve and pvp;
4. It takes time to load the game;
5. When he dies you need to restart the game;

7. Invitation to join a session as a guest does not appear;

1. Broken Armour directive is STILL bugged. This has been the case for years now and is a known bug.

2. Since the new updates, when performing a partial reload, the +1 in the chamber disappears on weapon swap. Disabling ammo directives and restarting the game does not fix this.

I've actually found a somewhat patchwork fix for the broken armour bug.
basically, don't heal your armour whilst under the effect of a Status Effect and it'll be pretty much fine.

not exactly useful info for when you are burning to death, but it's better than nothing.

On another note, the Mantis doesn't properly show who targets you and who doesn't. Not sure what broke that this update, but it's kinda detrimental for the weapon. Not that you can't tell in case the NPC is currently firing, but for those cowering in cover it's a bit annoying

Would you rather know the workaround or not? The bug is frustrating but can be entirely avoided by making sure you're not under any status effect when using an armor kit.
