I think they should keep the already existing raid exotics as a guaranteed per 1 time completion. Then make it have a chance to be pulled from the crate. And then make a newer, exclusive exotic, have the same drop chance. Kinda like how incursion has their crate set up where you have a chance to pull 2 exotics. 1 being ouro and the other being whatever

So you could run the raids, get the exclusive weapons that were tied to them as a guaranteed reward, then make newer exclusive exotics tied to 10% drop chance like it used to... Buuuut make the crate act like Incursion and have a chance to drop 2 exotics. Of course 1 of them being a new exclusive, the other being any possible exotic. Including what would be former raid exotics. Would make doing the raids worth it and still uphold the same value the old raid exotics once had

Specialization: Gunner

You can use any AR with a relatively high RoF, Carbine 7, Police M4 preferably. Also, St. Elmo's Engine is very good (exotic AR). As secondary you can use an ACS12 with the talent Brazen, or a Converted SMG-9 with the talent Unwavering

Once you got that build set you can farm for the Overdogs exotic gloves to replace the Coyote's mask. I'd go in that order because it seems to take much longer on average to get your hands on the Overdogs. But, if you wish, you can go farm for those gloves right away.

In all honesty, I understand the PoV of not wanting to use skills. If you take the other popular lootershooters with their implementation of skills,you could either completely ignore them or just consider them buffs to keep on and thats it. Even i dont really enjoy or use the skills in this game and try to go as passive as possible and just focus on shooting

the difference there compared to here - not using the skills or just use them for buffs can actually be beneficial to you. in div2,you just forego a huge part of your toolkit which is detrimental to overall performance in a noticable manner

Ya Countdown works great, good choice. Now, try farming for an Equalizer chest and Overdogs gloves. Alternatively (because it might be faster) try getting a Coyote's mask and an Equalizer chest. A Ceska chest with Oberliterate will work too

If you just started to play and are on a fresh character the initial phase might be played solo, because most players are ahead of you. However you can try asking in various discords; for instance the Division 2 community discord, GCROCK discord, even DFA discord. As temporary solution you could use the "call for backup" function if you need help right away. That usually works quite well

What is your build?

You can essentially go two routes:

1. more skill damage with a pure skill build
2. more weapon damage with a hybrid build

Before Refactor was a thing, the highest skill damage build was a high-end build. You had basically zero downsides to incorporate CHC in there, you still did great skill damage, and additionally, decent weapon damage.
Since Refactor is a gear set you have less attributes you can work with. So you gotta decide which way you wanna go

The thing about the Refactor Chest is, yes it does more healing than anything else for refactor.
But if you think how your skill does there healing it burst a bunch of DMG quickly which in the end it’ll over heal.
The reason we will always recommend CG first is that it’s more dmg that in turn heals more then helps kill w/e then it doesn’t hurt anyone anymore.

If you want a tanky dps try blue striker. It is frowned upon but helps you until you get comfortable with the content

Your damage will be lower but you will have some armor later turn blue into red and you are good to go

At the end you want red dps because no amount armor is enough your only choice is to kill faster

Concentrated Company is similar to Striker in some ways, but the stacks are based on how many players shot the enemy you marked and is more annoying to use in solo play

God I learned how to position and prioritize enemies for those 3 days I tried it

Made me appreciate the turret more for manipulating enemy movement

And it took me an hour

Regardless, you are going to have to be good at the game and know the enemy spawns as well as have a good build

You could have enough damage to one-tap everyone with a single shot from your Lexington and you will still die instantly if you forget to focus on the grenadier in the back
