You are trying to queue for a mode that has maybe 10% of the overall player base. And you were playing at the near end of the day, which not many people will be on at that time either. As most are already working, or they're on their way home from their jobs. Plus with how the PVP mode sits, it is extremely unbalanced. Those who want to play PVP titles will move on to better games

Plus also take into account the fact that Xbox game pass ultimate went up in price. That also affects if people have Xbox live or not, so if not many people are willing to pay for that either, you're going to see a drop in people to match with

If you want to ensure that you are getting consistent conflict games, especially with you being in the North American region, you will typically want to wait until weekends or late late at night. Most of the PVP player base tends to get on late at night

My advice its to go DZ south and stay inside DZ and wait for players to come or try not to leave a server that its already with many players

because console pvp has gone to shit. long periods of people intentionally crashing servers, then talent/damage glitches coming into play right after people were finding out about the prior reason. most of the xbox dz community has either stopped playing or moved to pc coping

maybe thats not entirely the case because after reading up a bit there seems to be a bit of activity, but i imagine it's much more niche 1v1 type deals with people just chilling. sfing is probably a ghost town and hardly any organic pvp run ins

No. Your best bet is to crawl into DZ and just mass invite friends into it

If you want to farm dz mostly solo, just wait until the deadest periods of the day to jump in and farm. Or, take a full armor striker build with memento backpack and eagle bearer. Most rogues who try to jump your landmarks know not to push somebody with Tenacity and a scannable Armor bar that grants you 75% off all purchases at your local grocery store

If you look at games like escape from tarkov for example, which has devs that are in direct communication with pvp content creators through group discords/private dms to send in cheaters to be investigated. i imagine there'd be something like that needed and it's hard to say that this game's devs would do something like that

no they dont, Div 1 was a PVPVE game it was heavy PVP end game cause there really wasnt nothing to do in the PVE world till end of life. Now the PVE gang was upset and wanted a more pve friendly game. If the PvP community is 20% of total then why can't we just get 1/5 patches for mostly PvP changes. The PvE crown can't complain and we get enough attention so we are kept relatively ok.

But patch after patch we got absolutely nothing, project resolve was the only real PvP patch in like 5 years lol

It's not that bad at all.

Just get a PCI Ethernet and put it in your PC, yes you need a PC. Then you bridge your computers connection to your console, sometimes it's a bit buggy but after it's done it's less hassle to swap region with this setup than on the PC u game on.

Or create a wireless point but that won't be as stable.

i hear you on that. i've always pvped on games where we're the minority. i could be wrong, so correct me if i am but there doesn't seem to be a dev inside their circle pushing for pvp updates, or one that's as competent to know what endgame pvp is about. you see this in games like old-school runescape, where a pvp content creator eventually ended up getting hired on by their company. he's now spear-heading the push for all pvp updates, and it's not like the guy was some billybob. he partook and won several older pvp tournaments, sp he gets it.

do pvpers actually make up for 20% of the game? i'd be willing to bet it's even lower, probably sub 10% if not lower

I'd say it comes down to the higher ups as far as what they're incentivizing and allocating the dev's time and resources to, on top of maybe a complacent devteam that has no interest in PvP themselves giving any sort of hint at anything PvP related in meetings. This game isn't a passion project where you see devs getting into it for the love of the game as the one I mentioned before, so that minority PvP base is going to sting much worse

yeah you can always get someone on the server in which you intend to transfer to invite you then leave. pain in the ass for hopping etc though. vpn on console with just a shared either usb to eithernet port or w/e works just fine

i dont think u need the 2nd UA piece, just the holster or if u still use picaro then it goes elsewhere. anything crit based should aim for 50% CHC minimum, in the case of Umbra since it gains an additional 100% CHD then practically all damage output is only on a crit there fore u must get as close to 60 as u can

The sharpshooter one is the Version i run,a bit more unsafe but has more dmg.
The firewall one has less dmg but is way safer with everyday carrier and the firewall armor kit.
Take both builds with a grain of salt since i havent changed them for arround 9 Months,so could be the same,could be better stuff available. Kneepads roll a yellow core and are pvp exlusive so a bit hard to get but can drop from named chaches. Bighorn drops from legendary content.(Farm floor 10 summit with targeted loot set to ARs)

at one point this game was literally kept alive by 1 developer. ubisoft intended to leave this game to die 6 years ago but the community didnt want that. and now here we are. of course getting these issues fixed is going to take time. its not like division 2 has a giant studio backing it like COD does or Battlefield

the game is ran by a skeleton crew right now and slowly getting bigger again

the new players div has been racking up is also whats been keeping the game going too. plus the cosmetics. the older players are returning or they are also leaving. the pvp community is what is truly dwindling. the pve side is still flourishing

i will say, conflict lobbies when i played about a week and a half ago, were fairly easy because they were newer players trying out the pvp modes. it was nice to have variety for a bit instead of the same old umbra/bighorn regen

I have just under 1k hours on pc and have a full headshot set with optimal rolls. I also had insane RNG and crafted 3/4 pieces from bad pieces. In total I've probably had less than 30 syscor pieces drop

My skills are decoy and sticky so if you can utilize those really well it's not an awful build. Regen will outclass it which is the issue

You want a solution ? if they want to stick with this kind of small scale PvP = no custom loadout alowed, you play with specific loadout like "sniper, healer, tank...", you put more objective to complete, so no more camping in some places waiting for kill.

Its a terrible build to add to the game. The reason we have cores in the first place is so it creates a rock, paper, scissors type system where DPS beats tank, tank beats skill, and skill beats DPS in PvP scenarios and PvE it creates team synergy and a role for each player. The main issue the ttk is way too fast, makes dps builds like umbra way too good as it’s a third person game which means pvp is just third person viewing around a wall and bursting someone down. Yeah I do agree tho the dz is way too small and also a big issue is that the dz has no loot. Literally no reason to go to the dz for anything

Yeah the expertise thing messed a lot up + they aint delicate anymore with damage buffs in loot and talents its always massive amounts rather than just a 5 or a 10 here an there. They probably want it that way for that reason though so bots can get kills aswell.

it used to be that you could solo a server and you'd have that one rat at the back with skills ruining your chances of a 1v4, 1v5, but now no one even bothers using skills anymore, the gun builds became that easy and that strong, why rely on a 1 trick with cooldowns when every time u reload u can influence the fight
